As a highly advanced conversational AI chatbot trained on extensive datasets,ChatGPT has garnered significant attention across various domains,including academia,industry,and education.In the field of education,existing studies primarily focus on 2 areas:Assessing the potential utility of ChatGPT in education by examining its capabilities and limitations;exploring the educational scenarios that could benefit from the integration of ChatGPT.In contrast to these studies,we conduct a user survey targeting undergraduate students specializing in Software Engineering,aiming to gain insights into their perceptions,challenges,and expectations regarding the utilization of ChatGPT.Based on the results of the survey,we provide valuable guidance on the effective incorporation of ChatGPT in the realm of software engineering education.

This study was to investigate the effects of mind-body exercise on burnout and perceived stress among female undergraduate students.A sample of 146 female undergraduate students took part in this study.They were assigned to mind-body exercise group(n=91)and control group(n=55).Mind-body exercise group received three 90-min sessions of Baduanjin exercise per week lasting for 12-weeks.There was no intervention in the control group.The Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey was used to assess burnout level,and the 10-item perceived stress scale was used to assess stress level.Significant decreases in emotional exhaustion(pundergraduate students.

Background: We examined family health history (FHH) as a public health intervention tool in undergraduate students. We hypothesized that the FHH assignment would positively relate to students’ FHH knowledge and health and healthcare-seeking behavioral change. Methods: Health professional students’ (n = 103) pre/post-test surveys and research papers were collected in 2011-2012, from a mid-western and southern university in the United States of America, using mixed methods research. Results: The majority of students were aged 18 - 30, women, White, had healthcare access and health insurance, and awareness of the term FHH. Significant logistic regression relationships existed between: 1) helping students understand important strengths and weaknesses in their health and quality of life and outcomes of talking with family and doctors about FHH;and 2) improving students’ understanding of what they needed to do to maintain their health and the outcome statement “FHH tells you about inherited genes.” Key themes from the research papers included actions and FHH and proposed behavioral changes. Conclusions: Quantitative findings supported the relationship between students’ assignment evaluation and knowledge change, while qualitative findings supported relationships between assignment evaluation and knowledge and behavioral change. This study highlights regional differences in students’ FHH and the need to address family support barriers to behavioral change.

Background: This study examined the COVID-19-related knowledge, attitude and practices among undergraduate students in Uganda. Methods: An online cross-sectional survey was conducted from 12th-19th June 2020 among undergraduate students using a standard questionnaire designed using Google Forms sent via WhatsApp Messenger. The data were analyzed using SPSS. Pearson’s Chi-square test was used to test the differences and odds ratios with their 95% confidence intervals were used for quantifying the association between independent and dependent variables. p Results: Of the 161 respondents, 102 (63.4%) were males with a mean age of 24.2 (5.0) years. The majority 121 (75.2%) were pursuing health-related programs and overall, 110 (68.3%) had sufficient knowledge while 76 (47.2%) had a positive attitude and good practice each. Knowledge and attitude were significantly associated with health-related programs (AOR 4.78, 95% CI 2.06 - 11.07;p Conclusions: COVID-19-related knowledge, attitude and practices among undergraduates in Uganda were low overall. Therefore, concerted efforts to provide tailored health education and behaviour change communication are needed.

Objective:A positive and successful transition into university is crucial.Transition to the college environment is a critical situation that can impact students holistically.The study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic adjustment among undergraduate student s in Oman.Methods:The study utilized a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional study design.The total sample was 339 based on defined inclusion criteria.The study used Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire and Academic Adjustment Scale to investig a te the extents of the research phenomena among undergraduate students.Results:The average age of the participants was 21.5 years.The level of AD and EI was on medium.However,the findings revealed a strong positive relationship(r=0.703)between emo t ional intelligence and academic adjustment among undergraduate students.Conclusion:Emotional intelligence may increase over time through the academic life.It can help students develop adequate social skills and bondings to satisfy academic demands and p romote their social,moral,and cognitive abilities and adjustment.

