We propose a configurable surface-electrode ion trap design to alleviate the poor reusability of the existing traps.It can architecturally and electrically support 5 mainstream modes by design reuse,thus enhancing the trap reusability and reducing the experiment setup overhead.We also develop a corresponding simulation suite which can optimize trap geometries and calculate trap parameters to control the trapped ion's classic motion.According to our analytical and simulated results,the configurable design can serve as a unified platform for basic research of large-scale quantum information processing.

Based on the dynamic loading(1-100 s^(-1)) experiments under different temperatures(223-298 K) and stress states, uniaxial and biaxial strength criterion of a Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB)based composite solid propellant were further investigated. These experiments were conducted through the use of a new uniaxial INSTRON testing machine, different new designed gripping apparatus and samples with different configurations. According to the test results, dynamic uniaxial tensile strength criterion of the propellant was directly constructed with the master curve of the uniaxial maximum tensile stress. Whereas, a new method was proposed to determine the dynamic uniaxial compressive strength of the propellant in this study. Then uniaxial compressive strength criterion of the propellant was constructed based on the related master curve. Moreover, it found that the uniaxial tensilecompressive strength ratio of the propellant is more sensitive to loading temperature under the test conditions. The value of this parameter is about 0.4 at room temperature, and it reduces to 0.2-0.3 at low temperatures. Finally, the theoretical biaxial strength criterion of HTPB propellant under dynamic loading was constructed with the unified strength theory, the uniaxial strength and the typical biaxial tensile strength. In addition, the theoretical limit lines of the principal stress plane for the propellant under dynamic loading at different temperatures were further plotted, and the scope of the limit line increases with decreasing temperature.

The parton evolution model is improved by using the modified Alteralli-Parisi equation which can describe the nuclear shadowing and antishadowing effects in the small x region.Within the theoretical framework of the improved parton evolution modelt the unified description of the European Muon Collaboration(EMC)effect,and nuclear shadowing and antishad owing effects is given without introducing the nuclear shadowing factor.

Materials for energy-related applications,which are crucial for a sustainable energy economy,rely on combining materials that form complex heterogenous interfaces.Simultaneously,progress in computational materials science in describing complex interfaces is critical for improving the understanding and performance of energy materials.Hence,we present an in-depth review of the physical quantities regulating interfaces in batteries,photovoltaics,and photocatalysts,that are accessible from modern electronic structure methods,with a focus on density functional theory calculations.For each energy application,we highlight unique approaches that have been developed to calculate interfacial properties and explore the possibility of applying some of these approaches across disciplines,leading to a unified overview of interface design.Finally,we identify a set of challenges for further improving the theoretical description of interfaces in energy devices.

Based on the relationships between the Hvorslev envelope,the current yield sur-face and the reference yield surface,a new constitutive model for overconsolidated clays is proposed. It adopts the unified hardening parameter,to which the potential failure stress ratio and the characteristic state stress ratio are introduced. The model can describe many characteristics of overconsolidated clays,including stress-strain relationships,strain hardening and softening,stress dilatancy,and stress path dependency. Compared with the Cam-clay model,the model only re-quires one additional soil parameter which is the slope of the Hvorslev envelope. Comparisons with data from triaxial drained compression tests for Fujinomori clay show that the proposed model can rationally describe overconsolidated properties. In addition,the model is also used to predict the stress-strain relationship in the isotropic consolidation condition and the stress paths in the undrained triaxial compression tests.

Monogamy and polygamy relations of multiqubit entanglement based on unified entropy

Monogamy relation is one of the essential properties of quantum entanglement,which characterizes the distribution of entanglement in a multipartite system.By virtual of the unified-(q,s)entropy,we obtain some novel monogamy and polygamy inequalities in general class of entanglement measures.For the multiqubit system,a class of tighter monogamy relations are established in term of the α-th power of unified-(q,s)entanglement for α≥1.We also obtain a class of tighter polygamy relations in the β-th(0≤β≤1)power of unified-(q,s)entanglement of assistance.Applying these results to specific quantum correlations,e.g.,entanglement of formation,Renyi-q entanglement of assistance,and Tsallis-q entanglement of assistance,we obtain the corresponding monogamy and polygamy relations.Typical examples are presented for illustration.Furthermore,the complementary monogamy and polygamy relations are investigated for the α-th(0≤α≤ 1)and β-th(β≥1)powers of unified entropy,respectively,and the corresponding monogamy and polygamy inequalities are obtained.

It is shown that the flux motion in high-T_(c) superconductors can be well consistently analysed by a unified materials equation.The different models of U(J)so far suggested can be shown as specific forms or limits of this unified materials equation.The scaling law of flux pinning derived from this equation agrees with recent experimental observations on high-Jc NdBa2Gu3O7-δsingle crystal.The amplitude dependence of ac susceptibility derived from this equation is compared with several experimental results of high-T_(c) superconductors and a general power law is found.

A solid/liquid/gas unified model has been developed to investigate the gradient composition formation during the plasma deposition manufacturing(PDM) composite materials process. In this model,an enthalpy porosity model was applied to deal with the melting and solidification of the deposited layer,and a level-set approach was introduced to track the evolution of the free surface of the molten pool and the deposited layer. Moreover,complicated physical phenomena occurring at the liquid/gas interface,including forced convection heat loss,heat emission and plasma heat source,have been incorporated into the governing equations by source terms. In this study,the numerical experiment of nickel base alloy powder deposited on the medium steel substrate by PDM technique was implemented based on the staggered grid and SIMPLEC algorithm. Concentration gradient distribution of the solute material at the composite material interface,fluid flow and temperature distribution in the molten pool and the deposited layer have been investigated in detail.

The radiative transfer equations in cylindrical coordinates are important in the application of inertial confinement fusion.In comparison with the equations in Cartesian coordinates,an additional angular derivative term appears in the cylindrical case.This term adds great difficulty for a numerical scheme to keep the conservation of total energy.In this paper,based on weighting factors,the angular derivative term is properly discretized,and the interface fluxes in the radial r-direction depend on such a discretization as well.A unified gas kinetic scheme(UGKS)with asymptotic preserving property for the gray radiative transfer equations is constructed in cylindrical coordinates.The current UGKS can naturally capture the radiation diffusion solution in the optically thick regime with the cell size being much larger than photon's mean free path.At the same time,the current UGKS can present accurate solutions in the optically thin regime as well.Moreover,it is a finite volume method with total energy conservation.Due to the scale-dependent time evolution solution for the interface flux evaluation,the scheme can cover multiscale transport mechanism seamlessly.The cylindrical hohlraum tests in inertial confinement fusion are used to validate the current approach,and the solutions are compared with implic让Monte Carlo result.
