Empathy and cognitive schema:The Ways of Chinese Culture Going Global Reconsidered

In spite of its acknowledged achievements and contributions in recent years,it is still necessary to review the diplomacy of Chinese culture going *** from the perspective of cognition and affection,the main reason leading to the low efficiency of Chinese official cross-cultural communication is that the collectivism implied in the governmental institutes is in conflict with the individualism schema in Western mainstream discourse,making it difficult to invoke empathy from Western *** contrast,some popular culture spread through the Internet is empathy-provoking only because it contains two schemata of nostalgia and individualism that have been embedded in many Western netizens’*** other words,popular culture has little communicating power to transmit the essence of Chinese *** the limitations of these two ways,China should at least make adjustments on four aspects to improve the effect of its culture going out:(1)integrate more mutually shared schemata into the selected Chinese culture;(2)modernize the cultural contents and transmission methods;(3)reduce the role of the government and insist on diversifying and individualizing communication subjects;(4)encourage the creation of fine culture.

Translations of Chrysanthemum Poems in Dreams of Red Mansion from the Perspective of Roger T·Bell’s cognitive schema—based on Yang’s and Hawkes’s editions

The transability of poems has been a heated ***,there is no problem in transforming one language to anoth⁃***,the successful transformation rests with that the translation can get the identical aesthetics effect of source *** is no doubt that translation process plays a vital *** paper will analyze and study the translations of chrysanthemum poems in Dreams of Red Mansion from the perspective of Roger T·Bell’s cognitive schema,based on two editions,the translation of Yang Xianyi and Yang Gladys and the translation of David *** analysis gives rises a conclusion that the poetic beauty(the liter⁃ary grace containing in poems),disposition(the personality hiding behind poems)and omen(the destiny implying in poems)can be interactively processed in syntactic,semantic and pragmatic levels if the content and meaning of source text and target text can be transmitted equally.

English audio-visual materials have been widely used by teachers and students, and have been the important resources of teaching and self-study. What effects do these materials have on English listening comprehension? Based on the schema theory, this paper has this question expounded through empirical research. The result of the research indicates that if the sound messages are closely correlated with the visual ones, people’s cognitive schema can be stimulated and enriched, which will give concrete and vivid clues to their treatment of the sound materials, and improve their level of listening comprehension. However, it also indicates that learners’ language proficiency plays a fairly important role in their listening comprehension.

Address form is an inseparable part of human verbal communication. It can not only call the attention of others, but also reflect people's social status and their relations together with customs and conventions of a speech community. Address system aroused the interest of sociolinguists in 1960s and since then the study of it has become an independent field of sociolinguistics. Social address system is one subsystem of address system. It is used to denote people other than family members. As an important part of social etiquette, social address forms are closely related to social structure of a certain culture. Due to the complexity of the Chinese society, Chinese social address forms are extremely complicated. Therefore, to learn and know how to choose an appropriate social address form plays an important role in improving people's verbal communication and interpersonal relationship.This paper first introduces the definitions, classification and functions of address forms and reviews the theoretical achievement of address forms by the Western and Chinese scholars, then discusses the development and semantic changes of the most frequently used Chinese social address forms and puts forward the theory whichaffects people's choice and use of these address forms-cognitive schema. Inaddition, it further explores such factors as age and occupation which help to form address form schemas. Through the study, the author argues that address form not only plays the directive and absorbing roles, but is also a cognitive pattern. Address form schema deeply controls the way people recognize others and themselves. The process people choose one appropriate title to address other people is just the process they recognize others by address form schema.

关系图式是人际关系模式在大脑中的认知表征。关系图式对于人际关系、心理健康和临床心理学的重要指导作用已经成为社会认知、精神分析和发展心理学的研究共识。在理论上，关系图式可以定义为与重要他人长期互动与交往过程中，内化形成的人际情感、动作和认知的综合性组织结构。关系图式的内容可以划分为陈述性和程序性知识，包括了有关他人、自我认知表征和关系角本三个亚结构。关系图式会对自我评价、注意力偏向和压力产生相应的影响，安全的关系图式启动导致无条件地自我接受，减少人的心理压力，而不安全的关系图式导致对危险的优先注意。不良关系图式可能会导致青少年外化的行为障碍，并影响个体婚姻质量，而改变关系图式则可以治疗人格障碍和其他心理疾病。

地方感在旅游体验中已经日益成为重要的理论范畴。之所以如此的根本原因在于，如果承认旅游是一种时空转换框架中逐求差异性体验的行为，那么，旅游也就是某种寻求地方感的过程。不过，通过梳理国内外地方感研究文献发现，目前关于地方感的研究，仍鲜有直接从旅游的角度对地方感背后内隐的认知图式、地方感如何借助认知图式进行表征、潜藏于表征形式下的认知结构等核心问题进行研究的成果。为此，该研究选取我国俄罗斯族主要聚居地之一——内蒙古室韦这一具有突出民族特色的地方为案例地，以通过网络田野调查所搜集的有关室韦的网络游记文本作为分析单位，利用认知地图分析游客地方感认知图式的表征和结构，关注地方感在游客心理的组织过程和形成路径，力求将地方感纳入旅游体验研究的核心范畴之一，为理解地方感在旅游体验研究中的地位奠定充分的心理学基础。文章在认知地图分析的基础上，还进一步用类属分析对游记文本进行编码，在实证意义上探索地方感的内在维度，从而在“旅游场”中构建地方感理论模型。该研究认为，在旅游世界中重新理解地方感的内涵，其根本在于，承认游客的地方体验是在对旅游目的地自然地理环境、历史文化环境、社会人文环境拥有认同性了解的基础上，经由与旅游目的地的互动过程，最终通过旅游场中包含享受性体验、独特性体验、原真性体验、依恋性体验等在场体验行为所表征的综合性地方感体验过程。

[目的/意义]数据故事具备的多元特质能联结认知图式，可解决政府开放数据用户认知障碍，提高数据的认知敏锐度和利用率。[方法/过程]通过文献归纳了政府开放数据用户认知障碍，探析了数据故事激活认知图式联结的内因，厘清了数据故事作用下认知图式的共现关系及意义建构过程，并利用系统动力学构建了图式联结模型。[结论/结果]政府开放数据故事化实现了认知断带到认知联结，为政府了解用户数据认知需求、采纳数据故事、数据推广利用以及加速知识流转效率提供新思路。