Sleep deprivation is a common problem among university students,it causes lowered cognitive skills,higher tend of suicide,risk-taking behavior and interaction anxiety.By using the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and Interaction Anxiousness Scale(IAS),the survey on the sleep quality and interaction anxiousness was carried out among 124 undergraduate students,in order to found the correlation between sleep deprivation and interaction anxiousness.The results showed a strong positive correlation between them.This study also investigates the difference of PSQI and IAS among students with varied disciplines and grades,and findings illustrated a poor sleep quality as well as poor interpersonal communication situation among university students.

Effectiveness refers to the measure of to what extent goals are accomplished,this study will focus on determining how effective online learning is,more specifically how it fares during times of COVID-19 pandemic and focused on undergraduate students.Many studies have been previously been made regarding online learning effectiveness,however there are not many studies referring to online learning in times of pandemic and even fewer focused on developing nations like the Dominican Republic.The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of online learning in times of COVID-19 of undergraduate students in the Dominican Republic.This research is necessary because of how the country have switched completely,albeit temporarily to a fully online teaching modality due to COVID-19,this sudden change was done without much infrastructure,teaching materials or pacification previously adapted to this particular situation,therefore assessing how effective has online education has been during this period will contribute to the country’s current situation and any future challenge that may arrive and need a similar approach.In order to understand this problematic as well as to get useful information from the volunteers,undergraduate students from UTESA University,interviews will be used to collect information which will later be analyzed using the qualitative methodology with a narrative inquiry approach.Finally conducting this study is expected to provide much needed information in this subject that may serve as guidance for a future reform of the higher education system in the country,putting special focus on the online learning modality.

Research on the Application of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)Teaching Method in Clinical Emergency Teaching

Objective To assess the prevalence of depression and anxiety symptoms among undergraduate students in Wuhu, to investigate the influence factors of depression and anxiety and the correlation between self-control,including emotion selfcontrol,behavior self-control and mind self-control, with anxiety or depression, in order to providing evidence for early intervention of mental health. Methods Depression and anxiety status of totally 478 university students（261 females and 217 males） in Wuhu was investigated by the Beck depression inventory（BDI） and the Beck anxiety inventory（BAI） respectively, additionally, multivariable linear regression and two linear logistic regression models were constructed to analyze associations of influence factors and self-control with depression and anxiety, moreover, Pearson-correlation was used to estimate the correlation between depression, anxiety and selfcontrol. Results（1） Among 478 students, 12（2.5%） suffered anxiety（4 females and 8 males）;268（56.1%） experienced depression（147 females and 121 males）.（2） Multivariable linear regression showed the subject have significant influence on depression and anxiety（P＜0.05）, and anxiety of the science students was significantly higher than that of the liberal arts students（P＜0.01）, so was depression（P＜0.05）.（3）Two linear logistic regression revealed self-control effected depression（P＜0.01） and anxiety（P＜0.05） remarkably, and the scores of self-control of students who suffered depression or anxiety were both significantly higher than that of normal（P＜0.01, P＜0.05）.（4）Pearson correlation indicated self-control was significantly related with depression and anxiety（r=0.143, r=0.152, P＜0.01）. Conclusion Male students were more likely to have anxiety（3.7% male to 1.5% female） but female students were more likely to have depression（56.3% female to 55.8% male）, depression and anxiety were significant associated with the subject and self-control, furthermore, it may be possible to improve mental health of undergraduate students by adjusting self-con

Objective:To explore the application advantages of problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method in clinical emergency teaching.Methods:Two classes of students in the five-year clinical medicine major of our university were selected as the research subjects and divided into two groups according to different teaching methods.Among them,50 students who received the traditional teaching method constituted the control group,while 52 students who received the PBL teaching method constituted the observation group.After one semester,an exam was conducted to assess their theoretical knowledge and first-aid practical skills,and evaluate their clinical thinking skills.At the same time,a teaching satisfaction questionnaire was distributed to evaluate the teaching satisfaction.Results:The results of the t-test showed that the observation group was significantly higher than the control group in terms of theoretical assessment,first aid practical assessment,and clinical thinking skills,and the differences were statistically significant(Pstudents’mastery of theoretical knowledge,first aid practical skills,and clinical thinking skills can be effectively strengthened,and it is conducive to improving teaching satisfaction.
