window detection is a key component in many graphics and vision applications related to 3D city modeling and scene visualization.We present a novel approach for learning to recognize windows in a colored facade image.Rather than predicting bounding boxes or performing facade segmentation,our system locates keypoints of windows,and learns keypoint relationships to group them together into windows.A further module provides extra recognizable information at the window center.Locations and relationships of keypoints are encoded in different types of heatmaps,which are learned in an end-to-end network.We have also constructed a facade dataset with 3418 annotated images to facilitate research in this field.It has richly varying facade structures,occlusion,lighting conditions,and angle of view.On our dataset,our method achieves precision of 91.4%and recall of 91.0%under 50%IoU(intersection over union).We also make a quantitative comparison with state-of-the-art methods to verify the utility of our proposed method.Applications based on our window detector are also demonstrated,such as window blending.

Thera no stic nano particles are integrated systems useful for simulta neous diag nosis and imaging guided delivery of therapeutic drugs, with wide ranging pote ntial applicati ons in the clinic. Here we developed a thera no stic nan oparticle (~24 nm size by dynamic light scatteri ng) p-FE-PTX-FA based on polymeric micelle encapsulating an organic dye (FE) fluorescing in the 1,000-1,700 nm second near-infrared (NIR-Ⅱ) window and an an ti-ca ncer drug paclitaxel. Folic acid (FA) was conjugated to the nan oparticles to afford specific binding to molecular folate receptors on muri ne breast can cer 4T1 tumor cells. In vivo, the nan oparticles accumulated in 4T1 tumor through both passive and active targeting effect. Under an 808 nm laser excitation, fluorescence detection above 1,300 nm afforded a large Stokes shift, allowing targeted molecular imaging tumor with high signal to background ratios, reaching a high tumor to normal tissue signal ratio (T/NT) of (20.0±2.3). Further, 4T1 tumors on mice were completed eradicated by paclitaxel released from p-FE-PTA-FA within 20 days of the first injection. Pharmacokinetics and histology studies indicated p-FE-PTX-FA had no obvious toxic side effects to major organs. This represented the first NIR-Ⅱ theranostic age nt developed.

The wellbore stability of a vertical well through the sandstone reservoir layers of the Asmari oil-bearing formation in south-west Iran is investigated.The safe drilling-fluid density range for maintaining wellbore stability is determined and simulated using FLAC3 D software and a finite volume model established with drilled strata geomechanical features.The initiation of plastic condition is used to determine the safe mud weight window(SMWW)in specific sandstone layers.The effects of rock strength parameters,major stresses around the wellbore and pore pressure on the SMWW are investigated for this wellbore.Sensitivity analysis reveals that a reduction in cohesion and internal friction angle values leads to a significant narrowing of the SMWW.On the other hand,the reduction of pore pressure and the ratio between maximum and minimum horizontal stresses causes the SMWW to widen significantly.The ability to readily quantify changes in SMWW indicates that the developed model is suitable as a well planning and monitoring tool.

We report here geochemical data, U-Pb zircon ages, and Hf isotopes for the high-Mg diorites (HMDs), Nb-enriched basaltic porphyrys (NEBPs) and plagiogranites (PLAGs) in the Pingshui segment of the Jiangshan-Shaoxing suture zone. The HMDs are characterized by high Mg# (>60), high Na and LREE contents, depletion of HREE and HFSE, and pronounced positive εNd(t) values of 7.0 to 7.7, similar to some adakitic high-Mg andesites. The NEBPs are relatively Na-rich (Na2O/K2O>6) and display high abundances of P2O5 (~1.00%), TiO2 (~3.08%) and HFSE (e.g., Nb=9.53-10.27 ppm). Their Nd isotopic compositions (εNd(t)=6.8-8.0) are comparable to those of the HMDs. The PLAGs are metaluminous (A/CNK=0.84-0.89) and sodic (Na2O/K2O>10). Their depletion in HFSE (e.g., Nb, Ta) is consistent with 'SSZ-type' plagiogranite. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating yields an age of 932±7 Ma for the HMD, 916±6 Ma for the NEBP, and 902±5 Ma for the PLAG, respectively, indicating that they were products of early Neoproterozoic magmatism. The PLAGs exhibit relatively high zircon Hf isotopes and positive εHf(t) values of 11.0 to 16.2, consistent with their Nd isotopic data (εNd(t)=7.5-8.4). Such features are similar to those of oceanic plagiogranites in ophiolites and distinct from those of crust-derived granites. The PLAGs were most likely derived from partial melting of subducted oceanic crust in an active continental margin. Considering these results in the context of the regional geology, we suggest that a slab window in the subducting oceanic crust between the Yangtze Block and Cathaysia Block was possibly the principal cause for the unique arc magmatism in the area. The upwelling asthenosphere below the slab window may have provided significant thermodynamic conditions.

