Rapid road infrastructure development due to an increasing demand of car users resulted in an increase in paved areas including road sites and suppression of green spaces. An integrated solution that can support a country’s economic development without compromising water pollution is becoming inevitable. Recycling tyres in the form of crumb rubber tyres and mixing it into bituminous paving mixture can increase the recycling rate and minimize cost of incineration process. In dry mixing process, five (5) different variations of Open Graded wearing (OGW) course road samples were made to make up 1.15 kg in each sample. Each OGW mix contained 4% - 6% bitumen Pen 60/ 70 and fixed 1% of crumb rubber tyres, making the percentage of crumb rubber tyres 14% - 20% of bituminous samples. Bitumen Pen 60/70 mixed with 20% crumb rubber tyres content met the PG 76 bitumen properties. Physical properties of OGW made from crumb rubber modified bitumen (CRMB) were better than standard bitumen only. In a separate water leachate test using ICP-OES equipment, heavy metal leachate of Cu(II), Pb(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) were present in all OGW CRMB samples at increasing surrounding water temperature from 25℃ to 60℃. However all the heavy metal concentration was very low below the allowable limit of trade effluent standards into water course.

Skopos Theory is the kernel part of functionalism, holding that the skopos rule is the top-ranking rule that justifies the overall translation process. This paper attempts to make an analysis of the C-E translation of Life and Death Are wearing Me Out from the perspectives of Skopos Theory, and intends to explore the impact of translating skopos on the translator's choice of translating skills as well as the possible reasons behind them.

Passive daytime radiative cooling(PDRC)technology is emerging as one of the most promising solutions to the global problem of spacing cooling,but its practical application is limited due to reduced cooling effectiveness caused by daily wear and tear,as well as dirt *** tackle this problem,we report a novel strategy by introducing a renewable armor structure for prolonging the anti-fouling and cooling effectiveness properties of the PDRC *** armor structure is designed by decorating fluorinated hollow glass microspheres(HGM)inside rigid resin composite *** HGM serve triple purposes,including providing isolated cavities for enhanced solar reflectance,reinforcing the matrices to form robust armored structures,and increasing thermal *** the coatings are worn,the HGM on the surface expose their concave cavities with numerous hydrophobic fragments,generating a highly rough surface that guarantee the superhydrophobic *** coatings show a high sunlight reflectance(0.93)and thermal emittance(0.94)in the long-wave infrared window,leading to a cooling of 5℃ below ambient temperature under high solar flux(∼900 W/m^(2)).When anti-fouling functions are reduced,they can be regenerated more than 100 cycles without compromising the PDRC function by simple wearing ***,these coatings can be easily prepared using a one-pot spray method with low-cost materials,exhibit strong adhesion to a variety of substrates,and demonstrate exceptional environmental ***,we anticipate their immediate application opportunities for spacing cooling.

Plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)coatings were formed on 7075 aluminum alloy in silicate-borate based electrolyte with different duty *** physical and chemical properties of the PEO coatings were thoroughly *** wearing and corrosion properties of the coatings were evaluated by wearing experiments and potentiodynamic polarization tests,*** results showed that the micro-hardness of the coatings first increased and then decreased with the increasing duty *** a results,the wearing resistance of the coatings first increased and then decreased with the increasing duty *** analysis proved that the coatings were mainly composed ofα-Al_(2)O_(3)andγ-Al_(2)O_(3).The presence of wear scars on the worn surface morphology demonstrates that the three-body rolling was the main wear mechanism for coated *** corrosion study showed that the coating formed in the mixed electrolyte with duty cycle of 80%showed the most superior corrosion resistance.
