In this paper, synchronization for a class of uncertain fractional-order neural networks with external disturbances is discussed by means of adaptive fuzzy control. fuzzy logic systems, whose inputs are chosen as synchronization errors, are employed to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions. Based on the fractional Lyapunov stability criterion, an adaptive fuzzy synchronization controller is designed, and the stability of the closed-loop system, the convergence of the synchronization error, as well as the boundedness of all signals involved can be guaranteed. To update the fuzzy parameters, fractional-order adaptations laws are proposed. Just like the stability analysis in integer-order systems, a quadratic Lyapunov function is used in this paper. Finally, simulation examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

＜正＞An innovative adaptive fuzzy controller based on IMS algorithm is proposed in this paper. It is also apply to the suspension copolymerization of styrene-polystyrene temperature control system. Simulation results show that the improved fuzzy controller is rapid adaptive to the changes of controlled parameters. The controllability is much better than normal fuzzy controller.

＜正＞According to the character of the hydroelectric units with hydraulic interconnection in nonlinear condition,a nonlinear dynamic model is presented and an adaptive fuzzy controller is also designed based on this *** new model is useful in representing the modeling and non-modeling characteristic of the hydroelectric units with hydraulic *** adaptive fuzzy controller used in unit’s normal working state can guarantee the stability of units. When any unit’s guide vane opening is changing sharp,the controller can compensate for the state of the other *** parallel calculation can make the controller substitute normal PID hydraulic turbine governor which is distributed in each unit independently,and it provides a new solution for the control design of modern water power *** results show this method’s practicability and effectiveness.

Large-scale wind turbine generator systems have strong nonlinear multivariable characteristics with many uncertain factors and disturbances. Automatic control is crucial for the efficiency and reliability of wind turbines. On the basis of simplified and proper model of variable speed variable pitch wind turbines, the effective wind speed is estimated using extended Kaiman filter. Intelligent control schemes proposed in the paper include two loops which operate in synchronism with each other. At below-rated wind speed, the inner loop adopts adaptive fuzzy control based on variable universe for generator torque regulation to realize maximum wind energy capture. At above-rated wind speed, a controller based on least square support vector machine is proposed to adjust pitch angle and keep rated output power. The simulation shows the effectiveness of the intelligent control.

In this paper, an observer-based adaptive fuzzy backstepping control approach is proposed for a class of uncertain nonlinear stochastic systems with the immeasurable states and unknown-time-delays. The fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, and a fuzzy state observer is designed to estimate the unmeasured states. By combining the backstepping design technique, an observer-based adaptive fuzzy control method is developed. It is proved that the proposed adaptive fuzzy control approach can not only guarantee that all the signals of the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded（SGUUB） in mean square, but also the output of the system converge to a small neighborhood of the origin.
