＜正＞Objective We hypothesized that the auditory intensity could influence the auditory attention *** behavioral and electrophysiological performances under different auditory attention levels were investigated and compared. Methods This research included behavioral analysis,*** accuracy and reaction time（RT）,and electrophysiological analysis of event-related potential（ERP）.The experiments included two parts:（1） The participants were requested to identify the 310ms and 190ms auditory stimuli under different auditory intensities to determine the relation between the audio intensity and the auditory attention *** levels of intensities were tested,i.e.15dB,20dB,25dB,30dB,35dB, 40dB,45dB,50dB,55dB,60dB and 70dB.（2） In the second part of the experiment,we investigated the behavioral performances and electrophysiological data for the same auditory stimuli under different auditory *** stimuli of 20dB and 60dB were selected respectively as the major stimuli to induce different levels of auditory attention,in both cases,the 70dB stimuli were applied as the minor *** participants were asked to judge the duration of all auditory ***（1） The behavioral results showed that participants could easily identify the duration under 60dB,while the accuracy falls significantly（P＜0.05） under 20dB even if the participants made their best ***,we hypoth- esized that auditory attention level under 20dB should be higher than that under 60dB.（2） The behavioral and electrophysiological results showed that the RT to the same task is shorter under high auditory attention level than low auditory attention level,and the amplitudes of both P300 and P200 components in ERP waveforms elicited by the same stimuli are also larger under high auditory attention level than that under low *** These results implied that participants could use more mental resources to accomplish an auditory duration discrimination task under high audito
