Development of the peanut precision fertilization control system based on threshold velocity algorithm

In view of the fact that the current ground wheel velocimetry of the peanut precision fertilizer control system cannot solve the phenomenon of ground wheel slippage,and signal interference and delay loss cannot be excluded by BeiDou positioning velocimetry,a set of peanut precision fertilizer control system was designed based on the threshold speed algorithm.The system used STM32F103ZET6 microcontroller as the main controller,and touch screen for setting the operating parameters such as operating width,fertilizer type,and fertilizer application amount.The threshold speed algorithm combined with BeiDou and ground wheel velocimetry was adopted to obtain the forward speed of the tractor and adjust the speed of the DC drive motor of the fertilizer applicator in real time to achieve precise fertilizer application.First,through the threshold speed algorithm test,the optimal value of the length N of the ground wheel speed measurement queue was determined as 3,and the threshold of the speed variation coefficient was set to 4.6%.Then,the response performance of the threshold speed algorithm was verified by comparative test with different fertilization amounts(40 kg/hm^(2),50 kg/hm^(2),60 kg/hm^(2),70 kg/hm^(2))under two speed acquisition methods of ground wheel speed measurement and threshold speed algorithm(combination of Beidou single-point speed and ground wheel speed measurement)in different operation speeds(3 km/h,4 km/h,5 km/h).The response performance test results showed that the average value of the velocimetry delay distance of the BeiDou single-point positioning velocimetry method was 0.58 m,while the average value of that with the threshold velocity algorithm was 0.27 m,which decreased by 0.31 m and indicated more accurate with the threshold velocity algorithm.The field comparison test for fertilizer application performance turned out an over 96.08%accuracy rate of fertilizer discharge by applied with the threshold speed algorithm,which effectively avoided the inaccurate fertilizer application caused by wheel s

A Novel Robotic control system Mimics Doctor’s Operation to Assist Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

Objectives:The use of current robotic systems to assist in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)fundamentally differs from performing conventional PCI.To overcome this problem,we developed a novel master-slave robotic control system to assist in PCI,and evaluated its safety and feasibility in the delivery and manipulation of coronary guidewires in vitro and in vivo.Methods:The novel robotic assist PCI system is composed of three parts:1)a master actuator,which imitates the traditional torque used by surgeons in conventional PCI,2)a slave actuator,including a guidewire delivery system and force monitoring equipment,and 3)a local area network based communication system.Results:The experiment was performed in six pigs.Both robotic and manual control completed the operation with no device-or procedure-associated complications.An experienced interventional cardiologist who was aﬁrst-time user of the novel robotic PCI system was able to advance the guidewire into a distal branch of a coronary artery within a similar time to that required with the manual procedure.Conclusion:This early in vivo experiment with the novel robotic assisted PCI control system demonstrated that its feasibility,safety,and procedural effectiveness are comparable to those of manual operation.The novel robotic-assisted PCI control system required signiﬁcantly less time to learn than other currently available systems.

Resilence control of DC Microgrid Integrated with Multi-Nanogrids Considering Connected-Islanded States

In this paper, a DC microgrid (DCMG) integrated with a set of nano-grids (NG) is studied. DCMG exchanges predetermined active and reactive power with the upstream network. DCMG and NGs are coordinately controlled and managed in such a way the exchanged P-Q power with external grid are kept on scheduled level following all events and operating conditions. The proposed control system, in addition to the ability of mutual support between DCMG and NGs, makes NGs support each other in critical situations. On the other hand, in all operating conditions, DCMG not only feeds three-phase loads with time-varying active and reactive power on the grid side but also injects constant active power into the grid. During events, NGs support each other, NGs support DCMG, and DCMG supports NGs. Such control strategies are realized by the proposed control method to increase resilience of the system. For these purposes, all resources and loads in DCMG and NGs are equipped with individual controllers. Then, a central control unit analyzes, monitors, and regularizes performance of individual controllers in DCMG and NGs. Nonlinear simulations show the proposed model can effectively control DCMG and NGs under normal and critical conditions.

Marine in situ testing is a necessary step for stereotyping newly developed marine sensors. The use of test sites in the Yangtze Estuary area, which has high turbidity and abundant nutrients, can effectively reduce the needed testing time owing to its harsh conditions. Five test stations were established, and a floating buoy and fixed test equipment were designed. A control system, including a sensor connection, data processor, video remote transmission, and corresponding control algorithm, was developed. The control system enabled the nondestructive monitoring of biological attachments and bidirectional, real-time communication between an upper server on land and the control system at the test sites. The dissolved oxygen(DO), temperature, and pH data of DOS600 and DPS600 sensors were compared with those of AP2000 sensors. Temperature recording using the DOS600 sensor was performed nearly as well as that of the AP2000 sensor. The mean DO values(standard deviations) were 8.414 mg L-1(2.068) and 6.896 mg L-1(1.235) for the DOS600 and AP2000 sensors, respectively, indicating that the DOS600 performance was unsatisfactory. The pH recording of the DPS600 was slightly worse than that of the AP2000 sensor. Experimental results showed that the DO value was more easily affected by the buoy movement of waves compared to the pH and temperature. Moreover, data fluctuations showed that the DO and pH parameters were more vulnerable to biofouling than temperature. Waves and biofouling create a harsh test environment, and the performance difference between the developed sensors and a standard sensor can be obtained in a short time period.

