Mobile edge computing(MEC) is a cloud server running at the edge of a mobile network, which can effectively reduce network communication delay. However, due to the numerous edge servers and devices in the MEC, there may be multiple servers and devices that can provide services to the same user simultaneously. This paper proposes a userside adaptive user service deployment algorithm ASD(adaptive Service Deployment) based on reinforcement learning algorithms. Without relying on complex system information, it can master only a few tasks and users. In the case of attributes, perform effective service deployment decisions, analyze and redefine the key parameters of existing algorithms, and dynamically adjust strategies according to task types and available node types to optimize user experience delay. Experiments show that the ASD algorithm can implement user-side decision-making for service deployment. While effectively improving parameter settings in the traditional Multi-Armed Bandit algorithm,it can reduce user-perceived delay and enhance service quality compared with other strategies.

The influence of ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)action on pancreatic blood flow(PBF)and the development of acute pancreatitis(AP)in laboratory rats is evaluated in vivo by using the laser speckle contrast imaging(LSCI).Additionally,the optical properties in norm and under condition of AP in rats were assessed using a modied integrating sphere spectrometer and inverse Monte Carlo(IMC)software.The results of the experimental study of microcirculation of the pancreas in 82 rats in the ischemic model are presented.The data obtained conrm the fact that local ischemia and changes in the blood°ow velocity of the main vessels cause and provoke acute pancreatitis.

In issues like hearing impairment,speech therapy and hearing aids play a major role in reducing the impairment.Removal of noise signals from speech signals is a key task in hearing aids as well as in speech therapy.During the transmission of speech signals,several noise components contaminate the actual speech components.This paper addresses a new adaptive speech enhancement(ASE)method based on a modified version of singular spectrum analysis(MSSA).The MSSA generates a reference signal for ASE and makes the ASE is free from feeding reference component.The MSSA adopts three key steps for generating the reference from the contaminated speech only.These are decomposition,grouping and reconstruction.The generated reference is taken as a reference for variable size adaptive learning algorithms.In this work two categories of adaptive learning algorithms are used.They are step variable adaptive learning(SVAL)algorithm and time variable step size adaptive learning(TVAL).Further,sign regressor function is applied to adaptive learning algorithms to reduce the computational complexity of the proposed adaptive learning algorithms.The performance measures of the proposed schemes are calculated in terms of signal to noise ratio improvement(SNRI),excess mean square error(EMSE)and misadjustment(MSD).For cockpit noise these measures are found to be 29.2850,-27.6060 and 0.0758 dB respectively during the experiments using SVAL algorithm.By considering the reduced number of multiplications the sign regressor version of SVAL based ASE method is found to better then the counter parts.

This paper deals with realizable adaptive algorithms of the nonlinear approximation with finite terms based on wavelets. We present a concrete algorithm by which we may find the required index set Am for the greedy algorithm Gm^P（., Ψ）. This makes the greedy algorithm realize the near best approximation in practice. Moreover, we study the efficiency of the finite-term approximation of another Mgorithm introduced by Birge and Massart.

The electromagnetic wave propagation in the chiral medium is governed by Maxwell＇s equations together with the Drude-Born-Fedorov （constitutive） equations. The problem is simplified to a two-dimensional scattering problem, and is formulated in a bounded domain by introducing two pairs of transparent boundary conditions. An a posteriori error estimate associated with the truncation of the nonlocal boundary operators is established. Based on the a posteriori error control, a finite element adaptive strategy is presented for computing the diffraction problem. The truncation parameter is determined through sharp a posteriori error estimate. Numerical experiments are included to illustrate the robustness and effectiveness of our error estimate and the proposed adaptive algorithm.

Traditional short-time fractional Fourier transform(STFrFT)has a single and fixed window function,which can not be adjusted adaptively according to the characteristics of fre-quency and frequency change rate.In order to overcome the shortcomings,the STFrFT method with adaptive window function is proposed.In this method,the window function of STFrFT is ad-aptively adjusted by establishing a library containing multiple window functions and taking the minimum information entropy as the criterion,so as to obtain a time-frequency distribution that better matches the desired signal.This method takes into account the time-frequency resolution characteristics of STFrFT and the excellent characteristics of adaptive adjustment to window func-tion,improves the time-frequency aggregation on the basis of eliminating cross term interference,and provides a new tool for improving the time-frequency analysis ability of complex modulated sig-nals.

Network densification is envisioned as one of the key enabling technologies in the next generation and beyond wireless networks to satisfy the demand of high coverage and capacity whilst deliver an ultra-reliable low latency communication services especially to the users on the move.One of the fundamental tasks in wireless networks is user association.In the case of ultra-dense vehicular networks,due to the dense deployment and small coverage of the eNodeBs,there may be more than one eNodeB that may simultaneously satisfy the conventional maximum radio signal strength user association criteria.In addition to this,the spatial-temporal vehicle distribution in dynamic environments contribute significantly towards the rapidly changing radio environment that substantially impacts the user association,therefore,the network performance and user experience.This paper addresses the problem of user association in dynamic environments by proposing intelligent user association approach,variable-reward,quality-aware Q-learning(VR-QAQL)that has an ability to strike a balance between the number of handovers per transmission and system performance whilst a guaranteed network quality of service is delivered.The VR-QAQL technique integrates the control-theoretic concepts and the reinforcement learning approach in an LTE uplink,using the framework of an urban vehicular environment.The algorithm is assessed using large-scale simulation on a highway scenario at different vehicle speeds in an urban setting.The results demonstrate that the proposed VR-QAQL algorithm outperforms all the other investigated approaches across all mobility levels.
