Electrochemical reduction of CO_(2)(CO_(2)RR)has become a research hot spot in recent years in the context of carbon *** is one of the most promising products obtained by electrochemical reduction of CO_(2) due to its high energy value as estimated by market price per energy unit and wide application in chemical *** is the most abundant renewable resource in the natural *** biomass oxidative conversion with CO_(2)RR driven by renewable electricity would well achieve carbon *** this work,we comprehensively reviewed the current research progress on CO_(2)RR to produce HCOOH and coupled system for conversion of biomass and its derivatives to produce value-added ***-and Bi-based electrocatalysts are discussed for CO_(2)RR with regards to the structure of the catalyst and reaction ***-oxidation reactions of biomass derived sugars,alcohols,furan aldehydes and even polymeric components of lignocellulose were reviewed as alternatives to replace oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in the conventional electrolysis *** was recommended that to further improve the efficiency of the coupled system,future work should be focused on the development of more efficient and stable catalysts,careful design of the electrolytic cells for improving the mass transfer and development of environment-friendly processes for recovering the formed formate and biomass oxidation products.

This study investigates the global Mittag-Leffler stability(MLS) problem of the equilibrium point for a new fractional-order coupled system(FOCS) on a network without strong connectedness. In particular, an integer-order coupled system is extended into the FOCS on a complex network without strong connectedness. Based on the theory of asymptotically autonomous systems and graph theory, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the existence, uniqueness, and global MLS of the solutions of this FOCS on a network. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the validity and potential of the proposed method for studying the MLS of FOCSs.

A novel combined model of the vibration control for the coupled flexiblesystem and its general mathematic description are developed. In presented model, active and passivecontrols as well as force and moment controls are combined into a single unit to achieve theefficient vibration control of the flexible structures by multi-approaches. Considering thecomplexity of the energy transmission in the vibrating system, the transmission channels of thepower flow transmitted into the foundation are discussed, and the general forces and thecorresponding velocities are combined into a single function, respectively. Under the controlstrategy of the minimum power flow, the transmission characteristics of the power flow areinvestigated. From the presented numerical examples, it is obvious that the analytical model iseffective, and both force and moment controls are able to depress vibration energy substantially.

Substantial progress has been made over the past three decades since the Monsoon Experiments（MONEX） of 1978–79. Here, we review these achievements by highlighting four breakthroughs in monsoon research：（1） The identification of the coupled ocean–land–atmosphere nature of the monsoon in the process of the annual cycle of solar heating;（2） new understanding of the changes in the driving forces of monsoon systems, with anthropogenic factors（climate effects of increased greenhouse gas and aerosol emissions） playing an important role in the regulation of monsoons;（3） detection of the interdecadal- and centennial-scale variability of monsoon systems, and its attribution to the combined impact of global warming and natural（especially oceanic） effects; and（4） the emerging concept of the global monsoon and its long-term variation under the impact of global climate change. All the observational and model-derived evidence demonstrates that the monsoon system, as an important component of the global climate system, has already changed and will continue to change in the future. This picture of an evolving monsoon system poses great challenges for near-term prediction and long-term projection.

For the system of multilayer dynamics of fluids in porous media, the second order upwind finite difference fractional steps schemes applicable to parallel arithmetic are put forward. Some techniques, such as calculus of variations, energy method, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates are adopted. Optimal order estimates are derived to determine the error in the second order approximate solution. These methods have already been applied to the numerical simulation of migration-accumulation of oil resources.

This work provides analytical results towards applications in the field of invasive-invaded systems modeled with nonlinear diffusion and with *** results focus on showing regularity,existence and uniqueness of weak solutions using the condition of a nonlinear slightly positive parabolic operator and the reaction-absorption monotone *** coupling in the reaction-absorption terms,that characterizes the species interaction,impedes the formulation of a global comparison principle that is shown to exist ***,this work provides analytical solutions obtained as selfsimilar minimal and maximal profiles.A propagating diffusive front is shown to exist until the invaded specie notes the existence of the *** the desertion of the invaded st arts,the diffusive front vanishes globally and the nonlinear diffusion concentrates only on the propagating tail which exhibits finite ***,the invaded specie is shown to exhibit an exponential decay along a characteristic *** exponential decay is not trivial in the nonlinear diffusion case and confirms that the invasive continues to feed on the invaded during the desertion.
