Two pieces of news reports on Yangtze Sunken Ship event are analyzed in this essay to prove the influence of context model in news reports discourse by comparative analysis approach. Through illustrating the different expressions in these reports discourse, the process how cognition(or context model) influences and determines the production and understanding of discourse has been demonstrated.

context is very important factor that can’t be ignored in speech communication. context contributes much to understanding the meaning of words. The exact and thorough interpretation of words and utterance results from contexts. The relation is discussed between context and listening comprehension, and the functions of context are analyzed in listening. It is pointed out that the analysis of contextual clues is useful in understanding listening materials and also introduces some ways on contextual clues in listening so as to improve listening comprehension.

The notion of context provides flexibility and adaptation to cloud computing services. Location, time identity and activity of users are examples of primary context types. The motivation of this paper is to formalize reasoning about context information in cloud computing environments. To formalize such context-aware reasoning, the logic LCM of context-mixture is introduced based on a Gentzen-type sequent calculus for an extended resource-sensitive logic. LCM has a specific inference rule called the context-mixture rule, which can naturally represent a mechanism for merging formulas with context information. Moreover, LCM has a specific modal operator called the sequence modal operator, which can suitably represent context information. The cut-elimination and embedding theorems for LCM are proved, and a fragment of LCM is shown to be decidable. These theoretical results are intended to provide a logical justification of context-aware cloud computing service models such as a flowable service model.

Mobile professionals need to be assisted with suitable mobile GeoBI (Geospatial Business Intelligence) systems, which are able to capture, organize and structure the user’s reality into a relevant context model and reason on it. GeoBI context modelling and reasoning are still research issues since there is not yet either a model or a relevant taxonomy regarding GeoBI contextual information. To fill this gap, this paper proposes an extended and detailed OWL-based mobile GeoBI context ontology to provide context-aware applications and users with relevant contextual information and context-based reasoning capabilities. context quality issues are handled an implementation architecture which is provided.

The Earth, which is a planet connection with the evolution of the Solar system, was formed and evolved as part of the WHOLE, in close of the Universe. The awareness, knowledge, and understanding of our coexistence with the Universe may clarify a series of obscure problems of our existence, and, at the same time, may bring solutions for other acute problems which our modem society has to face, such as energy, nature preservation, the origin, evolution and adaptation of the living and especially of man to the environment, etc.. This paper is trying to theoretically break up the concept of environmenf＇ into four fundamental contexts： terrestrial, lunar, solar-planetary, and cosmic context. We intend to approach the four contexts that distinctly and simultaneously influence life on the Earth using the interface theory which we developed in Informational Anthropology, Integronics and Biocosmological Anthropology. We consider that the living adapted and developed in a differentiated way according to the impact of these contexts. They may be the source for the four causalities Aristotle intuited, as well as the cause of many still unknown phenomena that diversified man＇s evolution and variability （Ackrill 1997; Falcon 2008）.

The present study examined disclosure and use of privacy settings in online social networking profiles as a function of the media context (i.e., online versus hard copy (paper and pencil) FacebookTM profiles). Gender was also examined. Overall, participants disclosed more information when constructing a profile for another person when using a hard copy paper and pencil format than an online context. Gender differences were not uniform across media contexts, however, in contrast to traditional disclosure theory, females censored their disclosures more so than males but only for some topics. Only 20% of the sample increased their use of privacy settings. Consistent with patterns of disclosure, descriptive comparison suggests that more settings were employed in the paper and pencil than online context and more privacy settings were employed by females.
