Application of Time Scale to Parameters Tuning of active disturbance rejection controller for Induction Motor

active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) has good performance in induction motor (IM) control system, but controller parameter is difficult to tune. A method of tuning ADRC parameter by time scale is analyzed. The IM time scale is obtained by theoretical analysis. Combining the relations between scale time and ADRC parameters, ADRC parameter tuning in IM vector control based stator flux oriented is obtained. This parameter tuning method is validated by simulations and it provides a new technique for tuning of ADRC parameters of IM.

According to problems of complex algorithm,multi-parameter and labor-intensive and time-consuming adjustment in the active disturbance rejection controller（ADRC）,on the basis of optimizing the structure of ADRC,this paper designs a compound ADRC based on radical basis function neural network（RBFNN）.The controller obtains the online adjustment information of ADRC parameters by using RBFNN to track the controlled object *** method is applied to a three-motor synchronous control system based on S7-300 PLC to build an experimental platform,and PLC programming language is adopted for algorithm implementation in order to perform the decoupling experiment of the speed and *** results show that the method can achieve the self-adjusting function of partial parameters and can decrease the *** can also improve the dynamic performance and steady state accuracy of the *** experimental results show that the method has practical application.

Simulation of a permanent magnet synchronous motor（PMSM） servo system which was based on active disturbance rejection controller（ADRC） was presented in this paper.A new Monte-Carlo method for parameter tuning was invented,which was based on different parameter values and their corresponding dynamic ***’s more,according to the simulation results of the servo system,the ADRC controller has advantages of speedy response,no overshoot,high accuracy and strong robustness against parameter variations and load ***,examples were provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the Monte-Carlo 3D tuning method,and it can significantly improve the design efficiency and lower the R＆D cost as well.

A novel approach to speed sensorless vector control system of asynchronous motor based on active disturbance rejection controller（ADRC）is presented in this *** the synchronously rotating reference frame,the equation of magnetizing current is a first order nonlinear state *** nonlinear part of the magnetizing current equation includes the rotor speed information,which can be regarded as the disturbance of magnetizing current loop.A speed observer based on ADRC is designed in this *** disturbance variation of magnetizing current loop is observed in real time by the ADRC speed *** rotor speed is then estimated from the observed disturbance *** results show that the rotor speed can be accuratelyestimated from 10r/min to 1500r/min with load or not.A good dynamic and static performance of the sensorless vector control system is achieved by this method.

Fractional Gradient Descent RBFNN for active Fault-Tolerant Control of Plant Protection UAVs

With the increasing prevalence of high-order systems in engineering applications, these systems often exhibitsignificant disturbances and can be challenging to model accurately. As a result, the active disturbance rejectioncontroller (ADRC) has been widely applied in various fields. However, in controlling plant protection unmannedaerial vehicles (UAVs), which are typically large and subject to significant disturbances, load disturbances andthe possibility of multiple actuator faults during pesticide spraying pose significant challenges. To address theseissues, this paper proposes a novel fault-tolerant control method that combines a radial basis function neuralnetwork (RBFNN) with a second-order ADRC and leverages a fractional gradient descent (FGD) *** integrate the plant protection UAV model’s uncertain parameters, load disturbance parameters, and actuatorfault parameters and utilize the RBFNN for system parameter identification. The resulting ADRC exhibits loaddisturbance suppression and fault tolerance capabilities, and our proposed active fault-tolerant control law hasLyapunov stability implications. Experimental results obtained using a multi-rotor fault-tolerant test platformdemonstrate that the proposed method outperforms other control strategies regarding load disturbance suppressionand fault-tolerant performance.

A novel control strategy of a variable-speed doubly-fed-induction-generator-based wind energy conversion system

This paper aims to address the issue of control of a variable-speed wind turbine based on doubly-fed induction generators. In this work,an effort is made to extract the maximum efficiency from a doubly-fed induction generator-based variable-speed wind turbine by controlling the rotor current. In the first step, a maximum power point tracking technique is used to extract the maximum power from theturbine. Then a stator-flux-oriented vector control strategy is employed to control the rotor-side current. Subsequently, a grid voltagevector-oriented control strategy is used to control the grid-side system of the grid-connected generator. Considering the nonlinearityand parameter uncertainty of the system, an active disturbance rejection controller with a sliding-mode-based extended-state observeris developed for the above-mentioned control strategies. Furthermore, the stability of the controller is tested and the performance of thecontroller is compared with the classical proportional-integral controller based on disturbance rejection, robustness and tracking capability in a highly non-linear wind speed variation scenario. Modelling, control and comparison are conducted in the MATLAB®/Simulink®environment. Finally, a real-time hardware set-up is presented using the dSPACE ds-1104 R&D processing board to validate the controlscheme. From the result of the experiments, it is seen that the proposed controller takes 10-15 control cycles to settle to its steady-statevalues, depending on the control loop, whereas the conventional proportional-integral controller takes 60-75 control cycles. As a result,the settling time for the proposed control scheme is shorter than that of the proportional-integral controller.

This paper proposed two strategies based on the active disturbance synchronous controller（ADRC） designed for the WECS based on the direct-driven PMSG, which maximize the power output by tacking the optimal tip-speed ratio in real time. Since the direct-driven PMSG is a nonlinear system with a large amount of uncertainties and rapid dynamic variations, it is difficult to execute the model-based control designs. Considering these characteristics of the system, a basic ADRC strategy is proposed, which has a good performance without a detailed mathematical model of the system. Furthermore, considering the large changes in system dynamics and disturbances may substantially degrade the performance of WECS, a model-compensation ADRC strategy is presented, which incorporate the available model information into an extended state observer（ESO） to compensate the lumped disturbance efficiently. Simulation results show that, compared with the traditional ADRC strategy, the proposed ADRC has a stronger robustness against uncertain dynamics and external disturbances.

Due to low efficiency of control surfaces and considerable wave-suction force, depth control of an underwater fligh vehicle, moving near surface with a low speed, is extremely hard. To improve depth control performance under such challenging scenarios, a depth-oriented driving scheme where independent bow and stern planes are combined to form virtually a singl actuator to generate pure vertical force for heave motion, is proposed. ADRC（active disturbance rejection controller）–base depth controller is then designed. Both the results of simulations and tank tests of depth control of an underwater flight vehicl verify the effectiveness of the driving scheme proposed.
