The female images in Shakespeare’s plays are diverse and colorful,showing the typological deformation value of *** brave female women in his plays,such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet,Portia in The Merchant of Venice,Cordelia in King Lear,are the same type and equivalent topological *** artistic terms,the three women of the same type with their own characteristics are the deformed topological space under the principle of equivalence,which is embodied vividly in the source *** thesis purposed to investigate whether the translation of zhu shenghao also reflected the equivalent deformation of Shakespeare’s original *** study texts the validity of the target text from the source text,proves the evaluation mechanism and function of topology in the process of translation and explains how the translation is equivalent to the original.

On Translator’s Subjectivity In Rewriting Theory——A Case ...

In China, there are many translated visions of William Shakespeare‘s Hamlet, among which zhu shenghao‘s vision has enjoyed much popularity. Based on rewriting theory put forward by Andre? Lefevere（安德烈·勒弗维尔）, this paper analyses rewriting phenomenon in zhu‘s vision, and explores translator‘s subjectivity under the influence of ideology, poetics and patronage to reveal reasons why zhu‘s translation is widely welcomed in China. And this paper finally finds that translator‘s subjectivity gives his room to rewrite the original text independently and creatively. Meanwhile, in order to make good and acceptable translation visions, translators should give a play of subjectivity by taking sociocultural factors in a given environment into consideration.
