Characteristic analysis of hydraulic hybrid vehicle based on limit cycle

The theory of limit cycles was applied to hydraulic hybrid vehicle (HHV) to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the system. The exact mathematical models based on configuration diagram of HHV were built to study on equilibrium points, nonexistence of limit cycle and stability of equilibrium points. The analysis showed that if the Young's modulus of fluid is neglected, the equilibrium points of the system will be distributed on both sides of the initial function. In addition, there is a unique equilibrium point according to the practical signification of the system parameters. The nonexistence analysis showed that there is no limit cycle for the system, no matter how the viscosity coefficient B changes. The stability analysis of equilibrium points showed that the system is asymptotically stable about the equilibrium point at B≥0 and the equilibrium point is the center point of the system at B=0. Finally, the phase diagrams of global topological structure of HHV system were entirely described according to qualitative analysis of the singular points at infinity.

Advanced ECU Software Development Method for Fuel Cell Systems

The electronic control unit （ECU） in electrical powered hybrid and fuel cell vehicles is exceedingly complex. Rapid prototyping control is used to reduce development time and eliminate errors during software development. This paper describes a high-efficiency development method and a flexible tool chain suitable for various applications in automotive engineering. The control algorithm can be deployed directly from a Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow environment into the ECU hardware together with an OSEK real-time operating system （RTOS）. The system has been successfully used to develop a 20-kW fuel cell system ECU based on a Motorola PowerPC 555 （MPC555） microcontroller. The total software development time is greatly reduced and the code quality and reliability are greatly enhanced.

In order to reduce wear and energy consumption of the extended-range electric vehicle(EREV) or hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) under low temperature,the optimized control strategies for auxiliary power unit(APU) cold-start and warm-up process was *** the research process,the influence of engine temperature on efficiency and the relation between the rate of temperature rise and engine working conditions under different temperature was measured through experimental ***,with the overall energy consumption through the warm-up process set as the optimization target,a dynamic programming control model was set up and got the optimization power output *** show that,this control strategy can reduce fuel consumption and time needed for warming up respectively.

In order to improve the practicality and accuracy of simulation on vehicle traction performance,the simulation models of tire on vehicle traction performance are built by using three-dimensional finite element analysis,and on this basis the traction performance characteristics on entire vehicle are *** at a four-wheel-drive vehicle,the mathematical models about the accelerated process are built,the dynamic simulations are carried out in Simulink simulation environment,and a comparative analysis with the simulation results on bilinear tire model is put *** results of the analysis show that:it can effectively reflect the vehicle actual accelerated process by the simulation analysis of vehicle traction performance in which the tire models are built by the tire numerical calculation *** the simulation analysis for accelerated process of the typical four-wheel-drive vehicle,the effectiveness of this method is verified.
