A variable-power(VP)adaptive modulation(AM)scheme with space-time block code(STBC)is developed in MIMO systems,and the corresponding performance is investigated in Nakagami fading *** optimum switching thresholds are derived so that the spectrum efciency(SE)under an average power and a target bit error rate(BER)constraint is *** the switching thresholds,average BER and SE are further *** a result,closed-form expressions are ***,the exact and approximate BER expressions of VP AM and constant-power(CP)AM systems with delayed feedback are respectively *** results show that the theoretical SE and BER can match the corresponding simulation *** results indicate that VP-AM with STBC provide higher spectrum efciency than the CP counterparts,and has slighter bite error rate performance degradation when the normalized delay is less than 0.01.

Many neurological diseases are suggested to be caused by pathologically strong synchronization of neurons in cerebral cortex. A large-scale cortical network consisted of one-dimensional two-layer array of excitatory pyramidal neurons and inhibitory interneurons, is constructed based on the map-based neuron model. When the coupling strength between neurons exceeds a critical value, the cortical network exhibits synchronous activity, manifesting a large-amplitude oscillatory mean field activity. Suppression of such synchronized behavior of the cortical network using linear delayed feedback control is investigated. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that effective synchronization suppression can be realized as soon as the delayed feedback signal is administered.

The passivity and feedback passification of T-S fuzzy systems with norm bounded uncertainties are *** is focused on the design of memoryless and delayed feedback controllers because the kinds of controllers have not been fully *** appropriate selection of Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and introduction of free weighting matrices,which make the obtained condition less conservative,generalize sufficient *** terms of a linear matrix inequality（LMI）,we obtain delay-dependent sufficient conditions which guarantees the passivity based stabilization of the closed-loop system for all admissible uncertainties.A numerical example is given to show the correctness and effectiveness of our theoretical results.

＜正＞According to the characteristic of the method of control chaos by self-feedback and period signal, the new method of adaptive delayed control by self-feedback has made. In practice, ones only give certain initial values of delayed time and signal gain, avoiding the clumsy process of determining the control parameter prior. Applying the method into Rossler system and two-degree-of-freedom airfoil system, numerical calculation indicates that the method can effectively control chaos, whether state variable or systemic parameter, and can effectively shorten control time.

As a classical technique for chaos suppression,the time-delayed feedback controlling strategy has been widely developed by stabilizing unstable periodic orbits(UPOs)embedded in chaotic systems.A critical issue for achieving high controlling precision is to search for an appropriate time *** paper proposes a simple yet effective approach,based on incremental harmonic balance method,to determine the optimal time delay in the delayed feedback *** time delay is adjusted within the iterative scheme provided by the proposed method,and finally converges to the period of the target *** long as the optimal time delay is fixed,moreover,the attained solution makes it quite convenient to analyze its stability according to the Floquet theory,which further provides the effective interval of the feedback gain.

In this paper a class of networks with multiple connections are discussed. The multiple connections include two different types of links between nodes in complex networks. For this new model, we give a simple generating procedure. Furthermore, we investigate dynamical synchronization behavior in a delayed two-layer network, giving corresponding theoretical analysis and numerical examples.

Cooperative driving with V2V communication is under extensive investigation,because of its potential to increase the safety,reliability,connectivity,and autonomy of transportation *** paper studies the problem of connected cruise control（CCC） for a platoon of human-driven and autonomous *** data,such as distance and velocity information,are transmitted by vehicle-to-vehicle（V2V） communication between connected *** into account the communication latency and unpredictable behavior in the leading vehicle,we formulate the CCC problem as an adaptive optimal control problem with input delay and disturbance.A novel data-driven control solution is proposed for the vehicle platoon,which guarantees that each vehicle can achieve safe distance and desired common *** adaptive dynamic programming technique with sampled-data system theory,a data-driven adaptive optimal controller is learned from sampled data,without the knowledge of the human or vehicle dynamics of the platooning *** and robustness analyses are provided by means of inputto-state stability *** results confirm the efficacy of our method.
