Effects of cognitive behavior therapy combined with Baduanjin in patients with colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND Cancer-related fatigue(CRF)is the most common concomitant symptom in the treatment of colorectal cancer(CRC).Such patients often present with subjective fatigue state accompanied by cognitive dysfunction,which seriously affects the quality of life of *** To explore the effects of cognitive behavior therapy(CBT)combined with Baduanjin exercise on CRF,cognitive impairment,and quality of life in patients with CRC after chemotherapy,and to provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for rehabilitation of CRC after *** Fifty-five patients with CRC after radical resection and chemotherapy were randomly divided into either an experimental or a control *** experimental group received the intervention of CBT combined with exercise intervention for 6 mo,and indicators were observed and measured at baseline,3 mo,and 6 mo to evaluate the intervention *** Compared with the baseline values,in the experimental group 3 mo after intervention,cognitive function,quality of life score,and P300 amplitude and latency changes were significantly better(Pcognitive function(Pcognitive function and quality of life score were further improved in the experimental group,with significant differences(Pcognitive impairment and the scores of each dimension were positively correlated with quality of life(Pcognitive impairment in CRC patients after chemotherapy,and improve their quality of life.

Objective: Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder. CBTI is the most effective and comprehensive non-pharmacological approach to treating insomnia, however, CBTI is underutilized due to a lack of professional knowledge, sufficient time, qualified psychologists, high cost, and other reasons. The field of CBTI is maturing, with great potential and broad prospects. This study used innovative bibliometrics and visualization software to analyze the relevant pieces of literature on CBTI which reveals research trends, hotspots and provides a reference as well guidance for researchers for future ***: Analyses were focused on the past 18 years from 2004 to 2021. All searches were performed on the Web of Science Core Collection database. The search was repeated to include structural cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia. Quantitative analysis was assessed using the bibliometric tool. Visualization analysis was carried out using ***: In the 736 articles reviewed, the number of publications has been increasing every year for the past 18 years. behavioral sleep medicine and sleep were the most active journals published on CBTI. The United States and Canada had the highest scientific publications in the field. Morin CM and Espie CA were the most active authors. The study type mostly observed were randomized controlled trials, meta-analyses, and epidemiological. Publications on digital-based cognitive behavior therapy and accessibility to primary care settings represent the future trends of research on ***: Possible explanations for CBTI publication trends were discussed, including the emergence of the evidence-based therapy, feasibility, and scalability. Potential CBTI publications trends in the future and clinical implications were also discussed.

Background: Major depressive disorder(MDD) is one of the most prevalent psychiatric disorders. The treatment of depression mainly includes drug therapy, physical therapy and psychological therapy. cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT) is a common psychosocial intervention method designed to help individuals challenge their own patterns and beliefs, and has been widely used in MDD therapy. However, previous researches on cognitive behavioral therapy are few and monotonous. Method: We collected thirty-three MDD patients and twenty-seven matched healthy controls. All the participants underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) scanning. After that, the depression group received fMRI scan after CBT treatment. We applied functional connectivity density(FCD) to identify abnormal connectivity for each voxel in the whole brain separately. We used a receiver operating characteristic curve to discriminate depression patients from healthy controls. We utilized correlation analysis to assess the relationship between aberrant functional connectivity density and clinical symptoms in the baseline depression group. Results: Compared to the healthy group, the baseline depression group and the depression treatment group presented decreased FCD in the bilateral dorsalateral prefrontal cortex(dlPFC). After CBT treatment, increased FCD was shown in the bilateral dlPFC in the patients. Moreover, in the baseline depression group, the local FCD of the right dlPFC correlated with duration. ROC analysis indicated that the right dlPFC in local FCD had the optimal value for the early diagnosis of MDD. Conclusions: MDD patients had the abnormal decreased in the dlPFC which was associated with cognitive regulation. The alteration of cognitive control network(CCN) may be the psychopathology of MDD. CBT treatment can improve the function of cognitive control network of MDD patients.

BACKGROUND This work explored the effects of cognitive behavior therapy(CBT)-based comprehensive nursing intervention(CNI)mode in arch expansion to treat patients with orthodontic osteodilated arch(OOA).AIM To explore the application effect of CBT-based CNI model in orthodontic expansion arch *** Using convenient sampling method,81 patients with OOA were selected and rolled into a control group(Ctrl group,40 cases)and an observation group(Obs group,41 cases).During the treatment,patients in the Ctrl group received routine nursing intervention mode,and the those in the Obs group received CBT mode on the basis of *** and after intervention,the incidence of oral mucositis,the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method,self-rating anxiety scale score,soft scale index,and plaque index were compared for patients in different *** addition,satisfaction and complications were comparatively *** Incidence of oral mucositis in the Obs group was lower(14.6%vs 38.5%),and the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method was obviously higher(90.2%vs 55.0%)was obviously higher(all P<0.05).Meanwhile,the soft scale index and plaque index in the Obs group were much lower(P<0.05).The compliance(90.24%)and satisfaction(95.12%)in the Obs group were greatly higher(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The CBT-based CNI mode greatly improved the mastery rate of correct arch expansion method during arch expansion in treating patients with OOA and enhanced the therapeutic effect of arch expansion and the oral health of patients,improving the patient compliance.

Background： Accumulating evidence indicates that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder （ADHD） is associated with core deficits in executive function （EF） which predicts poorer academic and occupational functioning. This makes early intervention targeting EF impairments important to prevent long-term negative outcomes. cognitive training is a potential ADHD treatment target. The present study aimed to explore the efficacy, feasibility, and acceptability of a cognitive training program （targeting child＇s multiple EF components and involving parent support in daily life）, as a nonpharmacological intervention for children with ADHD. Methods： Forty-four school-age children with ADHD and their parents participated in 12 sessions of EF training （last for 12 weeks） and 88 health controls （HC） were also recruited. Training effects were explored using both neuropsychological tests （Stroop color-word test, Rey-Osterrieth complex figure test, trail making test, tower of Hanoi, and false-belief task） and reports of daily life （ADHD rating scale-IV, Conners＇ parent rating scale, and behavior rating inventory of executive function [BRIEF]） by analysis of paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The differences on EF performances between children with ADHD after training and HC were explored using multivariate analysis. Results： The results （before vs. after EF training） showed that after intervention, the children with ADHD presented better performances of EF both in neuropsychological tests （word interference of Stroop： 36.1 ± 14.6 vs. 27.1 ± 11.1, t = 4.731, P 〈 0.001 ; shift time of TMT： 194.9 ± 115.4 vs. 124.8 ± 72.4, Z = -4.639, P 〈 0.001 ; false-belief task： χ^2 = 6.932, P = 0.008） and reports of daily life （global executive composite of BRIEF： 148.9 ± 17.5 vs. 127.8 ± 17.5, t =6.433, P 〈 0.001）. The performances on EF tasks for children with ADHD after EF training could match with the level of HC children. The ADHD symptoms （ADHD rating scale total score： 32.4
