Traditional Chinese Medicine in colorectal cancer treatment:a bibliometrics study and visualization analysis via CiteSpace

Objective:To evaluate the current state of research and areas of interest for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the field of colorectal cancer treatment.Methods:Related papers published between January 1,2012,and November 27,2021,were found using the Web of Science Core Collection Science Citation Index Expanded.Using CiteSpace's network map generation capability,we then determined the top writers,organizations,countries,keywords,co-cited writers,journals,references,and research trends.Results:This investigation yielded a total of 336 relevant papers.China is the most productive country.Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the leading institution.The journal with the most popularity and publishing volume is Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine.The author with the most citations and centrality is Lin JM.The terms"epithelial-mesenchymal transition,""cell cycle arrest,""apoptosis,"and"autophagy"are highly frequent and have a high betweenness centrality.Conclusion:According to the results,research on natural products,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)extracts,and the molecular mechanisms of TCM chemical constituents constitutes the primary focus within TCM cancer treatment investigations.In recent years,there has been a surge of interest in exploring the role of gut microbiota in TCM chemical constituents research,particularly in its ability to induce apoptosis and autophagy in tumor cells,thereby suppressing tumor cell proliferation,metastasis,and invasion.However,due to the intricate composition of TCM and existing technical limitations,the underlying principles guiding TCM's efficacy in treating colorectal cancer remain unclear and warrant further investigation.

With the rapid development of computer hardware and big data processing technology,the bottleneck of intelligent analysis of massive data has changed from“how to deal with massive data quickly”to“how to mine valuable information quickly and effectively from massive data”.visualization and visualization analysis based on human visual perception characteristics,combined with data analysis and human-computer interaction and other technologies,use visual charts to deconstruct the knowledge and rules contained in complex data.This technology runs through the whole life cycle of data science,known as the last kilometer in the field of big data intelligence,and has achieved remarkable results in many big data application analysis scenarios.Traditional visualization analysis is extremely dependent on the user’s frequent active participation in the whole life cycle of visualization analysis,including data preparation,data conversion,visualization mapping,visual rendering,user interaction,visual analysis and other stages,which require high professional skills of users and low intelligence of the system.Therefore,the traditional visualization analysis mode and systems have the challenges of high threshold of visualization analysis,high cost of data preparation,high latency of interaction response,and low efficiency of interaction mode.Therefore,this paper introduces the application,challenges in visualization based on explainable AI.

visualization analysis of lecithin in drugs based on electrochemiluminescent single gold microbeads

Fast and high-throughput determination of drugs is a key trend in clinical medicine.Single particles have increasingly been adopted in a variety of photoanalytical and electroanalytical applications,and microscopic analysis has been a hot topic in recent years,especially for electrochemiluminescence(ECL).This paper describes a simple ECL method based on single gold microbeads to image lecithin.Lecithin reacts to produce hydrogen peroxide under the successive enzymatic reaction of phospholipase D and choline oxidase.ECL was generated by the electrochemical reaction between a luminol analog and hydrogen peroxide,and ECL signals were imaged by a camera.Despite the heterogeneity of single gold microbeads,their luminescence obeyed statistical regularity.The average luminescence of 30 gold microbeads is correlated with the lecithin concentration,and thus,a visualization method for analyzing lecithin was established.Calibration curves were constructed for ECL intensity and lecithin concentration,achieving detection limits of 0.05 m M lecithin.This ECL imaging platform based on single gold microbeads exhibits outstanding advantages,such as high throughput,versatility and low cost,and holds great potential in disease diagnostics,environmental monitoring and food safety.

Global trend of nondrug and nonsedativehypnotic treatment forinsomnia: a bibliometric study

OBJECTIVE: To present a bibliometric analysis of global scientific publications on the nondrug and nonsedative hypnotic treatment of insomnia with regard to influential institutions, publications, countries, research hotspots,trends, and frontiers. METHODS: A literature review was conducted by searching the Web of Science Core Collection(Wo SCC) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) databases to identify all publications related to the nondrug and nonsedative hypnotic treatment of insomnia from 2000 to 2021. Eligible publications were reviewed, including annual publication increments, citation analyses, international collaborations, and keyword analyses. The data were analysed using Cite Space(vers5.8.R3, 6.1.R2 and 6.1.6, College of Computing and Informatics, Philadelphia, PA, USA) and virtualized by knowledge maps. RESULTS:In total, 9832 publications were included in this analysis. The results from the WoSCC showed that the United States of America(Count = 2268, 40.33%), Stanford University(Count = 141, 2.51%), and the United States Department of Health and Human Services were the leading country, institute, and funding agency regarding the number of publications, respectively. “Cognitive-behavioural therapy” was the most popular research topic generated from the cocited reference. The most frequently co-occurring keywords were insomnia, cognitive behavioural therapy, disorder, depression, quality of life, Meta-analysis, older adult, sleep, prevalence and efficacy, while keywords including clinical practice guideline, guideline, and Tai Chi remained popular after 2021. Circadian rhythm was the strongest research frontier for 2000-2021. In China, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Count = 69, 4.79%) was the most productive institute in this field. Greenway is an organic part of urban ecological network system,and its construction is closely related to urban ecological civilization.Urban greenway not only provides elastic space for high-density cities,but also promotes the construction of low-carbon and resilient cities,thus constantly creating ideal living environment.Through visualization analysis of 1,315 literatures on China's urban greenway included in CNKI from 1986 to the first half of 2022,the paper analyzed the published papers,research strength,research hotspots and frontier trend of China's urban greenway research based on CiteSpace,in order to provide a reference for future research of urban greenway in China.

