A novel lactic acid-based cross-linked poly（ester-amide）（LCPEA） was synthesized. The gel fraction of the LCPEA could be modulated by the reaction conditions and it affected the mechanical and thermal properties of the LCPEA. The tensile strength, elastic modulus and bend strength of the LCPEA of 65% gel fraction were 4.65, 136.55 and 39.63 MPa, respectively. The thermal decomposition temperature （50 wt%） of the LCPEA was around 410℃.

An appropriate amount of toluene 2,4-diisocyanate（TDI） was added into polyether（[（CH2CH2O）13 CH2O]n/Li salt electrolyte to form a cross-linked network,with improving the film proces sability and thermal stability.The relation between the structure and ioinc conductive properties of the cross-lined polyether electrolytes was investigated by means of Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy（FTIR）,differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）,mechanical property and AC impedance spectroscopy.The electrolytes system is found to have two glass transitions,and it is found that the two Tgs increase with increasing salt concentration.At the some Li salt concentration,the conductivity of cross-liked polyether/LiN（CF3SO2）2 complex system is higher than that of LiClo4,At EO/Li=25：1（mol ratio）,the former conductivity changes with temperature,while the later coincids with Arrhenius formula（σ=Ae^-Ea/RT）.The cross-linked polyether/LiN（CF3 SO2）2 electrolyte exhibits the maximum σ=10^-4.75S/cm at 30℃.

Volume expansion and polysulfide shuttle effect are the main barriers for the commercialization of lithium-sulfur(Li-S) battery.In this work,we in-situ polymerized a cross-linked binder in sulfur cathode to solve the aforementioned problems using a facile method under mild conditions.Polycarbonate diol(PCDL),triethanolamine(TEA) and hexamethylene diisocyanate(HDI) were chosen as precursors to prepare the cross-linked binder.The in-situ polymerized binder(PTH) builds a strong network in sulfur cathode,which could restrain the volume expansion of sulfu r.Moreover,by adopting functional groups of oxygen atoms and nitrogen atoms,the binder could effectively facilitate transportation of Li-ion and adsorb polysulfide chemically.The Li-S battery with bare sulfur and carbon/sulfur composite cathodes and cross-linked PTH binder displays much better electrochemical performance than that of the battery with PVDF.The PTH-bare S cathode with a mass loading of 5.97 mg/cm^2 could deliver a capacity of 733.3 mAh/g at 0.2 C,and remained 585.5 mAh/g after 100 cycles.This in-situ polymerized binder is proved to be quite effective on restraining the volume expansion and suppressing polysulfide shuttle effect,then improving the electrochemical performance of Li-S battery.

Effect of Multi-Hydroxyl Polymer-Treated MUF Resin on the Mechanical Properties of Particleboard Manufactured with Reed Straw

The poor bonding performance between aqueous adhesives represented by melamine-urea formaldehyde(MUF)resins and reed straw hinders their applications in the field of non-wood-based panels.Multi-hydroxyl polymers are highly reactive and are often used as crosslinkers.This study fabricated a resin with a strengthened crosslinked structure by combining a multi-hydroxyl polymer and MUF resin prepolymer.The reed particleboard was prepared by using this resin as an adhesive and reed stalk as the matrix.The results show that neighboring molecules combined to form C–O–C bonds that strengthened the cross-linked structure of the resin.In addition,the viscosity of the resin was increased,and a continuous adhesive layer on the surface of reed particles was formed,which slowed the penetration of reed particles.The adhesive layer significantly improved the mechanical properties of the reed particleboard.The maximum modulus of rupture(MOR),modulus of elasticity(MOE),and internal bonding strength(IB)of the reed particleboard were 33.53,4126,and 0.79 MPa,respectively.The IB of the board was 3.3 times higher than that of the reed particleboard prepared with a conventional MUF resin.Reed straw is a non-wood biomass material that has the advantage of sustainable development and may replace woodbased materials to produce particleboard.This resin-prepared reed particleboard is expected to be used in areas such as custom furniture and engineering materials.

