Safety Evaluation of commercial vehicle Driving Behavior Using the AHP–CRITIC Algorithm

To prevent and reduce road traffic accidents and improve driver safety awareness and bad driving be-haviors,we propose a safety evaluation method for commercial vehicle driving *** driving style clas-sification indexes were extracted using driving data from commercial vehicles and four primary and ten secondary safety evaluation *** on the stability of commercial vehicles transporting goods,the acceleration index is divided into three levels according to the statistical third quartile,and the evaluation expression of the safety index evaluation is *** were divided into conservative,moderate,and radical using K-means++.The weights corresponding to each index were calculated using a combination of the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and criteria importance through intercriteria correlation(CRITIC),and the driving behavior scores of various drivers were calculated according to the safety index score *** established AHP-CRITIC safety evaluation model was verified using the actual driving behavior data of commercial vehicle *** calculation results show that the proposed evaluation model can clearly distinguish between the types of drivers with different driving styles,verifying its rationality and *** evaluation results can provide a reference for transportation management departments and enterprises.

Five types commercial vehicles equipped with advanced emergency braking pedestrian system(AEBSed) from different Chinese manufacturers was tested and evaluated in accordance with the traffic industry standard JT/T 1242-2019 performance requirements and test procedures for commercial vehicle *** test results show that the braking efficiency of the system is relevant to the time to collision(TTC) and the execution strategy of the braking *** braking stability and reliability of the same system vary greatly due to the quality of the matching braking *** system based on millimeter wave radar and camera information fusion is worse than that of pure vision technology due to the effect of fusion algorithm and other ***,we point out some problems existing in the test and evaluation of commercial vehicle under a single test scenario and put forward some relevant suggestions.

This paper proposes a nonlinear optimization approach for the ride comfort based on nonlinear damping to improve the optimized reliability of ride comfort of the commercial ***,a vibration model of a commercial vehicle is established and followed by a road excitation model and a nonlinear damping model that can provide nonlinear damping force by using compression velocity rather than linear *** weighted Root Mean Square（RMS） from previous comfort models is then obtained and compared with experimental *** result indicates that the ride model based on nonlinear damping leads a more accurate result and is closer to the experiment than the model based on the equivalent one.A optimization approach for ride comfort based on nonlinear damping to the commercial vehicle is further *** sum of weighted RMS of the vertical vibration acceleration of driver seat at 30 km/h,60 km/h,and90 km/h is taken as the objective function with the stiffness and nonlinear damping gradient of suspension as the design ***,the particle swarm optimization（PSO） is utilized to improve the ride *** the optimal stiffness and nonlinear damping are ***,the effectiveness of the presented approach is evaluated by the comparison of the logarithmic power spectral density and the weighted RMS before and after *** is shown that the optimization method can reduce the average peak of power spectral density and the average weighted root mean square by 29.9% and 10.2%,respectively.

The distance measurement accuracy is directly related to the safety margin of forward collision warning system（FCWS）warning time,which affects the safety of vehicles and *** measurement accuracy of a commercial vehicle equipped with different FCWS sensing schemes was tested and analyzed according to relevant regulations and standards on the basic of the analysis of the distance measurement principle of FCWS sensor *** test results show that the distance measurement accuracy of millimeter wave radar and camera information fusion has the preferable ***,we pointed out some problems existing in the test and evaluation of distance measurement accuracy for commercial vehicle FCWS and put forward some feasible suggestions.

Aiming at the path tracking problem of commercial vehicles,the model predictive control strategy is adopted.A predictive model is established according to the two-degree-of-freedom vehicle model,which is transformed into a linear time-vaiying model by linearization and *** order to ensure the stability of the vehicle,the front wheel steering angle,front wheel steering angle increment and the tire side-slip angle are *** path tracking controller of linear time-varying model predictive control algorithm is established,and the co-simulation is carried out under different working *** simulation results show that the proposed path tracking controller can ensure that the vehicle travels along the reference path,so that the vehicle achieves a good path tracking effect;the model predictive control algorithm has good adaptability to vehicle speed,vehicle load and road adhesion coefficient,which guarantees the stability of vehicle driving.
