针对700℃一次再热超超临界机组回热系统抽汽过热度偏高、[火用]损较大的问题,在基准机组基础上提出2种方案并进行性能对比研究,方案1采用背压抽汽汽轮机(back pressure extraction steam turbine,best)替代基准机组3~6级的回热加热器,方案2采用best并加装外置式蒸汽冷却器(outer steam coolers,OSC)。采用单耗分析法分析了不同方案在不同负荷下的能耗分布。结果表明:方案1和方案2均能够有效降低回热抽汽过热度;与基准机组相比,方案1、方案2在较高负荷时具有节能优势,在低负荷时基准机组更有节能优势,因此对于700℃一次再热超超临界机组,best更适合较高负荷的机组。

Background: Athletes, coaches, sport psychology practitioners, and researchers suggest that mental toughness represents an important construct that is associated with athletic performance. Unfortunately, the absence of real-world performance as a dependent variable has limited our ability to substantiate this claim. The concern of a lack of ecologically valid measures of sports performance might be addressed by examining the relationship between mental toughness and sports performance using a standardized measure of personal best(PB) triathlon time and a validated unidimensional measure of mental toughness.Methods: Three hundred and sixteen triathletes completed the 8-item mental toughness index(MTI), reported their age, and provided a PB Olympic distance triathlon time and the total number of triathlons they had completed to date. Given that males are typically quicker than females, a standardized time was calculated by dividing the PB by the current Olympic record for gender; we also hypothesized that more experienced triathletes would report quicker PB times because of greater frequency and duration of training. Once we had controlled for gender and experience,we predicted that mental toughness would be negatively associated with triathlon time and the size of the relationship would be of a moderate magnitude.Results: Results revealed small-to moderate-sized negative relationships between both completed number of triathlons and mental toughness with standardized PB time.Conclusion: The hierarchical regression analysis showed that mental toughness provided a unique contribution to the variability in standardized Olympic triathlon PB after controlling for the total number of triathlons completed.

A review on the best practices in concrete pavement design and materials in wet-freeze climates similar to Michigan

The research presented in this paper aims to identify best practices of design and materials for concrete pavements in wet-freeze climates similar to the Michigan State. For the purposes of this paper, a best practice is a procedure that has been shown by field-validated research or experience to produce improved results and that is established or proposed as a standard suitable for widespread implementation. The local wet-freeze climate makes the requirements for Michigan's pavement system different from many other regions. Wetfreeze climates can result in various concrete pavement distress mechanisms such as thermally-induced cracking, freeze-thaw deterioration, accelerated cracking due to loss of support, frost heave, and material degradation. Therefore, appropriate procedures for design and material selection need to be selected to withstand high precipitation and freezing winter temperatures. Failure to take into account the climatic conditions may lead to inadequate or reduced pavement performance. However, utilizing appropriate techniques and materials could potentially improve the quality and increase the service life of the concrete pavement. Three design methods and five materials have been identified, and examples of their successful performance in wet-freeze climates are provided. In addition, the reasons that give them the superior performance in wet-freeze climates are discussed in detail.

With the rapid development of Web3 D technologies, sketch-based model retrieval has become an increasingly important challenge, while the application of Virtual Reality and 3 D technologies has made shape retrieval of furniture over a web browser feasible. In this paper, we propose a learning framework for shape retrieval based on two Siamese VGG-16 Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs), and a CNN-based hybrid learning algorithm to select the best view for a shape. In this algorithm, the AlexNet and VGG-16 CNN architectures are used to perform classification tasks and to extract features, respectively. In addition, a feature fusion method is used to measure the similarity relation of the output features from the two Siamese networks. The proposed framework can provide new alternatives for furniture retrieval in the Web3 D environment. The primary innovation is in the employment of deep learning methods to solve the challenge of obtaining the best view of 3 D furniture,and to address cross-domain feature learning problems. We conduct an experiment to verify the feasibility of the framework and the results show our approach to be superior in comparison to many mainstream state-of-the-art approaches.

Advances on bidirectional intelligence are overviewed along three threads,with extensions and new perspectives.The first thread is about bidirectional learning architecture,exploring five dualities that enable Lmser six cognitive functions and provide new perspectives on which a lot of extensions and particularlly flexible Lmser are proposed.Interestingly,either or two of these dualities actually takes an important role in recent models such as U-net,ResNet,and Dense Net.The second thread is about bidirectional learning principles unified by best yIng-yAng(IA)harmony in BYY system.After getting insights on deep bidirectional learning from a bird-viewing on existing typical learning principles from one or both of the inward and outward directions,maximum likelihood,variational principle,and several other learning principles are summarised as exemplars of the BYY learning,with new perspectives on advanced topics.The third thread further proceeds to deep bidirectional intelligence,driven by long term dynamics(LTD)for parameter learning and short term dynamics(STD)for image thinking and rational thinking in harmony.Image thinking deals with information flow of continuously valued arrays and especially image sequence,as if thinking was displayed in the real world,exemplified by the flow from inward encoding/cognition to outward reconstruction/transformation performed in Lmser learning and BYY learning.In contrast,rational thinking handles symbolic strings or discretely valued vectors,performing uncertainty reasoning and problem solving.In particular,a general thesis is proposed for bidirectional intelligence,featured by BYY intelligence potential theory(BYY-IPT)and nine essential dualities in architecture,fundamentals,and implementation,respectively.Then,problems of combinatorial solving and uncertainty reasoning are investigated from this BYY IPT perspective.First,variants and extensions are suggested for AlphaGoZero like searching tasks,such as traveling salesman problem(TSP)and attributed graph matching(AGM)that ar

Using an accurate density-function method, we explore the coexistence of the magnetism and conductivity in bis(ethylenediselena)-tetrathiafulvalene (best) with the paramagnetic hexacyanoferrate(Ⅲ) [Fe(CN)6]3-or the photochromic nitroprusside anion [Fe(CN)5NO]2-. The total and partial densities of states, and the atomic spin magnetic moments are calculated and discussed. It is found that the up- and down-spin total densities of states (DOS)are continuous in the vicinity of the Fermi level, there is overlap between the HOMO and LUMO in the up-spin subbands and the down-spin subbands, which reveals that these types of compounds have conductive properties. From the total and partial densities of states and atomic spin magnetic moments, it is shown that the spin magnetic moments of (best)4[Fe(CN)6] is mainly assembled at the iron atom and the cyanogen radical, and the spontaneous magnetic moments for (best)2[Fe(CN)5NO] come from iron atom, cyanogen and nitric oxide radical. To our best knowledge, it is the first theoretical study on the coexistence of the magnetism and conductivity of these compounds.

Nutrient management, water quality protection, and irrigation efficiency top the list of on-farm resource concerns indicating a need to address them through conservation strategies. A suite of best Management Practices (BMPs) has been identified and recommended, through several outlets, to farmers to ameliorate these concerns. This research examines the adoption of strategies that ameliorate the resource concerns as a joint decision, using a bivariate model. Data from the 2016 Nutrient Management Survey, conducted by the Louisiana Master Farmer Program, are used to examine the factors affecting adoption of these conservation practices. A bivariate probit regression found significant results for explanatory variables and emphasize the effect of perception regarding the role of on-farm practices, ownership of land, participation in conservation programs in the past, and producers educational attainment on the like-lihood of adopting the conservation practices. Implications for policy development and educational programs are discussed.