Study on the Structure of Peroxide cross-linked Polyethylene Pipes with Several Stabilizers

cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pipes used in hot water supply are required for high mechanical strength and high creep resistance at high temperature. Especially PEX-a pipes which are made by peroxide cross-linking have better performance, such as creep resistance and thermal shock resistance than the pipes made by the other cross-linking method. Because the PEX-a pipes indicate the higher cross-link degree as compared with the other PEX pipes. In this study, the PEX-a pipes which were mixed with several stabilizers were tested to evaluate the effects on cross-link degree and the oxygen induction time. And also they are evaluated with the chlorine aqueous solution by the performance of the long-term hydrostatic pressure test and the long-term hydro dynamic pressure test. As a result, it was found that the combination of antioxidants for PEX-a pipes plays an important role to prolong the oxygen induction time without inhibiting the cross-linking. From the results of the 1H pulsed NMR measurement over the melting point of polyethylene, it was found that each peroxide PEX pipe with different antioxidant combinations indicated the different proportion and crosslink density of cross-linked region, in addition, that these pipes had the effective structure of cross-linking for the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic pressure test with the chlorine aqueous solution. Therefore, it was considered to be useful results for studies of the stricture of cross-linking of polyethylene.

In this paper,the adsorbent for the removal of hexavalent Cr(Chromium)from aqueous solutions has been prepared by modifying chitosan composite with EP(Epichlorohydrin)or GA(Glutaraldehyde).The modified cross-linked chitosan was characterized by SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy)and FT-IR(Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy).Batch adsorption experiments were carried out to evaluate the adsorption of Cr(VI)by the cross-linked chitosan under different conditions.Furthermore,the sorption mechanism of Cr(VI)by the cross-linked chitosan was investigated by applying Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm equations to the data obtained.The concentration of Cr in solution was determined by ICP-MS(Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry).The cross-linked chitosan can be an efficient sorbent for Cr(VI).

The semi-interpenetrating network anion exchange membranes(AEMs)based on quaternized polyvinyl alcohol(QPVA)and poly(-diallyldimethylammonium chloride)(PDDA)are synthesized.The chemical cross-linking structure is formed between hydroxyl groups of QPVA and aldehyde groups of glutaraldehyde(GA),which makes PDDA more stable embed in the QPVA matrix and also improves the mechanical properties and dimensional stability of AEMs.Due to the phase separation phenomenon of AEMs swelling in water,a microporous structure may be formed in the membrane,which reduces the transmission resistance of hydroxide ions and provides a larger space for the transfer of hydroxide ions,thus improving the conductivity.The ring structure of PDDA is introduced as a cationic group to transfer hydroxide ions,and shields the nucleophilic attack of the hydroxide ions through the steric hindrance effect,which improves alkaline stability.The hydroxide conductivity of semi-interpenetrating network membrane(QPVA/PDDA0.5-GA)is 36.5 mS cm^(-1) at 60℃.And the membrane of QPVA/PDDA0.5-GA exhibits excellent mechanical property with maximum tensile strength of 19.6 MPa.After immersing into hot 3 mol L^(-1) NaOH solutions at 60℃ for 300 h,the OHconductivity remains 78%of its initial value.The semi-interpenetrating network AEMs with microporous structure exhibit good ionic conductivity,mechanical strength and alkaline durability.

A series of novel organic-inorganic hybrid proton-conducting electrolyte membranes with silane-crosslinked sulfonated poly(aryl ether ketone)(SC-SPAEK) networks was prepared via a simple procedure that includes solution casting and acid treatment. The organosilicon pendants of the silane-grafted SPAEK, which were expected to serve as coupling and crosslinking agents, were found to play a key role in the homogenous dispersion of inorganic particles and improved the performance of hybrid membranes. The hybrid membranes exhibited enhanced proton conductivity, and SC-SPAEK/TiO2-4 showed an extremely high proton conductivity of 0.1472 S/cm at 100℃. The crosslinked hybrid membranes also demonstrated good chemical resistance, oxidative stability, and mechanical properties. The crosslinked hybrid membranes with excellent comprehensive performance may be a promising material for proton exchange membrane fuel cells.
