A new composite material consisting of lxxx aluminum alloy and 7xxx aluminum alloy was produced by semi-continuous casting. Macrostructure, microstructure, composition distribution and hardness distribution of composite interface were analyzed. Macrostructure shows that composite interface is planar and clean with little evidence of porosity; microstructure shows that composite interface is a kind of metallurgical bonding; composition and hardness distributions have a good corresponding relationship. At the same time, the mechanical property of composite interface was measured, the tensile strength is 71 MPa, the shearing strength is 62 MPa and the bending strength is 142.5 MPa, which can also show that composite interface is a kind of metallurgical bonding. Temperature distribution of composite interface was obtained by measuring temperatures near composite interface in lxxx aluminum alloy.

In order to improve the red luminescent properties,Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)was selected as a blue persistent luminescent donor phosphor,while light conversion agent was utilized to tune the persistent luminescent spectra from blue to *** red luminescent material Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)/light conversion agent(SMED/LCA)was fabricated with light conversion agent and Sr_(2)MgSi_(2)O_(7):Eu^(2+),Dy^(3+)at a certain mass ***_(2)(Al2 O_(3) or MgF2)were coated on the surface of SMED/LCA through heterogeneous deposition *** structural and optical characteristics of the resulting samples were launched in terms of X-ray diffraction and emission spectrum as well as afterglow *** results demonstrate that the emission spectrum exhibits two emission bands,and the peaks are located at around 470 and 615 ***_(2),Al_(2)O_(3) and MgF_(2) are coated on the surface of SMED/LCA like a protective shell to maintain its stability and luminescent properties,the afterglow initial brightness is still up to 0.37 cd/m^(2) and the afterglow color purity calculated from CIE color coordinates is basically unchanged.

Structural Characterization and Property Study on the Activated Alumina-activated Carbon composite material

AlCl3,NH3·H2O,HNO3 and activated carbon were used as raw materials to prepare one new type of activated alumina-activated carbon composite *** influence of heat treatment conditions on the structure and property of this material was discussed;The microstructures of the composite material were characterized by XRD,SEM,BET techniques;and its formaldehyde adsorption characteristic was also *** results showed that the optimal heat treatment temperature of the activated alumina-activated carbon composite material was 450 ℃,iodine adsorption value was 441.40 mg/g,compressive strength was 44 N,specific surface area was 360.07 m2/g,average pore size was 2.91 nm,and pore volume was 0.26 m3/*** to the BET pore size distribution diagram,the composite material has dual-pore size distribution structure,the micro-pore distributes in the range of 0.6-1.7 nm,and the meso-pore in the range of 3.0-8.0 *** formaldehyde adsorption effect of the activated alumina-activated carbon composite material was excellent,much better than that of the pure activated carbon or activated alumina,and its saturated adsorption capacity was 284.19 mg/g.

A very simple model based on the Quadrupole method was used in thetheoretical analysis of thermal diffusivity of composite materials of Cu-PVC, PVC-Cu-PVC, andCu-PVC-Cu. The use of MATLAB software with a return to real space using the Stehfest algorithm makesthe time of calculation very short. The thermal responses on the rear face of each consideredsample, which determine the thermal diffusivity were represented. A mathematical demonstration whichconfirmed the results was given. Thermal diffusivity determined from the rear face thermalresponses were compared with the results of the thermal diffusivity calculated by considering thecomposite materials to be homogeneous, and a discussion on the two kinds of results was provided.

According to the recent development trend and need of the frictionbrake material, the flake rein- forced friction brake material hasbeen made out by adjust- ing the recipe and techniques. Thetwo-dimensional flake vermiculite is selected as the reinforcedstuffing of the ma- terial; the modified resin is used as the basalbed of the material. The tests manifest that the properties ofmechan- ics are high, the friction coefficients are suitable andstabel, and especially in high temperatures the wear is low. It is anexcellent friction brake material.

A system of impact damage detection for composite material structures by using an intelligent sensor embedded in composite material is described. In the course of signal processing, wavelet transform has the exceptional property of temporal frequency localization, whereas Kohonen artificial neural networks have excellent characteristics of self-learning and fault-tolerance. By combining the merits of abstracting time-frequency domain eigenvalues and improving the ratio of signal to noise in this system, impact damage in composite material can be properly recognized.

In order to select a suitable material for the rolling mill guide application, the dry sliding friction and wear resistance of a tungsten carbide combining cobalt (WC-Co) particle reinforced chromium cast iron composite material were studied. In particular, the wear resistance was discussed in detail. The results showed that the composite material demonstrates 25 times the wear resistance of high Cr cast iron, and 9 times the wear resistance of heat resistant steel. However, the average friction factor in the stable friction stage showed a relationship of μcomposites/45#steel>μHigh chromium cast iron/45#steel>μHeat resistant steel/45 # steel. The wear resistance mechanism of the composite material was associated with the reinforcing particles, which protruded from the worn surface to bear the friction load when the matrix material surface was worn, thereby reducing the abrasive and adhesive wear. In addition, the matrix material possessed suitable hardness and toughness, providing a support to the reinforcements.

In the study of the composite materials performance,X-ray computed tomography(XCT)scanning has always been one of the important measures to detect the internal *** image segmentation technology will effectively improve the accuracy of the subsequent material feature extraction process,which is of great significance to the study of material *** study focuses on the low accuracy problem of image segmentation caused by fiber cross-section adhesion in composite CT *** the core layer area,area validity is evaluated by morphological indicator and an iterative segmentation strategy is proposed based on the watershed *** the transition layer area,a U-net neural network model trained by using artificial labels is applied to the prediction of segmentation ***,a CT image segmentation method for fiber composite materials based on the improved watershed algorithm and the U-net model is *** is verified by experiments that the method has good adaptability and effectiveness to the CT image segmentation problem of composite materials,and the accuracy of segmentation is significantly improved in comparison with the original method,which ensures the accuracy and robustness of the subsequent fiber feature extraction process.