Objective:The objective of the study was to explore the research status and hot topics that are most studied about in Tai Chi Chuan(TCC)analgesia through a metrical and visualization analysis of the literature and provide some references for the experimental research on the analgesic effect of TCC and its clinical applications.Methods:The literature on TCC analgesia was collected from the Web of Science database,and the metrical and visualization analysis was performed using the Cite Space.5.6.R4 software in terms of publication outputs,countries,institutions,keywords,highly cited articles,and highly cited journals.Results:The number of annual publications gradually increased over time.The five research groups presented stable cooperative relationships and more publications.The authors ranked as top 1 were from America rather than China,which has more publications.The most common keywords were Tai Chi,randomized controlled trial,older adults,exercise,pain,low back pain,quality of life,management,etc.The literature on knee osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia had the highest citation frequency.The journals with high citation frequency included Cochrane Database System Review,Pain,and Plos One.Conclusions:Increasing attention has been paid to TCC analgesia.Randomized controlled trials,older adults,low back pain,and quality of life were found to be most studied in this field.Investigating clinical efficacy and conducting meta-analyses could be a promising direction in the future.The international cooperation and literature quality of TCC analgesia should be further strengthened.

The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading development situation within the research field related to student classroom engagement.Using knowledge mapping tools,this paper conducted the visualization analysis on internationalliteraturein relation to student classroom engagementfrom the Web of Science databases.By combination of the statistical data and visualizationmapping,this paper studied on the research relationship networks and status for the co-authors'countries/institutions,co-citation documents/journalsand co-occurring keywordsbased on the sample datafromliterature.The results indicate that the number ofpublished papershasincreased obviously and expanded graduallysince 2000.Main countries and institutions of researches were the UnitedStates,Australia,United Kingdom,Canada and China in order,and these countries had intense collaboration.The theoretical basis of the research come from education and teaching,psychology.The hotspots of researches fromthe global literature coveredvarious fields including achievement,motivation,behavior,education,performance.As a result of the multidisciplinary integration,many relevant internationalresearch constantly expanded the research scopes,which promoted the combination and development of theories.

CRISPR is an adaptive immune defense system found in bacteria and archaea that is resistant to heterologous invasive genetic material.Later studies showed that the CRISPR system can be used for gene editing.This study used the Web of Science database as a search object,then visually analyzed the literature related to CRISPR gene-editing technology with CiteSpaceV.The results show that publications had increased year by year.USA ranked first in terms of publications,China is second,but the centrality is very low.Doudna JA and Zhang F have made outstanding contributions.There are close connections between the internal institutions of the various states,but there are few links between the states.The hot spot and frontier are the application of CRISPR in animals,plants,detection,diagnosis,and clinical treatment.

The aim of the paper is to identify and explore leading thematic areas within the research field related to Business Schools Accreditation in China.Based on data from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,the keywords frequency was analyzed,and the theory of mapping knowledge domain was used to visualize the keywords co-occurrence network to make further research of the heated issues.The findings indicate that the research scope involved in business school accreditation research is broad,and research content focus on teaching,management,talent cultivation.According to the results of keywords co-occurrence analysis of different stages,AACSB,AACSB Accreditation,international accreditation,business school,AOL,internationalization,accreditation are the most important issues to business school research in China,given their position and role in the research network.The paper generates the added value mainly from the point of view of theory development.

Bibliometric analysis of research in epilepsy and comorbid depression from 2014 to 2023

BACKGROUND Epilepsy and depression have complicated bidirectional relationships.Our study aimed to explore the field of epilepsy comorbid with depression in a bibliometric perspective from 2014-2023.AIM To improve our understanding of epilepsy and depression by evaluating the relationship between epilepsy and depression,bibliometric analyses were performed.METHODS Epilepsy and depression-related publications from the last decade were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection.We conducted bibliometric and visual analysis using VOSviewer and CiteSpace,examining authorships,countries,institutions,journals of publication,co-citations of references,connections between keywords,clusters of keywords,and keywords with citation bursts.RESULTS Over the past ten years,we collected 1045 research papers focusing on the field of epilepsy and comorbid depression.Publications on epilepsy and depression have shown a general upward trend over time,though with some fluctuations.The United States,with 287 articles,and the University of Melbourne,contributing 34 articles,were the top countries and institutions,respectively.In addition,in the field of epilepsy and depression,Professor Lee,who has published 30 articles,was the most contributing author.The hot topics pay attention to the quality of life in patients with epilepsy and depression.CONCLUSION We reported that quality of life and stigma in patients with epilepsy comorbid with depression are possible future hot topics and directions in the field of epilepsy and depression research.
