A convenient method for the Synthesis of 1,3,2-Oxazaphospholidin-[3,2-a]-8-oxo-10-thio(or seleno)-[1,3,2]-benzodiazaphosphorines

A convenient method for the synthesis of fused phosphorusheterocycle 1,3,2-oxazaphosphorin-[3.2-a]-8-oxo-10-thio(or seleno)-[1,3,2]-benzodiazaphosphorines was carried out in one pot by the reaction of Tris(diethylamino)phosphine with multifunctional compounds 2-(N-(beta or gamma-hydroxyl) alkylene) amino-benzamides 1. When PCL3 was used, only chlorinated product was obtained.

　　Considerable research is currently focused on the organic electrophosphorescent materials due to their high luminescent efficiency. Electrophosphorescent material based on heavy metal complexes is a hot topic in the research of organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs). We synthesized a series of novel cyclometalated heavy metal complexes by introducing pheny-quinoline moieties into ligands by means of a convenient method (Scheme 1), and investigated their photophysical properties which indicated that those compounds exhibited red light-emitting and high luminescent *** complexes have been characterized by 1H NMR, UV-vis and PL.……

Cobalt-Catalyzed Vinylation of Organozinc Reagents with Aldehydes

Transtion metal catalyzed vinylation of organic halides are known to be a very convenient method for forming carbon-carbon bonds at unsubstituted vinylic position. The versatility of stilbenes is well known because of its various biological active components, the variety of its reactions in organic syntheses, and its ability to function as a bonding partner for metals in complexes. Many methods have been described for the synthesis of stilbenes. The reduction, dehydrogenation, and elimination reactions leading to stilbenes without formation of new carbon-carbon bonds are known to be a very convenient methods. Synthetically more important are the dimerization reactions: oxidative or eleminative dimerization of a suitable methylarene often constitutes the method of choice for the preparation of a symmetric stilbene. Meerwein arylation and Heck reaction are prominent examples for the synthesis of stilbenes from arenes and styrenes. Moreover, condensation reactions of a nucleophilic with an electrophilic arylmethyl compound include Knoevenagel type reactions and the very general Wittig and Wittig-Horner reactions are also known methods.

Novel Preparation of Methoxy Carbamates of 1-Protected Indole- 3-methylamines as Precursor of Indole-3-methylamine

Indole-3-methylamine (1) has been well demonstrated to be a very useful intermediate as a pharmaceutical building block and starting material for syntheses of phytoalexins.[1] The instability of indole-3-methylamine (1) has undoubtedly restricted its application in synthetic chemistry. Hofmann rearrangement that directly converts carboxamides to alky carbamates in the presence of alcohol required unexceptionally a strong base,[2] which devaluated the possible usefulness of Hofmann rearrangement in preparation of base sensitive amines, especially for the preparation of unstable indole-3-methylamine (1). Herein we would like to report a convenient method for the preparation of alkyl carbamates of 1-protected indole-3-methylamines (4) via the diacetoxyiodobenzene (DIB) promoted Hofmann rearrangement under neutral condition.
