The insect midgut epithelium is composed of columnar, goblet, and regenerative cells. Columnar epithelial cells are the most abundant and have membrane protrusions that form the brush border membrane (BBM) on their apical side. These increase surface area available for the transport of nutrients, but also provide opportunities for interaction with xenobiotics such as pathogens, toxins and host plant allelochemicals. Recent improvements in proteomic and bioinfbrmatics tools provided an opportunity to determine the proteome of the T. ni BBM in unprecedented detail. This study reports the identification of proteins from BBM vesicles (BBMVs) using single dimension polyacrylamide gel elec? trophoresis coupled with multi-dimensional protein identification technology. More than 3000 proteins were associated with the BBMV of which 697 were predicted to possess either a signal peptide, at least one transmembrane domain or a GPI-anchor signal. Of these, bioinfbrmatics analysis and manual curation predicted that 185 may be associated with the BBMV or epithelial cell plasma membrane. These are discussed with respect to their predicted functions, namely digestion, nutrient uptake, cell signaling, development, cell-cell interactions, and other functions. We believe this to be the most detailed proteomic analysis of the lepidopteran midgut epithelium membrane to date, which will provide information to better understand the biochemical, physiological and pathological processes taking place in the larval midgut.

Background:In order to achieve the goal of malaria elimination,the Chinese government launched the National Malaria Elimination Programme in 2010.However,as a result of increasing cross-border population movements,the risk of imported malaria cases still exists at the border areas of China,resulting in a potential threat of local transmission.The focus of this paper is to assess the Plasmodium vivax incidences in Tengchong,Yunnan Province,at the border areas of China and Myanmar.Methods:Time series of P.vivax incidences in Tengchong from 2006 to 2010 are collected from the web-based China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention,which are further separated into time series of imported and local cases.First,the seasonal and trend decomposition are performed on time series of imported cases using Loess method.Then,the impact of climatic factors on the local transmission of P.vivax is assessed using both linear regression models(LRM)and generalized additive models(GAM).Specifically,the notion of vectorial capacity(VCAP)is used to estimate the transmission potential of P.vivax at different locations,which is calculated based on temperature and rainfall collected from China Meteorological Administration.Results:Comparing with Ruili County,the seasonal pattern of imported cases in Tengchong is different:Tengchong has only one peak,while Ruili has two peaks during each year.This may be due to the different cross-border behaviors of peoples in two locations.The vectorial capacity together with the imported cases and the average humidity,can well explain the local incidences of P.vivax through both LRM and GAM methods.Moreover,the maximum daily temperature is verified to be more suitable to calculate VCAP than the minimal and average temperature in Tengchong County.Conclusion:To achieve malaria elimination in China,the assessment results in this paper will provide further guidance in active surveillance and control of malaria at the border areas of China and Myanmar.

Cross-border capital flow is an important indicator in the field of economy and finance,and a key factor affecting global financial stability.Studying the law of cross-border capital flow is of great significance to grasp the macroeconomic situation.Based on the concept and historical law of cross-border capital flow,we find three characteristics of cross-border capital flow since this year:large-scale capital flow back to the United States,increasing pressure of capital outflow from emerging markets,and net capital inflow into China.Based on the analysis of historical laws,it is expected that cross-border capital will still return to the United States in the second half of the year,and emerging market countries will also face greater capital outflow pressure.The trend of cross-border capital flows will have a profound impact on interest rates,exchange rates and oil prices,resulting in multiple risks faced by oil and gas enterprises,such as the debt default of resource countries,the increase of overseas financing costs,the increase of exchange rate risks and the downward trend of oil prices.We suggest establishing an early warning mechanism to avoid the risks.

The rapid development of the digital economy and profound changes in currency functions have driven the emergence of a large number of digital currencies.In order to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of payment systems,governments all over the world have accelerated the research and development of central bank digital currency(CBDC).After years of preparation and research and development,Digital renminbi has also entered the pilot application stage.Given the many shortcomings of the current cross-border payment system,CBDC cross-border payment has become an important development direction.At present,some central banks are collaborating on CBDC cross-border payment research and initiating experimental plans to explore CBDC cross-border payment arrangements.With the expansion of the acceptance range of Digital renminbi and the improvement of the international use level of CNY,oil and gas enterprises will have broad prospects in the cross-border payment field in the future.This paper suggests that oil and gas enterprises,in accordance with the principle of"from easy to difficult,step by step",give priority to the introduction of Digital renminbi from regions and fields where RMB or local currency settlement has been achieved,and combine Digital renminbi with imported oil and gas to explore the use of Digital renminbi in cross-border payment.