Diuretic window hypothesis in cirrhosis: Changing the point of view

Since the 1970s,non-selective beta-blockers(NSBB)have been used to prevent variceal upper bleeding in advanced cirrhotic patients.However,several recent studies have raised the doubt about the benefit of NSBB in end-stage cirrhotic patients.In fact,they suggested a detrimental effect in these patients that even reduced survival.All of these studies have been assembled to compose the“window therapy hypothesis”,in which NSBB would have traditional indication to be initiated to prevent variceal upper bleeding;however,treatment should be stopped(or not be initiated)in patients with end-stage cirrhosis.NSBB would reduce the cardiac reserve of these patients,worsening systemic perfusion and prognosis.However,it should be emphasized that these studies present important bias issues,and their results also suggested that diuretic treatment may also be behind the effects observed.In this opinion review,we changed the point of view from NSBB to diuretic treatment,based on a physiopathogenic approach of circulatory parameters of cirrhotic patients studied,and based on diuretic effect in blood pressure lowering and in other hypervolemic disease,as heart failure.We suggest a“diuretic window hypothesis”,composed by an open window in hypervolemic phase,an attention window when patient present in a normal plasma volume phase,and a closed window during the plasma hypovolemic phase.

A 50 mA CW deuteron RFQ is being built for a joint 973 project between Peking University and the Institute of Modern Physics. This RFQ adopts a high-frequency window-type structure. To study its RF properties and to validate the reliability of an electromagnetic simulation, two full-length aluminum models with tuners were built in succession. RF measurements were obtained from the test bench and compared to the simulations, including frequencies, quality factors, and electric fields of different modes and the field in aperture. Through field tuning, the maximal field unflatness for a single quadrant and the average asymmetry of four quadrants were reduced from 8.7% and ± 3.6% to 5.8% and ± 1.7%, respectively.Moreover, a tuning method of adjusting the gap distance between the endplates and the vanes was also studied in this paper.

The Hanning self-convolution window (HSCW) is proposed in this paper. And the phase difference correction algorithm based on the discrete spectrum and the HSCW is given. The HSCW has a low peak side lobe level, a high side lobe roll-off rate, and a simple spectrum representation. Hence, leakage errors and harmonic interferences can be considerably reduced by weighting samples with the HSCW, the parameter estimation by the HSCW-based phase difference correction algorithm is free of solving high order equations, and the overall method can be easily implemented in embedded systems. Simulation and application results show that the HSCW-based phase difference correction algorithm can suppress the impacts of fundamental frequency fluctuation and white noise on harmonic parameter estimation, and the HSCW is advantageous over existing combined cosine windows in terms of harmonic analysis performance.

Continuous response of range query on steaming data provides useful information for many practical applications as well as the risk of privacy disclosure.The existing research on differential privacy streaming data publication mostly pay close attention to boosting query accuracy,but pay less attention to query efficiency,and ignore the effect of timeliness on data weight.In this paper,we propose an effective algorithm of differential privacy streaming data publication under exponential decay mode.Firstly,by introducing the Fenwick tree to divide and reorganize data items in the stream,we achieve a constant time complexity for inserting a new item and getting the prefix sum.Meanwhile,we achieve time complicity linear to the number of data item for building a tree.After that,we use the advantage of matrix mechanism to deal with relevant queries and reduce the global sensitivity.In addition,we choose proper diagonal matrix further improve the range query accuracy.Finally,considering about exponential decay,every data item is weighted by the decay factor.By putting the Fenwick tree and matrix optimization together,we present complete algorithm for differentiate private real-time streaming data publication.The experiment is designed to compare the algorithm in this paper with similar algorithms for streaming data release in exponential decay.Experimental results show that the algorithm in this paper effectively improve the query efficiency while ensuring the quality of the query.

An improvement of window factor analysis for resolution of noisy HPLC-DAD data

window factor analysis (WFA) is a powerful tool in analyzing evolutionary process. However, it was found that window factor analysis is much sensitive to the noise involved in original data matrix. An error analysis was done with the fact that the concentration profiles resolved by the conventional window factor analysis are easily distorted by the noise reserved by the abstract factor analysis (AFA), and a modified algorithm for window factor analysis was proposed. Both simulated and experimental HPLC-DAD data were investigated by the conventional and the improved methods. Results show that the improved method can yield less noise-distorted concentration profiles than the conventional method, and the ability for resolution of noisy data sets can be greatly enhanced.
