In this article, we construct a triangle-growing network with tunable clusters and study the social balance dynamics in this network. The built network, which could reflect more features of real communities, has more triangle relations than the ordinary random-growing network. Then we apply the local triad social dynamics to the built network. The effects of the different cluster coefficients and the initial states to the final stationary states are discussed. Some new features of the sparse networks are found as well.

In social networks, opinions diffusion often leads to relationships evolution. Then changes of relationships result in the change of balance degree of social system. We simulate the opinion diffusion on Barabasi & Albert (BA) network and Watts & Strogatz (WS) network to study the effects of the two types of networks, dynamical parameters and structural parameters on the balance degree of system. We employ the spectral analysis to quantify the balance degree of system before and after opinion propagation. The result reveals that it is very similar effect of BA networks and WS networks on it. However, it is opposite effects between dynamical parameters and structural parameters. The balance degree of system is proportional to the two dynamical factors (P,Q) at initial state and always inversely proportional to the two structural factors (,Pne) at initial and convergence state.

A Faraday isolator is shown to develop a temperature difference between its input and output, but still complies with the second law when all the heat carriers, in this case, photons are homogeneous and indistinguishable. This result is a consequence of the H-theorem which assumes homogeneity and indistinguishability of particles. However, when a thermal feedback path is added, in which heat carriers have physical properties different from the photons in the isolator, then a heterogeneous system is formed not covered by the H-theorem, and the second law is violated.

Objective To investigate the effects of artesunatetreatment on chronic graft-versus-host disease(cGVHD). Methods Recipient BALB /c mice received8 × 106 bone marrow cells with 8 × 106 spleen cells fromB10D2 mice. Artesunate solubilized in acetone was injectedintraperitoneally every day at a dose of 1 mg /kg onDay 28 after BMT. The clinical scores,survival and histopathologicaldamage were analyzed. The frequency ofTh17 and Tregs in PB and spleens from the mice wereevaluated by flow cytometry. In addition,CD4 + T cellsfrom the spleens of mice were cultured in vitro,thenstimulated with artesunate,the frequency of Th17 andTregs in these splenocytes were evaluated by flow cytometry.

A recently published estimate of Earth’s global warming trend is 0.63 ± 0.28 W/m2, as calculated from ocean heat content anomaly data spanning 1993-2008. This value is not representative of the recent (2003-2008) warming/cooling rate because of a “flattening” that occurred around 2001-2002. Using only 2003-2008 data from Argo floats, we find by four different algorithms that the recent trend ranges from –0.010 to –0.161 W/m2 with a typical error bar of ±0.2 W/m2. These results fail to support the existence of a frequently-cited large positive computed radiative imbalance.

Dissipation, power due to the shear stress at the wall and the boundary layer thickness corresponding to the unsteady flow of a second grade fluid, due to a constantly accelerating plate, are established in exact and approximate forms. The changing of the kinetic energy with time is also determined from the energetic balance. Exact expressions of the same entities for Newtonian fluids are recovered as limiting cases of general results.

The importance and necessity of implementing the balance system of farmland requisition and compensation are *** changing path of the balance system of farmland requisition-compensation is *** addition,the problems exist in the implementation of the balance system of farmland requisition-compensation are analyzed as well,covering the increasing demands on land in the process of economic development;the serious phenomenon of wasting land in urban construction;part of farmlands should be revoked from the perspective of ecological construction and environmental protection,which lead to the shortage of reserved farmland and it is hard to implement the balance system of farmland requisition-compensation;the problems of "occupying more but compensating less,occupying good land but compensating bad land" are universal;the development and reclamation of farmlands have taken certain threats to ecological environment;the differences of various regions have not been taken into consideration in implementing the balance system of farmland *** notes on the developing trend of farmlands requisition-compensation balance system are put *** farmlands should be occupied after being compensated first,so as to ensure the dynamic balance of the total amount of farmlands;the government should encourage the improvement of farmland with mediocre and low output,so as to enhance its production capability;the potential of urban and rural construction land use should be fully developed and the occupation of farmland should be reduced as few as possible;various aspects should be cooperated to increase the possibility of requisition-compensation among different regions.
