A 630-kVA 10.5 kV/0.4 kV three-phase high temperature superconducting(HTS)power transformer was successfully developed and tested in a live *** windings were wound by hermetic stainless steelreinforced multi-filamentary Bi2223/Ag *** structures of primary windings are solenoid with insulation and cooling path among layers,and those of secondary windings consist of double-pancakes connected in *** cryostat is made from electrical insulating glass fiber reinforced plastics(GFRP)materials with room temperature bore for commercial amorphous alloy core with five *** are laid in the toroidal cryostat so that the amorphous core operates at room *** insulation technology of double-half wrapping up the Bi2223/Ag tape with Kapton film is used by a winding machine developed by the *** characteristics of the transformer are obtained by standard short-circuit and no-load tests,and it is shown that the transformer meets operating requirements in a live grid.

In this paper modelling and analysis in autonomous mode of dual three-phase induction generator (DTPIG) with a new algorithm have been done. We develop the steady state model of a dual three-phase self-excited induction generator for stand-alone renewable generation dispensing with the segregating real and imaginary components of the complex impedance of the induction generator. The obtained admittance yields the adequate magnetizing reactance and the frequency. These two key parameters are then used to compute the self-excitation process requirements in terms of the prime mover speed, the capacitance and the load impedance on the one hand and to predict the generator steady state performance parameters on the other. Steady state performances and characteristics of different configurations are clearly examined and compared. The analytical results are found to be in good agreement with experimental results.

The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of direct current (DC) motor windings is a system model which is used to reflect the functional characters of the system in the whole EMC specified frequency (150 KHz ~ 30 MHz). For most motor designing process, it is always used to evaluate the inductance of windings in lower or working frequency;however, when analyzing the conducted interference, it is necessary to take some pa-rameters in high frequency into account in building up the EMC model, such as the noticeable capacitance distributed among the windings or between windings and shells. Past research neglected the common-mode current generated by the high frequency interference within motor bearings coupled with shells, since the parasitic capacitance of rotor core comes from armature windings supplied sufficient paths. In EMC model-ing process for DC motor problem, first, test the impedance of windings by experiments;then, generate the equivalent circuit with overall parameters. At present, it is a difficulty that how to choose the parameters. Most researchers preferred to adopt analytical calculation results, however, it could not reflect the essence of the model since it requires many simplification. Based on this point, this paper adopted ant colony algorithm (ACA) with positive feedback to intelligently search and globally optimize the parameters of equivalent cir-cuit. Simulation result showed that the impedance of equivalent circuit calculated by this algorithm was the same as experimental result in the whole EMC frequency. In order to further confirm the validity of ACA, PSPICE circuit simulation was implemented to simulate the spectrum of common mode Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) of equivalent circuit. The simulation result accords well with the experiment result re-ceived by EMI receiver. So it sufficiently demonstrated correctness of ACA in the analysis of high frequency equivalent circuit.

Analysis of Auxiliary Winding Effect on the Leakage Inductance Reduction in the Pulse Transformer Using ANSYS

Several applications need high voltage and low rise time pulses that increasing of the voltage level can be done by using transformer. The rise time is increased because of transformer leakage inductance. One of the methods to decrease the rise time is using auxiliary windings between primary and secondary. In this paper, one type of pulse transformer included auxiliary windings is modeled and simulated in ANSYS software. In this study, at first the transformer has been simulated without auxiliary windings and the leakage and self inductances are obtained then the auxiliary windings are considered in the model to calculate the leakage and self inductances of the transformer. Simulation results can be used to investigate the effect of auxiliary winding on the leakage inductance.
