Ion Accumulation, Water Relations and Osmotic adjustment in Atriplex argentina, A. crenatifolia, *** and A. nummularia under Saline Conditions

Salinity is a major stress that adversely affects growth and productivity in plants. There are species that tolerate this stresswithin the genus Atriplex. Four species, A. lampa, A. crenatifolia, A. nummularia and A. argentina were compared for their ionaccumulation and water relations under saline conditions. A greenhouse study was conducted by irrigating the four species with NaCIsolutions at concentrations 0%, 1%, 2% and 4% starting when plants were six months old. Plants were harvested 45 d after startingthe salinity treatments and analyzed for their ion contents. In the four Atriplex species, Na^＋ and Cl^- contents in plants increased, whileCa^2＋ and Mg^2＋ decreased with the increase of salinity in the irrigation solution. The results suggested that A. argentina and *** were able to maintain a higher leaf relative water content （RWC） at low leaf water potential, which was associated witha greater capacity of osmotic adjustment. A. lampa showed lower ion accumulation and minor osmotic adjustment than the otherspecies. It can be concluded that the accumulation of ions favors the lower osmotic potential and contributes to osmotic adjustment inthese halophytes.

A Pilot Study about Recurrence of Cancer： Impact ofPsychosocial Factors on Patients＇ adjustment

The need to prevent cancer leads the authors to propose three innovative courses of cancer as categories of disease. Theobjectives of the research are to study the impact of different factors on adaptation to the recurrence of cancer and to assess the qualityof life, the anxiety as a state and the depression as a state and the evolution of the disease on a period of three months. During thislongitudinal and prospective study, the author met 32 subjects after announcing the recurrence of their cancer, and saw again 21 of them,three months later. In two times of the study, the author made fill out several questionnaires concerning various variables. The mainresults allow showing that the majority of the subjects did not present new recurrence of cancer and that the use of the Fighting spiritstrategy is representative of them. The author＇s linear regressions and the author＇s comparisons of averages allowed the authors severalrelations about to different categories of disease. Supporting therapies and management programs for stress would be beneficial for thepatients who have recurrence of their cancer.

Improving Adaptive Learning Rate of BP Neural Network for the Modelling of 3D Woven Composites Using the Golden Section Law

Focused on various BP algorithms with variable learning rate based on network system error gradient, a modified learning strategy for training non-linear network models is developed with both the incremental and the decremental factors of network learning rate being adjusted adaptively and dynamically. The golden section law is put forward to build a relationship between the network training parameters, and a series of data from an existing model is used to train and test the network parameters. By means of the evaluation of network performance in respect to convergent speed and predicting precision, the effectiveness of the proposed learning strategy can be illustrated.

From the view of supply and demand interaction which is common in the social economy, this article analyzes the economic construction and character of China's ‘ textile · garment' industry, represented by Shanghai,Research shows that industrial construction backwardness hinders China's ‘ textile· garment' industry development, which features four bottlenecks in supply and demand interaction in ‘ textile· garment' *** key of optimizing the construction and quality of supply and denand interaction in ‘textile· garment'industry is to adjust industrial construction, break the bottlenecks, establish Shanghai as international fashion center, open middle and small size textile processing area with several levels, attach importance to scientific and technology creation and development combined with production, learning and research, and take part in domestic and international maket competition by high added value product, technology and marketing network.
