Performance evaluation of wavelet scattering network in image texture classification in various color spaces

The optimized color space is searched by using the wavelet scattering network in the KTH_TIPS_COL color image database for image texture classification. The effect of choosing the color space on the classification accuracy is investigated by converting red green blue （RGB） color space to various other color spaces. The results show that the classification performance generally changes to a large degree when performing color texture classification in various color spaces, and the opponent RGB-based wavelet scattering network outperforms other color spaces-based wavelet scattering networks. Considering that color spaces can be changed into each other, therefore, when dealing with the problem of color texture classification, converting other color spaces to the opponent RGB color space is recommended before performing the wavelet scattering network.

＜正＞This paper aims at exploring how spectral variation of illumination influences the classification accuracy of print defects in different color spaces,when the color camera is unable to adapt to varying *** variation is achieved through simulated transformation of correlated color temperature of illumination of the test images. The percentile features are used to detect the possible defective areas on printing matter *** are demonstrated that the original RGB color space is the best color space under varying illumination,the XYZ and CIELuv spaces being also very *** interesting observation is that features from some of the color spaces perform worse than features obtained from grey-level images.

In recent years,it has been evident that internet is the most effective means of transmitting information in the form of documents,photographs,or videos around the *** purpose of an image compression method is to encode a picture with fewer bits while retaining the decompressed image’s visual *** transmission,this massive data necessitates a lot of channel *** order to overcome this problem,an effective visual compression approach is required to resize this large amount of *** work is based on lossy image compression and is offered for static color *** quantization procedure determines the compressed data quality *** images are converted from RGB to International Commission on Illumination CIE La^(∗)b^(∗);and YCbCr color spaces before being *** the transform domain,the color planes are encoded using the proposed quantization *** improve the efficiency and quality of the compressed image,the standard quantization matrix is updated with the respective image *** used seven discrete orthogonal transforms,including five variations of the Complex Hadamard Transform,Discrete Fourier Transform and Discrete Cosine Transform,as well as thresholding,quantization,de-quantization and inverse discrete orthogonal transforms with CIE La^(∗)b^(∗);and YCbCr to RGB *** to signal noise ratio,signal to noise ratio,picture similarity index and compression ratio are all used to assess the quality of compressed *** the relevant transforms,the image size and bits per pixel are also *** the(n,n)block of transform,adaptive scanning is used to acquire the best feasible compression *** of these characteristics,multimedia systems and services have a wide range of possible applications.

Considering the shortcomings of exiting watermarking algorithm,an adaptive robust blind watermarking algorithm in DCT Domain is *** divides color image luminance component into 8×8 bocks for DCT transform in YCb C r color Space,then embeds binary watermark in its middle frequency coefficients in DCT domain,therefore,the embedding and extraction of the binary watermark in color image carrier can be achieved relatively well and blind extraction,to get the watermark without original image,is *** simulation results show that the algorithm guarantees a good color image quality and can achieve excellent robustness against attacks such as Gaussian,Salt,Mosaic and Speckle attacks,etc.
