The chain-like prior particle boundaries(PPBs)as a kind of stubborn harmful precipitate will hinder atomic diffusion and particle *** can only be broken into nanoscale through thermal deformation(1160–1200℃).Here,treated by the pulsed electric current at 800℃,PPBs were dissolved quickly as a result of the interaction between the pulsed electric current and the chain-like *** to the electromigration theory and the calculation results,the high current density regions will be mainly produced at the gaps due to the conductivity difference between the precipitates and the *** atomic diffusion flux caused by the pulsed electric current is proportional to the current ***,the existence of a large number of gaps in the chain-like PPBs will make the high current density regions play a more positive role in fast-dissolution.

A new organic-inorganic hybrid coordinated polymer [Zn(C8H23N5)]2(Pb3I10) (C8H23N5 = tetraethylene pentamine) was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1 with a = 9.781(2), b = 11.442(3), c = 11.565(3) ?, α = 99.075(8), β = 90.540(9), γ = 109.967(5)o, Zn2C16H46N10Pb3I10, Mr = 2399.94, V = 1198.4(5) ?3, Z = 1, Dc = 3.325 g/cm3, F(000) = 1048.0, μ(MoKα) = 17.951 mm-1, the final R = 0.0412 and wR = 0.0993 for 3375 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The title compound consists of [Zn(C8H23N5)]2+ cations and anionic chains [Pb3I10]n4n-, which are combined with each other via electrostatic attractive forces and N–H…I hydrogen bonds.

Two new alkali metal germanophosphates,namely,Na_(3)[Ge(OH)(PO_(4))_(2)]·2 H2 O and Li_(2)Na[GeO(HPO_(4))(PO_(4))],have been prepared by solvothermal method,and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray *** title two compounds crystalize in the same orthorhombic space group Pbcm(No.57)and feature similar chain-like structure which is built from zig-zag GeO_(6) octahedral thread loop branched by PO_(4) *** Na_(3)[Ge(OH)(PO_(4))_(2)]·2 H_(2)O,a=10.1650(9),b=13.1975(12),c=6.9751(7)Å,V=935.73(15)Å^(3),Z=4,R=0.0356 and wR=0.1109;and for Li_(2)Na[GeO(HPO_(4))(PO_(4))],a=6.9855(5),b=14.5809(18),c=6.6620(5)Å,V=678.56(11)Å^(3),Z=4,R=0.0286,and w R=*** partial substitution of Na ions by Li ions not only significantly influences the total structural features and the water molecule contents,but also impacts on their thermal ***_(2)Na[GeO(HPO_(4))(PO_(4))]is thermally stable up to 400℃,whereas only 150℃ for Na_(3)[Ge(OH)(PO_(4))_(2)]·2 H2 O.

The design of assembling high-nuclearity transition-lanthanide(3d-4f) clusters along with excellent magnetocaloric effect(MCE) is one of the most prominent fields but is extremely challenging. Herein, two heterometallic metal coordination polymers are constructed via the “carbonatetemplate” method, formulated as {[Gd_(18)Ni_(24)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3))_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(μ_(2)-OH)_(3)(H_(2)O)_(5)Cl]·Cl_(8)·(H_(2)O)_(14)}nand{[Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3)_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(H_(2)O)_(5)(IN)(CH_(3)COO)_(2)(NH_(2)CH_(2)COO)Cl]·C_(l6)·(H_(2)O)_(17)}n[abbreviated as 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))n respectively;H_(2)IDA = iminodiacetic acid;HIN = isonicotinic acid]. Concerning the structures, compounds 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))nboth feature the one-dimensional(1D) chain-like structure which is rarely reported in high-nuclearity metal complexes. Meanwhile, the large presences of Gd3+ ions in compound 1-(Gd18Ni24)nare conducive to the fantastic MCE, and the value of-ΔS_(m)is 35.30 J kg^(-1)K^(-1) at 3.0 K and ΔH = 7.0 T. And more significantly, compound 1-Gd_(18)Ni_(24)n shows the large low-field magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_(m)= 20.95 J kg(-1) K(-1) at 2.0 K and ΔH = 2.0 T)among the published 3 d-4 f mixed metal clusters.
