Malus sieversii distributed in Xinjiang,China is of serious exsciccation and its living condition is severely *** among deadwood symptom grades,salicylic acid(SA)content and diameter at breast height(DBH) of *** plants collected in the same sampling site and habitat conditions was analyzed to indicate phenotypic features of *** that maybe related to the symptoms of *** to the deadwood symptom,*** under the same sampling area and habitat was divided into 6 *** difference of salicylic acid composition and content in different symptom grades of *** was investigated by ultrasonic extraction,HPLC and statistics *** SA content in the different individuals was in the range of 3.61 0.25 mg/100 g,with significant difference(P 0 grade > Ⅳ grade > Ⅲ grade > Ⅰ grade(P 0 grade > Ⅱ grade > Ⅳ grade > Ⅲ grade > Ⅰ grade,basically same as the trend of the change of SA *** was a negative correlation between SA content and DBH of ***(P>0.05),which was similar to that of the samples with symptom of deadwood rate O.05).While there was positive correlation between SA content and DBH of the samples with symptom of deadwood rate > 40%(P > 0.05).There was a certain correlation among deadwood symptom grades,SA content and DBH of *** results achieved in the study would provide some reference clues for ecological conservation and restoration of wild fruit forest in Tianshan Mountains and screening and cultivation of high-quality varieties of cultivated apple.
