In the process of combustion of atomized liquid fuels, the fineness of atomization plays an important role in determining the quality of combustion. This note describes briefly some experimental research work on this subject and sets forth the experimental phenomena showing that there is an optimum value for the fineness of atomization which affects the completeness of combustion.
