Offshore drilling platform is a kind of offshore engineering structure,which provides operation and living space for the development and utilization of marine *** is a big difference between offshore drilling and land *** this process,the drilling platform floats on the fluctuating ocean surface,while the drill pipe carries the drill bit at depth of several *** the middle and deep sea areas,under the action of waves,the offshore drilling platform will not only sway around,but also rise and *** periodic upward and downward motion with wave will cause the periodic upward and downward motion of drill pipe *** upward and downward movement of drill pipe string will increase or decrease the hook tension,which will directly affect the change of bottom hole drilling *** the drilling pressure drops to a certain limit,the bit will be out of the bottom of the well and can not be drilled ***,in order to ensure the normal use of offshore drilling platform and improve drilling efficiency,it is necessary to adopt heave compensation system to reduce the relative movement of drill pipe string and seabed,and maintain constant tension load,reduce the impact of natural climate such as sea breeze,wave,current on drilling platform,and improve drilling efficiency and *** it can prolong the service life of drilling *** this paper,the working principle of offshore rig heave compensation system is given,and the design idea of the system is described in *** the speed control system lacks precise mathematical model and has the characteristics of non-linearity and variability,an ADRC control strategy is *** experimental results show that the controller can effectively control the compensation speed,has high control accuracy,strong antiinterference ability,is insensitive to parameter changes,and has a certain robustness.

heave compensation system is a new type of automatic control system accompanied by increasing offshore operation;its main purpose is to ensure marine equipment operation not affected by undulating limits, which can normally work under adverse sea conditions. This paper proposes a detection system with high performance, high precision control algorithm of the active heave compensation system, through a certain drive hydraulic system to heave compensation control strategy, make the crane heave motion of the amplitude of the heave motion of the ship amplitude greatly reduce, can overcome the ship due to the wave action in bad sea condition and the roll motion, trim movement, heave movement and the movement coupling influence each other, to maintain relatively stable and motion of the ship. This article presents the working principle of the heave compensation system, describes in detail the key technology of this kind of compensation system. To enhance control accuracy and disturbance resisting ability, fuzzy-PI controller for the parameter self-adjusting has been adopted in this system. The results of experiment show that this controller can make the compensation speed be automatically-controlled efficiently, and has a higher control accuracy, better disturbance-resisting ability, less sensitive to parameter changes, and better robustness.

Feasibility Study on Recovering Human-Occupied Vehicle with An Offshore Crane

Launching and recovering human-occupied vehicles(HOVs)has always been a challenging *** current recovery process requires staff to manually complete the tethering task,which is inefficient and endangers the lives of *** paper suggests moving the recovery position from the surface to underwater at approximately half the wavelength of the water depth(30−50 m underwater),where the HOV experiences less environmental *** ROV equipped with a ultra-short baseline beacon(USBL)and a manipulator was used to complete the tethering ***,a shackle customized to the shape of the manipulator’s gripper is fitted to the end of the cable to simplify the tethering *** investigate the dynamic response of recovering the HOV using this suggested method,a comprehensive numerical model is developed in this *** effects of wind,surface waves,ocean currents,and nonlinear interaction between the installation vessel and the HOV are quantitatively *** results show that the proposed recovery method can reduce the motion amplitude of the HOV and that the wave has the greatest influence on the dynamic response of the HOV during the recovery *** model provides better insight into the proposed HOV recovery method and confirms the effectiveness of the heave compensation *** proposed approach aims to enhance safety and operational efficiency by reducing direct human involvement in the recovery process and mitigating potential *** finding holds particular significance,especially in environmentally sensitive areas,where reducing the impact on the surrounding ecosystem is crucial.
