To The Editor:Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease involving the sebaceous glands.It has an incidence of approximately 9.4%,often occurring in adolescents.[1]The disease itself and the scars left after treatment can cause psychological stress in adolescents and seriously affect patients’quality of life.[2]At present,skin care products,either alone or in combination with medical drugs,have become important means for treating acne.This single-center,single-blind(clinician-blind),masculine-paralleled,randomized study(Registration number:ChiCTR2100051398)evaluated the efficacy and safety of a cream containing octyl salicylic acid,salicylic acid,linoleic acid,nicotinamide,and piroctone olamine(Duo+,La Roche-Posay,Paris,France)alone and in combination with benzoyl peroxide(BPO,Galderma,Paris,France)for the treatment of mild-to-moderate acne.The research was approved by the Ethics Committee of Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital,China(No.2020-13 ke).All participants provided written informed consent.

Synthesis of ligand, α-oxo-pentanedioic acid benzoyl hydrazone (H2LPB), and its six rare earth (La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd and Er) complexes are reported. The composition and the properties of the complexes were characterized by element analysis, thermal analysis, UV, IR and H NMR spectra. Besides, relaxivity (R1) of Gd-complex has been determined by INVREC.Au program, using inversion recovery pulse sequences, R1=8.05 mmol ·L-1 · s-1. The acute toxicity of Gd-complex in animal has also been tested, and the median lethal dose (LD50) is equal to (468.2±30) mg/kg.

Here,a new designed core/satellite gold nanoprobe was developed for detecting trace mount of benzoyl peroxide(BPO) based on its deboronation.This gold nanoassembly(the BE-Au NPs_(12/65)) wa s constructed via borate ester formation between large 4-mercaptophenylboronic acid(MPBA) modified Au NPs(the MPBAAu NPs_(65),as cores) and small dopamine modified AuNPs(the D PA-AuNPs_(12),as satellites).Particularly,upon addition of BPO,it would trigger the deboronation for the BE-AuNPs_(12/65) probes accompanying with distinct color changes from blue,purple to wine red,which implied the disassembly of the core/satellite nanostructure after the breakage of carbon to boron chemical bond.By measuring the absorbance ratio at 665 nm and 545 nm,quantification of BPO was achieved in the range of 10.0-100.0 nmol/L,which could also be easily observed by naked eyes.The nanoprobe utilized a boronate deprotection mechanism and the LSPR properties of Au NPs to provide high selectivity for detecting BPO over similar ROS/RNS with the limit of detection as low as 7.2 nmol/L.The practical applicability of this assay was verified through successful determining BPO in flour samples,which demonstrated its great potentials in food safety field.

A series of subshtuted 3'-N-benzoyl taxol analogs [7a￣i] were synthesized by Schotten-Baumann acylation of the key intermediate, 13-O-[(2'R, 3' S) -3'-phenylisoserinoyl]baccatin Ⅲ[6]. Evaluation of the newly ￣ derivatives for cytotoxicity against KB Cell line revealed that electrondon-donating groups at the para position (such as -CH3, -OCH3, etc.) havepositive effect on achvity, while electron-attracting groups(such as -NO2, -Br, etc.) have negativeeffect. Sterically hindered substituents at the ortho position could dramatically reduce the activity.But none of the analogs had higher cytotoxicity than taxol.

使用ＣＡＳＡＣ软件中的逐步回归和改进的神经网络（ＡＮＮ）方法，对Ｎ．Ｏｉｋａｗａ等研究合成的杀幼（虫）剂进行了计算．其中，４４个化合物作为训练基，１１个化合物作为未知样本，获得良好的预报结果，与Ｎ．Ｏｉｋａｗａ等使用Ｈａｎｓｃｈ方法计算所取得的结论一致．不同的是本文所使用的物化参数除Ｂ５和Ｌ１之外，都能够方便的计算．改进的神经网络（ＡＮＮ）方法提高了模型质量和预报结果的精度．

Summary of main observation and conclusion OSW-1 is a well-known natural saponin with potent antitumor activities.We have designed and pre-pared a small library of 22 OSW-1 analogues with a variety of p-acylamino-benzoyl groups installed at C2"of the xylose residue,wherein a regioselective(1>3)-glycosylation of arabinoside 3,4-diol has been achieved by manipulatian of the protecting groups on the imidate donors.Bioassays lead to new structure-activity relationships as well as two aplicable fluorescent probes,which are found to localize to lysosomes in HeLa cells and could be used in further antitumor mechanism studies of OSW-1 in living cells.

The activities and stabilities of the polymer-bound palladium complexes fordecarbonyl-arylation were investigated in this paper.It was found that the activities ofpolymer-bound complexes are comparable to those of their homogeneous counterparts.Among the catalysts examined,the sulfur-containing polymer-bound palladium complexeshave high activity and better stability than the phosphine-,amine-and nitrile-containingpolymerie palladium catalysts.Experimental work was undertaken to evaluate the possibleside reactions.The factors which caused the catalyst deactivation were discussed and the in-flucnce of experimental parameters on the reaction was studied as well.
