Rough set theory has a very good effect in information processing and knowledge discovery.In an information table,the current scholars regard all objects as a Universe,and then establish various rough set models.However,in the analysis of many data problems,it is more reasonable to select parts of objects which are useful to us or can meet the actual needs as a Universe.Therefore,in order to make up for the deficiency of traditional models,a new model is introduced from the perspective of variable Universe.Then,some interesting properties of this model,such as approximation sets,reduct of attributes and maximum part of Universe,are discussed.Through the study of this paper,it can be seen that the model developed in our paper is not only more accurate but also more effective in describing uncertain knowledge.

We present the transition of the Universe from the early decelerating phase to the current accelerating phase with viscous fluid and time-dependent cosmological constant (A) as a source of matter in Bianchi- V spacetime.To study the transit behaviour of the Universe,we assume the scale factor as an increasing function of time,which generates a time-dependent deceleration parameter (DP).The study revesls that the cosmological term does not change its fundamental nature for ε =const and ε =ε(t),where ε is the coefficient of bulk viscosity.The A(t)is found to be positive and is a decreasing function of time.The same behavior was observed during recent supernovae observations.The physical behaviour of the Universe is discussed in detail.

Yan Fu＇s Evolution and Ethics and Tan Sitong＇ s Theory of Benevolence are thetwo important books published in the great turning point of modern Chinese history. Both booksnot only harshly criticize the monarchy, take the lead in appealing for liberty, equality and democra-cy, but also give a creative explanation of Universe -man relationship which is the basic issue of Chi-nese thought, promote the transformation of traditional cosmology and morality toward a new worldoutlook, social outlook and values, and lay the foundation for ontology and methodology of new ide-as and new theories. Both books have the ＂Prejudice＂ given by Chinese traditional culture,but be-cause of their ideological resources, thinking coordinates and methodological path differences, theyconstitute a certain relationship of contrast and complementarity in theory. Therefore, conducting amore in - depth analysis and summing up the achievements and limitations of them are enough toprovide valuable lessons for us in ＂restarting the thinking of Universe -man＂ in today＇s era.

The CST bounce Universe model——A parametric study

A bounce Universe model with a scale-invariant and stable spectrum of primordial density perturbations was constructed using a consistent truncation of the D-brane dynamics from Type IIB string theory. A coupling was introduced between the tachyon field and the adjoint Higgs field on the D3-branes to lock the tachyon at the top of its potential hill and to model the bounce process,which is known as the Coupled Scalar and Tachyon Bounce(CSTB) Universe. The CSTB model has been shown to be ghost free,and it fulfils the null energy condition; in addition, it can also solve the Big Bang cosmic singularity problem. In this paper we conduct an extensive follow-up study of the parameter space of the CSTB model. In particular we are interested in the parameter values that can produce a single bounce to arrive at a radiation-dominated Universe. We further establish that the CSTB Universe is a viable alternative to inflation, as it can naturally produce a sufficient number of e-foldings in the locked inflation epoch and in the post-bounce expansion to overcome the four fundamental limitations of the Big Bang cosmology, which are flatness, horizon,homogeneity and singularity, resulting in a Universe of the current size.

Decoding the Structural Keywords in Protein Structure Universe

Although the protein sequence-structure gap continues to enlarge due to the development of high-throughput sequencing tools,the protein structure Universe tends to be complete without proteins with novel structural folds deposited in the protein data bank (PDB)recently.In this work,we identify a protein structural dictionary (Frag-K)composed of a set of backbone fragments ranging from 4 to 20 residues as the structural "keywords"that can effectively distinguish between major protein folds.We firstly apply randomized spectral clustering and random forest algorithms to construct representative and sensitive protein fragment libraries from a large scale of high-quality,non-homologous protein structures available in PDB.We analyze the impacts of clustering cut-offs on the performance of the fragment hbraries.Then,the Frag-K fragments are employed as structural features to classify protein structures in major protein folds defined by SCOP (Structural Classification of Proteins).Our results show that a structural dictionary with N400 4-to 20-residue Frag-K fragments is capable of classifying major SCOP folds with high accuracy.

Constraining the anisotropy of the Universe with the Pantheon supernovae sample

We test the possible dipole anisotropy of the Finslerian cosmological model and the other three dipolemodulated cosmological models,i.***.the dipole-modulated ACDM,wCDM and Chevallier-Polarski-Linder(CPL)models,by using the recently released Pantheon sample of SNe la.The Markov chain Monte Garlo(MGMC)method is used to explore the whole parameter space.We find that the dipole anisotropy is very weak in all cosmological models used.Although the dipole amplitudes of four cosmological models are consistent with zero within the 1σuncertainty,the dipole directions are close to the axial direction of the plane of the SDSS subsample in Pantheon.This may imply that the weak dipole anisotropy in the Pantheon sample originates from the inhomogeneous distribution of the SDSS subsample.A more homogeneous distribution of SNe la is necessary to constrain the cosmic anisotropy.
