Schisandra chinensis,a widely used Chinese herbal medicine,was considered as central nervous system(CNS)drug for years.Both ethanol extracts(EES)and water extracts(WES)of it were applied clinically.Unfortunately,the difference of their efficacy and even effective material foundation of S.chinensis remains obscure.In this study,to explore the active constituents of S.chinensis,we compared pharmacodynamics and chemical profiles in vitrolin vivo of EES/WES for the first time using multiple chemical analysis,pharmacological and data processing approaches.It was proved that there was no significant difference in the anti-depressive effects between WES and EES.However,the contents of most components in vitro and in plasma were higher in EES than those in WES,which was unconvincing for their similar efficacy.Therefore,we further explored components of S.chinensis targeted onto brain and the results showed that 5 lignans were identified with definite absorptivity respectively both in EES and WES caused by the limitation of blood-brain barrier.Moreover,bioinformatic analysis predicted their anti-depressive action.Above all,the systematic strategy screened 5 brain-targeted effective substances of S.chinensis and it was suggested that exploring the components into nidi would promote the studies on herbs effective material basis.

Crop diseases are major factors responsible for substantial yield losses worldwide,which affects global food security.The use of resistance(R)genes is an effective and sustainable approach to controlling crop diseases.Here,we review recent advances on R gene studies in the major crops and related wild species.Current understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying R gene activation and signaling,and susceptibility(S)gene-mediated resistance in crops are summarized and discussed.Furthermore,we propose some new strategies for R gene discovery,how to balance resistance and yield,and how to generate crops with broad-spectrum disease resistance.With the rapid development of new genome-editing technologies and the availability of increasing crop genome sequences,the goal of breeding next-generation crops with durable resistance to pathogens is achievable,and will be a key step toward increasing crop production in a sustainable way.

In 2017,American College of Cardiology(ACC)/American Heart Association(AHA)et al.jointly released the latest guidelines for adult hypertension,exactly including prevention,diagnosis,assess and treatment,in which blood pressure levels greater than 130/80 mm Hg were defined as hypertension[1].Based on these modified guidelines,the morbidity of hypertension in US increased from 32%to 46%.

The two-dimensional (2D) Eshelby tensors are discussed. Based upon the complex variable method, an integrity basis of ten isotropic invariants of the 2D Eshelby tensors is obtained. Since an integrity basis is always a polynomial functional basis, these ten isotropic invariants are further proven to form an irreducible polynomial functional basis of the 2D Eshelby tensors.

The independent hypothesis between frames in vocal effect(VE) recognition makes it difficult for frame based spectral features to describe the intrinsic temporal correlation and dynamic change information in speech phenomena. A novel VE detection method based on echo state network(ESN) is proposed. The input sequences are mapped into a fixed-dimensionality vector in high dimensional coding space by reservoir of the ESN. Then, radial basis function(RBF) networks are employed to fit the probability density function(pdf) of each VE mode by using the vectors in the high dimensional coding space. Finally, the minimum error rate Bayesian decision is employed to judge the VE mode. The experiments which are conducted on isolated words test set achieve 79.5% average recognition accuracy, and the results show that the proposed method can overcome the defect of the independent hypothesis between frames effectively.

In this paper, the problem of high mobility channel estimation in the Long-Term Evolution for Railway (LTE-R) communication system is investigated. By using a basis Expansion Model (BEM), the channel impulse response is modeled as the sum of several basis functions multiplied by coefficients. By estimating the basis function coefficients, the fast time-varying channel can be approximated. In order to reduce the estimation error resulting from the high frequency basis function, the Generalized Complex Exponential BEM (GCE-BEM) is modified to form an Improved GCE-BEM (IGCE-BEM) by adding a correction coefficient to the basis function. Moreover, an Improved Baseline Tilting (IBT) method is proposed to reduce the Gibbs effect. In addition, linear interpolation, Gauss interpolation, and three-order Hermite interpolation are adopted to obtain the channel impulse response at non pilot locations based on the channel estimation results at pilot positions. The simulation results show that the IGCE-BEM outperforms the CE-BEM and GCE-BEM in terms of the Normalized Mean Squared Error (NMSE). The IB T method is better than the BT method in reducing the Gibbs effect. In addition, combined with the IBT, the IGCE-BEM also has low NMSE under high moving speed and high noise power. The performance of the threeorder Hermite interpolation method is higher than that of the linear interpolation and Gauss interpolation approaches.

The machining precision not only depends on accurate mechanical structure but also depends on motion compensation method. If manufacturing precision of mechanical structure cannot be improved, the motion compensation is a reasonable way to improve motion precision. A motion compensation method based on neural network of radial basis function(RBF) was presented in this paper. It utilized the infinite approximation advantage of RBF neural network to fit the motion error curve. The best hidden neural quantity was optimized by training the motion error data and calculating the total sum of squares. The best curve coefficient matrix was got and used to calculate motion compensation values. The experiments showed that the motion errors could be reduced obviously by utilizing the method in this paper.

Objective: To construct gene co-occurrence network of hypertension and liver-fire hyperactivity syndrome, to investigate the biological basis of hypertension and liver-fire hyperactivity syndrome and the characteristics of the molecular network from gene level.Materials and Methods: Applying Gen CLip 2.0 online platform to retrieve the up-to-date literature referred to essential hypertension from PubMed database, cluster the abnormal expression of essential hypertension-related genes and analyze their function, combining Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes-pathway analysis to investigate the closely related genes and the signaling molecules.Based on the genes closely related to hypertension, standard diagnostic symptoms of liver-fire hyperactivity were used as keywords to conduct hypertension liver-fire hyperactivity-related gene cluster analysis.Results: The top 1000 genes of essential hypertension were retrieved from GenCLip 2.0 online platform, which mainly clustered in the regulation of ambulatory blood pressure, regulation of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system(RAAS), and sympathetic nervous system activity, as well as endothelial dysfunction; the closely related genes of hypertension with liver-fire hyperactivity are related to RAAS, gene REN, angiotensin converting enzyme, angiotensinogen, and cytochrome P450 family CYP2D6.Conclusion: A combination of literature mining and data mining can construct the gene network of hypertension and the syndrome-related genes, which provides a new method for the study of the biological basis of hypertension from the genetic level.
