case-based reasoning in Conflict Negotiation in Concurrent Engineering

case based reasoning (CBR) is a kind of analogous reasoning that is widely used in artificial intelligence. Conflicts are pervasive in Concurrent Engineering design environment. Conflict negotiation is necessary when conflicts occur. It is difficult to resolve conflicts due to several reasons. An approach to resolving conflicts by case based reasoning is proposed in this paper. The knowledge representation of conflict negotiation cases, the judgment of case similarity, the retrieval model of cases, the management of case bases, and the process of case based conflict negotiation are studied. The implementation structure of the case based Conflict Solving System (CCSS) is also given.

The decision-making of urban core competitiveness is quite subjective and faced with much uncertainty, which makes the existing theoretical strategies of urban core competitiveness lack practicability. The author used case-based reasoning technology to design an urban core competitiveness decision support model, and developed a decision support system based on the model. Finally, some case cities were selected to testify the feasibility of the model. The study built model index system to measure similarities between case cities from intellectual capital perspective. By mining information of the source case cities in the model, we can obtain ample experience knowledge automatically, which may provide guidance for target city’s core competitiveness decision-making. As a result, the procedure of urban core competitiveness decision-making will become intelligent.

Modeling of Additive Manufacturing Process Relevant Feature in Layer based Manufacturing Process Planning

Compared with general machining processes,additive manufacturing(AM) process has stabler planning route and limited process variables and this makes it to be more easily designed and planned with knowledge based systems and computer aided *** based reasoning approach is applied to the process planning of additive manufacturing in this *** concept of "AM process relevant design features" is proposed after the analysis of the characteristics of AM *** concept is used as the basis of the knowledge representation,and AM relevant feature graph is used as the case representation *** case retrieval method is discussed based on this *** case representation of a machine arm is given to illustrate the brief process of the proposed approach.

A framework is put for ward,which integrates Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) with case based reasoning (CBR) and Bayesian *** following tasks are fulfilled:(1)discovering refined rules;(2)retrieving structured data which can not be described by flat vector feature;(3)forecasting the location of central fishing ground for the next *** these have been applied to a real case with some encouraging and interesting results.

＜正＞On the characteristics of complex rare-earth extraction process,difficult system craft operation,achieving hardly automatic control technology,and inaccessibility to on-line component content,the paper lodge a technology for the extraction of rare earth based on the case based reasoning（CBR） technology with *** can optimize the manual enactment in the rare-earth extraction process in place of the enactment to feeding liquid flowrate,forecast the information of component *** it designs structure of the case and establishes the cases library on the base of the dynamical equilibrium model of the extraction separation process and a large amount of historical data,and simplify the knowledge of the cases library and refines the rules with Rough Set theory,so the cases library is optimized and the speed of retrieval is greatly improved at the same *** method can achieve the intelligent optimal control for the rare-earth extraction process effectively and obtain good forecast-value of component *** industrial experiment in the extraction process using this CBR technology with Rough Set proves its effectiveness and accuracy.