A penning plasma surface H- ion source test stand for the CSNS has just been constructed at the IHEP. In order to achieve a safe and reliable system, nearly all devices of the ion source are designed to have the capability of both local and remote operation function. The control system consists of PLCs and EPICS real-time software tools separately serving device control and monitoring, PLC integration and OPI support. This paper summarizes the hardware and software implementation satisfying the requirements of the ion source control system.

Background High energy photon source(HEPS)is the fourth-generation light source,which uses a large number of highperformance insertion devices to generate synchrotron radiation.The control system is an important part of the insertion device(ID).Purpose Cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)is one kind of IDs that works in liquid nitrogen temperature and ultra-high vacuum environment,and its control system is more difficult and complex than in-air ID.The design of the control system for CPMU will be introduced in detail.Method The sub-systems include high-precision magnetic gap control,safety protection,measurement and compensation of magnetic gap at cryogenic temperature and cryogenic temperature monitoring.Mature,reliable,stable technical schemes are designed to meet the technical specifications of sub-systems.Results The experiment results show that the magnetic gap motion accuracy can be controlled within 0.2–0.3μm under the step size of 1μm.The safety protection system has been tested in turn,and the predetermined protection can be achieved.The average value of magnetic gap cold contraction is 1.512 mm measured by optical micrometer,and the compensation is realized by software.The average temperature of the main magnet structure measured by the temperature sensors is 81.0 K,and the temperature gradient is 0.7 K/m.The temperature monitoring is reliable and stable.Conclusion The CPMU control system which is based on EPICS has been successfully applied to the CPMU prototype,and the test results have met the design specifications.

Introduction In this paper,we detail the architecture,design,and testing of an accurate and usable electronic cooler control system for the cooling storage main ring at the Heavy Ion Research Facility,Lanzhou,China(HIRFL-CSRm),and present the results of its use.Purpose A control system must manage devices with a high degree of accuracy to satisfy various physical requirements,and to ensure the accuracy of the data acquisition and control characteristics.Methods and materials The software for the system,based on the C++,was developed following the model-view-controller architecture pattern.On the hardware side,an I-7017R module was adopted for analog-to-digital conversion and an I-7065D module for electronic delay.The communication protocol was analyzed,discussed,and implemented.Results The control system was then tested with the 12C3+carbon beam at HIRFL-CSRm.The fast reaction time and high-precision data processing exhibited during beam tuning verified the stability and maintainability of the proposed control system.

Development of Distributed control system for Neutral Beam Injector on EAST

A distributed control system of Neutral Beam Injector （NBI） on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak （EAST-NBI） is briefly presented in this paper. The control system is developed in accordance with the experimental operational characteristics of the EAST- NBI. The NBI control system （NBICS）, which is based on the computer network technologies and classified according to the control levels, consists of three levels： a remote monitoring layer, a server control layer, and a field control layer. The 3-layer architecture is capable of extending the system functions and upgrading devices. The timing system provides the reference clock of the synchronization and interlock for the EAST-NBI system. An interlock system ensures the safety of the experiment operators and field devices. Both of the ion sources of the beamline are designed to operate independently. This lays an important foundation for developing a control system for the second beamline on EAST. Experimental results demonstrate that the NBICS meets functional requirements of the EAST-NBI control, and makes experimental operations visual and automatic.

Background The control system for ion source is based on distributed architecture.The hardware structure,working principle,interlock design and graphics interface design are introduced and stated in this paper.Purpose To improve the accuracy and usability of the electron cyclotron resonance ion source with advanced design for HIMM.Methods The data acquisition system is based on PLC and FPGA integrated circuit.Interlock protection is designed for vacuum system,power supplies system and cooling water system.Results The control system is tested with C5+ion beam,where fast reaction time and high-precision data processing during beam tuning have verified the stability and maintainability of the control system.Conclusion The latest results and the reliable long-term operation of the accelerator demonstrate that the performance has been continually improved with the development of the optimized control system.

The development of data acquisition and control system for extraction power supply of prototype RF ion source

A 16 kV/20 A power supply was developed for the extraction grid of prototype radio frequency（RF） ion source of neutral beam injector. To acquire the state signals of extraction grid power supply（EGPS） and control the operation of the EGPS, a data acquisition and control system has been developed. This system mainly consists of interlock protection circuit board, photoelectric conversion circuit, optical fibers, industrial compact peripheral component interconnect（CPCI） computer and host computer. The human machine interface of host computer delivers commands and data to program of the CPCI computer, as well as offers a convenient client for setting parameters and displaying EGPS status. The CPCI computer acquires the status of the power supply. The system can turn-off the EGPS quickly when the faults of EGPS occur. The system has been applied to the EGPS of prototype RF ion source. Test results show that the data acquisition and control system for the EGPS can meet the requirements of the operation of prototype RF ion source.
