The flow velocity distribution of the bio-fluidized bed reactor was an important factor to its wastewater treatment capability. According to the results of numerical simulation, a new type of internal circulation bio-fluidized bed reactor with adjustable structure was developed and used for a pilot scale test. The velocity distributions of reactors with different structure composition were investigated through experiments. The result showed that the structure of the reactors had a great effect on the velocity distribution, the velocity in different reactors ranged from 0.047 m·s-1 to 3.046 m·s-1. The optimized parameters were: the ratio of up flow zone area to down flow zone area was 1, the length of baffle was 1100 mm, and the gap between the baffle and the reactor bottom was 750 mm. Under this condition, the velocity distribution of the reactor showed a uniform and reasonable pattern and the velocity ranged between 0.121 and 0.924 m·s-1.

The experimental study on denitrificaiton of nitrogenous organic wastewater using the co-processes of bio-fluidized bed plus activated sludge filter bed which formed in gas-liquid-solid separating zone was carried *** results showed that:1)Non-suppressed nitrification bacteria group by carbon sources was reproduced in the bio-fluidized bed system,which in turn contributed to the NH-N removal efficiency of up to 93%-95%;2)Dynamic and stable sludge filter was formed in the gas-liquid-solid separating zone by the setting of incline-tube and the controlling of precipitation mud condition,which leaded to the dramatically improving of TN removal rate;3)85% BOD removal efficiency and 74% TN removal efficiency was achieved under the operation conditions of HRT of 1.5h, aeration of 0.25 m h,BOD load of 9.2～10.4 mdand TN load of 0.65 kgmd.
