Using Quantile Regression Approach to Analyze Price Movements of agricultural products in China

This paper studies how the price movements of pork,chicken and egg respond to those of related cost factors in short terms in Chinese *** employ a linear quantile approach not only to explore potential data heteroscedasticity but also to generate confidence bands for the purpose of price stability *** then evaluate our models by comparing the prediction intervals generated from the quantile regression models with in-sample and out-of-sample *** monthly data from January 2000 to October 2010,we observed these findings：（i） the price changes of cost factors asymmetrically and unequally influence those of the livestock across different quantiles;（ii） the performance of our models is robust and consistent for both in-sample and out-of-sample forecasts;（iii） the confidence intervals generated from 0.05th and 0.95th quantile regression models are good methods to forecast livestock price fluctuation.

The micromechanical properties of agricultural products can be used to formulate simulation models and optimize processing parameters for harvest,packaging,and *** this study,a detection platform was designed for conducting mechanical tests on different specimens at the tissue *** system provided controllable and precise displacements;the relative error was less than±1.0%.The displacement and force measurements were *** tests of apple parenchyma tissues were conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed *** stress-strain curves of the specimens and the micrographs of the microstructures can be obtained simultaneously during the *** proposed platform has the capability to test mechanical properties and obtain micro behaviors of agricultural products at the tissue level,which helps in studying the failure mechanism of agricultural products under external loading.

The competitiveness of a country’s agricultural products is not only related to its capacity to export agricultural products,but also to the sustainability of its agricultural *** to improve the international competitiveness of a country’s agricultural products while maintaining the sustainability of its agricultural sector is a practical problem of great urgency for a country with a large agricultural sector such as *** this in mind,this study should have a considerable policy and practical *** used two evaluation indices,namely trade competitiveness(TC)index and revealed comparative advantage(RCA)index,to measure and analyze the international competitiveness of six China’s representative agricultural products,i.e.,live pigs,live chickens,live cattle,apples,tea,and beer,and to examine the changing trends of these products’competitiveness during *** results indicate that the export competitiveness of China’s agricultural products is weak and likely to deteriorate ***,some traditional agricultural products with distinctive regional characteristics,for example,tea and live pigs,are relatively strong *** this end,China should vigorously promote the production and foreign trade in traditional agricultural products with distinctive regional *** the same time,comprehensive measures should be taken to enhance the international competitiveness of disadvantaged agricultural products.

With the worsening of environment, many countries pay more attention to the environmental protection. Green （organic） trade barrier gradually attracts more attention to the non-tariff barrier in the international trade. However, according to the economic levels of different countries, great differences exist in environment standards of these countries which resulted in the appearance of green trade barriers as trade protection. This study classified the connotations and characteristics of green trade barrier, gave the descriptions on the development and type of green trade barrier, and analysed the influences on China＇s export and put forward some countermeasures which aimed at stimulating the development of our foreign trade.

With the frequent occurrence of agricultural product safety incidents in recent years, the agricultural products' quality safety has become more and more concerned by the people. The relevant subjects are the direct relationship with the quality safety of agricultural products, and play a key role in ensuring the quality safety of agricultural products. This paper analyzes the behavior performance of production subject, circulation subject, consumption subject, supervision subject on agricultural products' quality safety, and puts forward the following countermeasures to improve the quality safety of agricultural products according to their behavior performance: to regulate the production of agricultural products, to strengthen the management and control agricultural inputs, to improve the safety supervision system of agricultural products, to accelerate the development of new circulation subject, to actively cultivate and develop new types agricultural business, to accelerate the process of agricultural scale management, to establish the multiple supervision subject, and to make up the regulatory loopholes.

The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,especially since Chengdu was listed as an Integrated Pilot Zone for Cross-Border E-Commerce in 2016,has led to a rising trade value of agricultural products in the *** upward trend is also attributed to the China-Europe Railway Express and the Chengdu International Aviation Hub Integrated Functional Area,two infrastructure systems that have opened more international logistics channels for agricultural products in Sichuan ***,the development of cross-border logistics has failed to respond to the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural *** problem has given rise to longer delivery cycles,higher costs,and reduced product quality,hindering the development of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural ***,most research efforts are focused on selecting a logistics mode which has created an urgency is to establish a logistics *** that end,we must utilize the opportunities and preferential policies brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative to advance the establishment of a cross-border logistics system for agricultural products,which will create more channels for selling Sichuan’s agricultural products *** article analyzes the current situation of the cross-border logistics system for agricultural products produced by the province and studies the potential relationships between a logistics system and cross-border trade of agricultural *** seeks to build a logistics system that meets the demands of cross-border transactions using economic theories focused on cross-border e-commerce and *** a logistic system will help shorten long delivery cycles,cut delivery costs,and guarantee the quality of agricultural ***,it can contribute to the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce of agricultural products and solve problems in developing the agricultural products logistics system of Sichuan province.

Based on the understanding of agricultural products, transportation sites and transportation market, this paper puts forward the concept of agricultural product logistics system, and discusses the background of the system and provides recommendations for subsequent protection. Through the research of this paper, we explore the development countenneasures of agricultural products logistics under the background of low-carbon economy to guide the development of agricultural products logistics, improve the economic benefits of agricultural products, promote agricultural development and farmers＇ income. Finally, the paper discusses the optimization of economic and social environmental benefits, which will contribute to the construction of new socialist countuside in Henan province.

With China＇s increased export of agricultural products, the influence of nontariff barriers, especially technical barriers to trade （TBT） is becoming more severe. In this paper, the hierarchical structure of the influence factors of TBT on agricultural products is designed. Then these influence factors are analyzed with the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process （AHP）. Finally, countermeasures for the enterprises to tackle TBT axe put forward.
