At present, some local colleges and universities are speeding up the transformation and exploration of the training mode of applied talents in the perspective of economics. In order to adapt to this change and reform, the completion of graduation design for business english major should not become a mere formality. We should combine the graduation design with teaching process, learning practice and internship experience, and regulate the evaluation and supervision of the graduation design.

The UK modern apprenticeship takes the workbased vocational training as the basic content which includes the cultivation of core skills, the professional qualification certificate system, and the transition from school to employment. As a successful vocational education mode, modern apprenticeship combines students, enterprises and government together, whose content and evaluation of curriculum is much more related to the work-based training goal, and has a reference and enlightenment function on training courses for business english major in the application-oriented undergraduate.

Traditionally, english pronunciation teaching in universities in China is always focused on the theoretical teaching in classroom, which cannot meet the requirements of society. At the same time, the new national standard of business english major puts forward higher demands of the educational objectives of the course. In order to adapt to the reform of business english major, university teachers of english pronunciation course should be active in promoting the curriculum reform. This paper proposes to make suggestions to change the traditional theory teaching of classroom and to improve the students＇ practical skills by training.

The vocabulary learning strategies are very common in english learning. Basing on O'Malley & Chamot's classification framework of vocabulary learning strategies, the present study conducts research by the questionnaires and interviews of junior business english majors to know the current real situation of business english vocabulary learning strategies used by business english majors. After analyzing and discussing the problems which are reflected in the questionnaire and interview, the researcher puts forward some suggestions on vocabulary learning and teaching in business english. The researcher hopes it is helpful for business english majors to learn business english vocabulary.

Based on the investigation of freshmen’metacognitive knowledge of business english-majors in english writing,the results show that:(1)the metacognitive subject knowledge of business english freshmen is at the middle level,the metacognitive task knowledge is at a high level,the strategy of seeking teachers'help is at a high level,and the use of other strategies is at a middle or lower level;(2)There is no significant differences between high and low group learners in their views on Chinese writing level and in their strategies of seeking help from classmates;(3)Multiple regression analysis shows that the main factors affecting english writing achievement are the views on writing standard,the utilization of strategies in writing process and strategies of seeking help from teachers.
