Considering china’s increasing political and economic significance in the 21st century,it is not surprising that china attracts a lot of attention due to its numerous achievements and the diverse challenges faced by the *** china constantly expands its impact zone,more and more countries are gradually being affected by china’s policies and *** this context,it is crucial to notice that the Belt and Road Initiative is the most comprehensive and essential one in today’s *** purpose of this study is to examine the Belt and Road Initiative and its harmony with turkey’s strategic *** this framework,the author explores Sino-Turkish relations’ historical background,BRI’s primary content,turkey’s participation in the BRI,and potential challenges between turkey and ***,the author targets to examine the project’s compliance with turkey’s strategic *** understand both countries’ interests and solve conflict resolution between these countries,the author aims to explain the opportunities and challenges of cooperation between china and *** meet the objectives of this study,the author builds the basis of the survey with china’s rise,china-turkey relations,and Turkish foreign ***,the researcher delineates the original Silk Road,the Belt and Road Initiative’s overview,and the project’s benefits to china and other BRI ***,the author scrutinizes turkey’s opinion on the project by examining Turkish media’s,policymakers,and turkey’s ***,the researcher discusses turkey’s selffinanced projects and its compliance with Belt and Road *** findings of this study indicate that the middle corridor initiative is compatible with Belt and Road ***,the analysis demonstrates that the project overall is consistent with Turkish foreign policy and strategic ***,as far as the economy is concerned,the Turkish and Chinese demography have simila

Is turkey Acting Fairly?-turkey’s Choice in T-LORAMIDS

Since 1952,turkey has formally committed to the US/NATO alliance and taken part in the collective defense system within the ***,in September 2013,turkey made a surprise move and announced its intention to buy china’s long-range missile defense system over the competitors’products including from NATO ***,the maker of the FD-2000(HQ-9)is a state-owned company-china Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation(CPMEIC),which is under American sanctions for transferring missile technology to the states opposed to the West and its *** to the risk that china could access NATO’s intelligence and military information across the region,turkey’s choice of the Chinese FD-2000 set off a massive controversy,raising NATO’s suspicions about turkey’s intentions,which carries serious implications for turkey’s attempts to strengthen ties with *** study aims to provide insights into turkey’s pursuit of an indigenous Long Range Missile Defense System(T-LORAMIDS),providing an evaluation focusing on three questions:What is turkey’s motivation in acquiring T-LORAMIDS?How does turkey’s realist behavior fit into its decision to purchase T-LORAMIDS?Will turkey’s choice of missile defense system eventually make its current intimate involvement with US/NATO redundant?The article’s basic argument is that turkey remains a staunch ally of the West,and its incongruous behavior may be explained and validated through analyzing its realpolitik approach and desire for strategic balance,which is perceived by turkey as attempting to retain the advantage in managing strategic relations with its partners.

On the Misperceptions between the Peoples of turkey and china

Nations’misperception causes misinterpretations of reciprocal demands,actions;the other side’s expectations,inadequacies and priorities;and may form *** scholars,especially those studying international relations,generally attach utmost importance to the bilateral relations of politics,economy,culture and *** policy analysts and makers often disregard the impact of public *** article tries to analyze the impact of the perceptions between Turkish and Chinese peoples to the relations of both *** case of this the main question of this presentation is whether the public’s attitude became a major hinder and heavily influenced the decision-makers or not on the basis of Turkish-Chinese *** relations between turkey and china in political and economic field have improved significantly in recent *** the degree of favorability to people to people exchange is extremely low because of the influential factors,which are mostly stemmed from the issue of‘Eastern Turkistan’,the thoughts of the past,the trade imbalance and the media’s negative and adverse approach to the *** order to solve the low favorability problem,both sides not only should depend on exchange and dialogue institutionally,but also rely on social and cultural interactions informally to enhance the mutual understanding accordingly.
