LogGPO:An accurate communication model for performance prediction of MPI programs

Message passing interface （MPI） is the de facto standard in writing parallel scientific applications on distributed memory systems. Performance prediction of MPI programs on current or future parallel systems can help to find system bottleneck or optimize programs. To effectively analyze and predict performance of a large and complex MPI program, an efficient and accurate communication model is highly needed. A series of communication models have been proposed, such as the LogP model family, which assume that the sending overhead, message transmission, and receiving overhead of a communication is not overlapped and there is a maximum overlap degree between computation and communication. However, this assumption does not always hold for MPI programs because either sending or receiving overhead introduced by MPI implementations can decrease potential overlap for large messages. In this paper, we present a new communication model, named LogGPO, which captures the potential overlap between computation with communication of MPI programs. We design and implement a trace-driven simulator to verify the LogGPO model by predicting performance of point-to-point communication and two real applications CG and Sweep3D. The average prediction errors of LogGPO model are 2.4% and 2.0% for these two applications respectively, while the average prediction errors of LogGP model are 38.3% and 9.1% respectively.

With the rapid spread of smart sensors,data collection is becoming more and more important in Mobile Edge Networks(MENs).The collected data can be used in many applications based on the analysis results of these data by cloud ***,data collection schemes have been widely studied by ***,most of the researches take the amount of collected data into consideration without thinking about the problem of privacy leakage of the collected *** this paper,we propose an energy-efficient and anonymous data collection scheme for MENs to keep a balance between energy consumption and data privacy,in which the privacy information of senors is hidden during data *** addition,the residual energy of nodes is taken into consideration in this scheme in particular when it comes to the selection of the relay *** security analysis shows that no privacy information of the source node and relay node is leaked to ***,the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme is better than other schemes in aspects of lifetime and energy *** the end of the simulation part,we present a qualitative analysis for the proposed scheme and some conventional *** is noteworthy that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing protocols in terms of the above indicators.

Recent developments in vehicular networking have greatly affected the vehicle markets. The remote monitor, management and fault diagnose of vehicles become a reality and a one of the marketing factor to the manufacturers. Research of vehicle networking communication protocol attracts efforts working on vehicle communication models, protocols, data formats, etc., aiming at providing a universal protocol schema and related protocol data format standard. Implementation of a system is reported for bridging the in-vehicle CAN bus network and mobile communication network to remote hosts, design of the gateway is described and some details are presented. The system can be used to make vehicles mobile intelligent terminals in this information oriented world.

Space information network is used for real time acquiring, transmitting and processing the space information on the space platform, which provides significant communication services for communication, navigation positioning and science exploration. In this paper, the architecture of Software Defined Space Optical Network (SDSON) based on cloud platform is designed by means of Software Defined Optical Network (SDON) and cloud services. The new architecture combining centralized and distributed management-control mechanism is a multi-layer and multi-domain architecture with powerful computing and storage ability. Moreover, reliable service and unreliable service communication models employed in the space information network are proposed considering the characteristic of Disruption/Delay Tolerant Network (DTN). Finally, the functional verification and demonstration are performed on our optical experimental network platform.

The paper investigates the distributed formation control problem for multiple quadrotor system. The reference coordinate is introduced to define desired positions of multiple quadrotor system, then a consensus law is illustrated to generate each quadrotor’s information in reference coordinate. To eliminate the formation control error when flying trajectory of formation control system includes rotational motion, the quadratic programming problem is adopted. Firstly, the mathematical model of each quadrotor is illustrated. The linear double integrator system based on PID controller is developed which obtains the attitude and position stability of the quadrotor. Then, the PD controller is used to update the information of reference coordinate. The distributed formation control protocol based on the consensus algorithm is proposed to enable follower quadrotors to get their information of the reference coordinate system. The quadratic programming problem is introduced to minimize formation control error, maintain the accuracy of the algorithm. Finally, the numerical simulations show the proposed algorithm can maintain formation control stability.

＜正＞ Application of Intelligent transportation system in city traffic management has got much progress. It makes people feel important of traffic information, so many metropolis exploit urban public traffic information system（UPTIS）. In this paper we discuss MAS design, some key techniques for integration and cooperation of UPTIS platform. Genetic algorithm is introduced to assign related agent to a suitable node or traffic information character, improved the coordination efficiency of agents in UPTIS. Also give mobile agents characters in the MAS environment of UPTIS. The agent communication language—knowledge query and manipulation language（KQML） is introduced and an agent communication model is established based on urban traffic flow and road knowledge query and manipulation language. Based on the class of agent function: whole mining agent, local mining agent, communication agent, forecasting agent, we discuss an effective way to communicate among agents and network nodes, such as optimal road selected mobile agent in MAS-UPTIS intelligent transport system, and whole mining agent of MAS-UPTIS.

以福建武夷山景区和九鲤湖景区为例，从发射性形象和接受性形象两个方面来探讨旅游目的地形象的传导模式。发射性形象通过对景区管理者的访谈资料得出结论，接受性形象通过驴妈妈网站上游客对景区的点评资料分析得出，指出网络点评资料具有丰富化与差异化、分散化与整体性、参与性与传导性特征。对比两个景区的发射性形象和接受性形象的差异并分析不吻合的原因后，文章构建了网络信息嵌入前的目的地形象单向传导模式和网络信息嵌入后的双向传导模式，同时验证了信息嵌入后的双向传导模式有更大的优势，即双向性、循环性和反馈性特征，有助于提高发射性形象和接受性形象的吻合度。

“自由”作为近现代政治学重要观念，中土传播其来有自，已成为观念传播史的重要研究命题。对于“自由”观念的传播，言之者夥，而考辨阙如，致使学界民间皆理解失真，言说失意。本文以语汇源流、政治交往、传教士报刊三个维度，厘清并还原自由观念跨文化传播的历时性状况，同时对思想传播史中的观念交互现象以及相关文本问题进行了辨析考证。晚清自由观念的层累式传播模式，反映了特定思潮在异质文化语境中的传播路径，更体现出晚清社会政治文明冲突的历史本真。
