One or two things Restoration works about architecture： at Trajan＇s Market

One of the objectives of the redevelopment project for Trajan＇s Market, which spanned from 2000 to 2002, was to rearrange the market＇s accessibility and the visiting paths that connect and cross the entire site. The purpose was to extensively expose its beauty and thus invite more tounsts into the area. The project design consisted of a series of catwalks placed at different levels and was conceived with respect to three criteria：（1） the didactic significance of forms and materials; （2） the coherence between architectural forms, techniques, and matenals with the identity of the place; and （3） the possibility of removing, if necessary, newly added elements without damaging the relics. The project also involved the rearrangement and reconstruction of the former ＂Giardino delle Mitizie＂（2002-2007） to allow public access to the archaeological stratification and to the ancient Roman street located at its bottom. Consequently, the vaults of the convent were suspended upon a system of steel beams, which, together with several wooden pillars, also support the glass roof of the space, offering a close view of the ancient Roman walls. The structure and architectural forms coincide, implying that each of these elements is necessary and genuine.

The development of the concept of architectural heritage conservation and its inspiration

Over recent decades,heritage conservation has developed in concept and *** paper uses a systematic literature review approach to collect charters and documents on heritage conservation issued by UNESCO and ICOMOS,divided into two periods,before 2000 and from 2000 to the present,for analysis from a qualitative *** study results show that the scope of architectural heritage is expanding,and the definition of conservation is changing from individual to holistic conservation and from holistic to sustainable *** focus of conservation has evolved from tangible to intangible *** changing scale of conservation,from object to landscape,incorporates a more comprehensive range of heritage values,and the status of conservation has changed from static to living *** study systematically structures the development of the concept of architectural heritage conservation,providing insight in the international field of architectural heritage conservation and encouraging reflection on the conservation of architectural heritage in historic cities.

Connecting Concepts of Cultural Landscape and Historic Urban Landscape: The Politics of Similarity

This paper projects the concept of cultural landscapes into the realm of urban conservation in the context of the Historic Urban Landscape(HUL)*** do this I take an historical overview of how,during the latter half of the 1980s and early 1990s,academic and professional interest in heritage studies started to embrace the cultural landscape *** movement continued through the 2000s with increasing links between theory and practice on urban conservation concerns and the concept of cities as cultural *** this connection the move in 2011 by UNESCO with the Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape is particularly *** were two significant *** was increasing questioning of heritage as focusing narrowly on the monuments and sites *** has been the growing appreciation that urban conservation locking onto separate historic towns or specific parts of cities is counter-productive;it ignores towns and cities as holistic entities isolating historic areas virtually as museum pieces separate from the rest of the urban fabric and lacking *** contrast HUL with its landscape approach is a process1 that embraces-city-wide-cultural,natural,tangible and intangible,social,economic,visual and experiential aspects of the physical morphology of the city and the image of the city;it underpins the fundamental concept of urban areas as a series of layers through time that link past,present and future as in the construct of cultural landscape.

Analysis of the French Tourist Proposals for People With Disabilities： From 1970s to Present

For two decades, in France, an increasing number of activities and tourist services have been increasingly designed and structured to meet the needs and expectations of people with disabilities. This is as a result of initiatives taken by many tourism and leisure operators, as well as actors from the medico-social worker＇s sector. There has also been the establishment of a national campaign, entrusted by the delegated Ministry of Tourism to the Tourism and Handicaps Association （ATH）. The campaign aims firstly, to make tourism accessible to customers with special needs, and secondly, to promote accessibility through the awarding of a certification label. Recently, a new label which defends accessibility in a specific area called ＂destination for all＂ has been created. This new label shows the evolution of accessibility from an ecological and systemic perspective which seems more practical and operational to respond to the daily needs and life of people with disabilities.
