In this study,an adaptive asymptotic tracking control problem is considered for stochastic nonlinear systems with unknown backlash-like *** utilizing backstepping technology and bound estimation approach,an adaptive asymptotic tracking control scheme is designed,where fuzzy systems are applied to approximate unknown function terms,the effect of hysteresis and stochastic disturbances is compensated *** proposed scheme ensures that the tracking error can asymptotically converge to zero in probability and all signals of the closed-loop system are bounded almost ***,the effectiveness of the control scheme is verified by giving a simulation example.

Chattering free adaptive fuzzy terminal sliding mode control for second order nonlinear system

A novel fuzzy terminal sliding mode control （FTSMC） scheme is proposed for position tracking of a class of second-order nonlinear uncertain system. In the proposed scheme, we integrate input-output linearization technique to cancel the nonlinearities. By using a function-augmented sliding hyperplane, it is guaranteed that the output tracking error converges to zero in finite time which can be set arbitrarily. The proposed scheme eliminates reaching phase problem, so that the closed-loop system always shows invariance property to parameter uncertainties. fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown system functions and switch item. Robust adaptive law is proposed to reduce approximation errors between true nonlinear functions and fuzzy systems, thus chattering phenomenon can be eliminated. Stability of the proposed control scheme is proved and the scheme is applied to an inverted pendulum system. Simulation studies are provided to confirm performance and effectiveness of the proposed control approach.

In this work, a decoupled adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control method for a class of underactuated systems with unknown terms is proposed. Firstly, the underactuated system is decoupled into two second-order subsystems, which are referred to the actuated and the underactuated parts, and the sliding manifold of the underactuated subsystem is implemented into the actuated subsystem through an inverse-tangent saturation function. Secondly, a sliding mode controller by decoupled method is designed. Then an adaptive fuzzy algorithm is presented to estimate the unknown terms of the system, moreover, the estimated upper bound of the fuzzy modeling error are solved by the adaptive algorithm. Finally, the stability analysis of th e closed-loop system is verified by the Lyapunov stability theory. Simulation results on the overhead crane system are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper investigates the cooperative tracking control problem for networked uncertain Lagrange systems on digraphs. By using the universal approximation capability of fuzzy logic systems, a distributed adaptive fuzzy tracking control protocol is proposed. Based on graph theory and Lyapunov theory, the convergence analysis for the proposed algorithm is provided. The development in this paper is suitable for the general directed communication topology, which is only required to have a spanning tree. Experimental results of distributed adaptive fuzzy control are demonstrated on a multi-robot platform to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

In this paper,two indirect adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control methods are proposed for the current tracking control of active power filter in view of the influence of the parameter perturbation and the unknown *** the first scheme,a fuzzy system is used to approximate the unknown dynamics in order to eliminate the dependence on the prior knowledge,and another fuzzy system is used to replace the switching control term to reduce the chattering *** the second scheme,based on feedback linearization idea,sliding mode controller for active power filter is designed *** the fuzzy systems are used to approximate unknown nonlinear functions and the lumped uncertainty which weaken the dependence on mathematical model of the system,effectively improving the system *** the two schemes,the compensation control term is designed based on the fuzzy approximation error estimation,which ensures the tracking performance of the closed loop *** studies in the MATLAB/SimPower Systems Toolbox demonstrate that the proposed control methods offer a good behavior in both steady state and transient operation during balanced and unbalanced load.

In order to alleviate the adverse effects of uncertainty in the active front steering（AFS） system, a new type of observer is designed in this paper that can simultaneously estimate the sideslip angle and disturbance, which provides the controller with accurate compensation and simplifies the system model. In addition, an active front steering controller based on adaptive fuzzy sliding mode（AFSM） is proposed, which uses adaptive algorithms to adjust and update fuzzy system parameters in real *** stability of the closed-loop AFS system based on the Lyapunov stability theory is analyzed. Compared with traditional PI control, the simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed AFSM control method.

An adaptive fuzzy generalized predictive control scheme for a class of multivariable linear systems with unknown parameters is presented. With this scheme, the vector composed of fuzzy logic systems is used to design predictive controller directly, and the unknown vector in controller and the estimated value of approximation error are adjusted by time-varying adaptation laws. It is proved that the proposed method can make the tracking error converge to a neighborhood of the origin.

A direct adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller is presented for trajectory tracking control of multi-link robots with model errors and uncertain disturbances. This approach adopts a global sliding mode manifold which eliminates reaching mode phase of normal sliding mode manifold and enforce the controlled system robustness. An adaptive fuzzy controller is designed to learn the robot model error and uncertain disturbances. So the control system can automatically track the maximum limit of model errors and disturbances, and reduces chattering of the controller. Prediction estimation for model errors and disturbances of the control system is not needed too. Moreover, the system stability is proved by Lyapunov principle. Simulation results verify the validity of the control scheme.
