Design and Properties of Fluoroelastomer Composites via Incorporation of MWCNTs with Varied Modification

Multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)modified with silane coupling agent A-1120(MWCNTs-A1120)were *** with the raw MWCNTs,acidified MWCNTs(MWCNTs-COOH),and MWCNTs grafted with EDA(MWCNTs-NH2),MWCNTs-A1120 have the best dispersion in fluoroelastomer at the same doping ***,fluoroelastomer/MWCNTs-A1120 composite has the best mechanical properties with tensile strength of 13.92 MPa and elongation at break of 111.78%.Then,the effects of doping amount of MWCNTs-A1120 on the electrical properties of the composites were *** dielectric constant of the composite increases with the increase of MWCNTs-A1120,and the dielectric loss does not change much at the low doping amount such as 0.5 wt%.When the doping amount of MWCNTs-A1120 is 5 wt%,the dielectric constant and the dielectric loss value are greatly increased,and the volume resistivity is greatly decreased,which proves that the conductive network is formed in the composite,so the filling amount of 5 wt%is the percolation *** tensile deformation of the sample also affects the electrical properties of the *** the tensile deformation increases,the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the composite *** the composite with 5 wt%MWCNTs-A1120,excessive tensile deformation will destroy the conductive network structure of the composite,so the composite will change from conductive material to dielectric ***,such composite is a good candidate for flexible conductive material or flexible dielectric material used in harsh environments such as high temperatures and various aggressive solvents.

Effect of Introducing Conductive Organic Carrier on Properties of Low-Temperature Conductive Silver Paste

The poly(epoxy-N-methylaniline)conductive organic carrier was used as the bonding phase of the low-temperature conductive silver ***,this was mixed with different proportions of silver powder to prepare the low-temperature conductive silver ***,the effect of the conductive organic carrier on the properties of the low-temperature conductive silver paste was determined by IR,DMA and *** results revealed that the prepared conductive paste has good conductivity,film-forming performance,printing performance,low-temperature curing performance,and anti-aging *** the mass percentage of the bonding phase/conductive phase was 40/60,the lowest volume resistivity of the conductive silver paste was 4.9×10^(−6)Ω⋅cm,and the conductivity was the best.

ONE-STEP PROCESS TO MAKE ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE THERMOPLASTIC VULCANIZATES FILLED WITH MWCNTs

Electrically conductive thermoplastic vulcanizates（TPVs） filled by multi-walled carbon nanotubes（MWCNTs） are prepared by a simple one-step melt mixing process,based on linear low density polyethylene（LLDPE） and ultrafme full-vulcanized rubber particles（UFRP）.An ideal morphology with controlled localization of MWCNTs in continuous LLDPE matrix and appropriate size of finely-dispersed UFRP can be achieved at the same *** controlled localization of MWCNTs in the continuous phase facilitates the formation of conductive pathway,and thus the volume resistivity of the as-prepared LLDPE/UFRP/MWCNTs thermoplastic vulcanizates is significantly *** results show that both the blend ratio of LLDPE/UFRP and the loading of MWCNTs have remarkable effect on the volume ***, the electrically conductive TPVs exhibit good mechanical properties duo to the fine dispersion of UFRP in *** added MWCNTs are capable of imparting reinforcement effects to thermoplastic vulcanizates with just a slight loss of stretchability and elasticity.

The Electrical Conductive Effect of Nickel-coated Graphite/Two-component Silicone-rubber Sealant

Nickel-coated graphite particles and two-component silicone-rubber were compounded to form a conductive composite system. The electrical volume resistivity of the composites were examined and compared under constant tensile strains, cyclic heating-cooling, electric field and repeated cyclic tensile strains in order to study the mechanism of electrical conductivity behaviors of the conductive composites under stress, temperature and current. The results showed that a peak value of the electrical resistivity appeared previously and then gradually increasing with increasing tensile strain. The electrical resistivity displayed positive temperature coefficient effect during the temperature increasing and decreasing. Applying 5A direct current to the conductive composites lesulted in an increase in the electrical resistance immediately, but no changes were detected under lower currents. Under the repeated cyclic strain, the peak value of the electrical resistivity of each cycle increased with the test cycle. All the electrical resistivity changes were attributed to the conductive networks broken-up and rebuilt in the conductive composites.

In this study,a straightforward,one-step wet-end formation process was employed to prepare cellulose/graphene conductive paper for antistatic packing *** polyacrylamide was introduced into the cellulose/graphene slurry to improve the graphene loading on the surfaces of the cellulose *** effect of the super calender process on the properties of the cellulose/graphene conductive paper was *** 55 wt% graphene was added,the volume resistivity of the cellulose/graphene conductive paper was 94.70 W·cm,decreasing to 35.46 W·cm after the super calender *** cellulose/graphene conductive paper possessed excellent anti-static ability and could be used as an anti-static material.
