Research on Testing System for Three-dimensional Distribution of Luminous Intensity of LED

In terms of asymmetrical three-dimensional distribution(ID) of luminous intensity(LI) of light-emitting-diode(LED),a testing system was conducted in this study. Design and principle of the testing system were introduced. 31 photometers were placed on a concentric circle,and all of them were used to gather LI data of LED at the same time. The data acquisition card(DAC) was used to gather multichannel data and controlled motor. Experimental results indicated that the testing system had achieved the goal of testing three-dimensional distribution of LI. And each parameter could meet the requirements of industrial production and measurement.

A wood board auto-classifying system basing on virtual instrumentation technology has been established. The system hardware is composed of optical probe, computer terminal, capture card, signal/adjustment models and instructions-executing unit. The software adopts the notion of modularization, and is altogether divided into four modules including master operational controls, automatic detections, information processing and miscellaneous functions, displaying page by page. Each is further subdivided into sub-modules, such as data storage, statement display and printing, history review, important parameter amendment （code needed for parameter value）, statistical analysis （maximum, minimum and average, etc.）, help system, user administration and so on. Its operating interface is a design by LabVIEW, the virtual instrumentation software with direct test results displayed on screen. The system applies a sensor with three receivers to detect color of object （wood board）, then output voltage. After conditioning, data acquisition card signal is collected to the PC. By the voltage and the calibration of the relationship between voltage and color stimulus value, computer terminal will calculate the stimulus value, and compared with the set value, then get the chromatic aberration. Finally, according to the size and scope of chromatic aberration divide it into 8 categories, output the corresponding switch control signal to the executing agency. This system can automatically measure wood board chromatism and output order to drive the enforcing unit accordingly, avoiding disadvantage as low accuracy and uneven color because of fatigue, dizziness or subjectiveness, in order to save cost and increase more sorting levels. Applications feature humanization, convenience and high-speed response to the system. To achieve high quantum efficiency and good stability has been a main direction to develop GaAs photocathode recently. Through early research, we proved that variable doping structure is executable and practical, and has great potential. In order to optimize variable doping GaAs photocathode preparation techniques and study the variable doping theory deeply, a real-time quantum efficiency measurement system for GaAs Photocathode has been designed. The system uses FPGA （Field-programmable gate array） device, and high speed A/D converter to design a high signal noise ratio and high speed data acquisition card. ARM （Advanced RISC Machines） core processor s3c2410 and real-time embedded system are used to obtain and show measurement results. The measurement precision of photocurrent could reach 1nA, and measurement range of spectral response curve is within 400～1000nm. GaAs photocathode preparation process can be real-time monitored by using this system. This system could easily be added other functions to show the physic variation of photocathode during the preparation process more roundly in the future.
