A novel biscalixarene with two kinds of calix[4]arene derivative units connected by four bridging chains, was facilely＇ synthesized by ＂1 ＋ 1＂ condensation mode in high yield. The element analyses, ESI-MS, ^1H NMR and ^1H-^1H COSY spectrum showed that the calix[4]arene units of compound 4 were in cone conformations and compound 4 possessed biscalixarene-tube structure. 2007 Fa Fu Yang. To explore the feasibility and superiority of iodine delivery rate(IDR)and tube voltage determined by patients'body mass index(BMI)in coronary CT angiography(CCTA),a total of 1567 patients undertaking CCTA during *** Dec.2016 were enrolled and divided into two *** the control group,the IDR and tube voltage were fixed,while in the experimental group,the IDR and tube voltage were determined by patients,*** volume of iodinated contrast media(ICM),extravasation rate,extravasation volume,extravasation recovery interval,incidence rate of adverse reactions,effective dose(ED)and image quality of the two groups were *** experiments demonstrated that the ICM volume,extravasation rate,extravasation volume,extravasation recovery interval,incidence of adverse reactions and ED were lower or shorter in the experimental group than in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all Ptube voltage based on patients'BMI;low tube voltage and IDR are superior to the fixed tube voltage and IDR and are worthy of clinical promotion.

The main objective of this study is the technical optimization of a Shell-and-tube Heat Exchanger(STHE).In order to do so,a simulation model is introduced that takes into account the related gas-phase ***,simulation verification experiments are designed in order to validate the *** results show that the tem-peraturefield undergoes strong variations in time when an inlet wind speed of 6 m/s is considered,while the heat transfer error reaches a minimum of 5.1%.For an inlet velocity of 9 m/s,the heat transfer drops to the lowest point,while the heat transfer error reaches a maximum,i.e.,9.87%.The pressure drop increasesfirst and then decreases with an increase in the wind speed and reaches a maximum of 819 Pa under the 9 m/s wind speed ***,the pressure drops,and the heat transfer coefficient increases with the Reynolds number.

A cold-model vertical multi-tube circulating fluidized bed evaporator was designed and built to conduct a visualization study on the pressure drop of a liquid–solid two-phase flow and the corresponding particle *** and polyformaldehyde particle(POM)were used as the liquid and solid phases,*** effects of operating parameters such as the amount of added particles,circulating flow rate,and particle size were systematically *** results showed that the addition of the particles increased the pressure drop in the vertical tube *** maximum pressure drop ratios were 18.65%,21.15%,18.00%,and 21.15%within the experimental range of the amount of added particles for POM1,POM2,POM3,and POM4,*** pressure drop ratio basically decreased with the increase in the circulating flow rate but fluctuated with the increase in the amount of added particles and particle *** difference in pressure drop ratio decreased with the increase in the circulating flow *** the amount of added particles increased,the difference in pressure drop ratio fluctuated at low circulating flow rate but basically decreased at high circulating flow *** pressure drop in the vertical tube bundle accounted for about 70%of the overall pressure drop in the up-flow heating chamber and was the main component of the overall pressure within the experimental ***-dimensional phase diagrams were established to display the variation ranges of the pressure drop and pressure drop ratio in the vertical tube bundle corresponding to the operating *** research results can provide some reference for the application of the fluidized bed heat transfer technology in the industry.

AIM To introduce natural orifice transgastric endoscopic surgery(NOTES) tube ileostomy using pelvis-directed submucosal tunneling endoscopic gastrostomy and endoscopic tube *** Six live pigs(three each in the non-survival and survival groups) were used. A double-channeled therapeutic endoscope was introduced perorally into the stomach. A gastrostomy was made using a 2-cmtransversal mucosal incision following the creation of a 5-cm longitudinal pelvis-directed submucosal tunnel. The pneumoperitoneum was established via the endoscope. In the initial three operations of the series, a laparoscope was transumbilically inserted for guiding the tunnel direction, intraperitoneal spatial orientation and distal ileum identification. Endoscopic tube ileostomy was conducted by adopting an introducer method and using a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy Catheter Kit equipped with the Loop Fixture. The distal tip of the 15 Fr catheter was placed toward the proximal limb of the ileum to optimize intestinal content drainage. Finally, the tunnel entrance of the gastrostomy was closed using nylon endoloops with the aid of a twin grasper. The gross and histopathological integrity of gastrostomy closure and the abdominal wall-ileum stoma tract formation were assessed 1 wk after the *** Transgastric endoscopic tube ileostomy was successful in all six pigs, without major bleeding. The mean operating time was 71 min(range: 60-110 min). There were no intraoperative complications or hemodynamic instability. The post-mortem, which was conducted 1-wk postoperatively, showed complete healing of the gastrostomy and adequate stoma tract formation of *** Transgastric endoscopic tube ileostomy is technically feasible and reproducible in an animal model, and this technique is worthy of further improvement.

To study a more micro-invasive procedure for patients having pancreatic duct stones(PDS).Till now,there has been no report of laparoscopic pancreatic duct incision and stone removal and T-type tube drainage for PDS in the English *** 82-year-old man suffered from subxiphoid pain associated with a dilated pancreatic duct(7 mm)containing one stone,but without a mass in the head of the *** pancreatic duct incision,stone removal,and T-type tube drainage were successfully performed without intraoperative or postoperative *** uneventful operation was performed with laparoscopically completed procedures in 160 *** intraoperative loss of blood was around 50 *** patient a discharge on day 11,complete relief from the subxiphoid pain was reported at a follow-up visit 15 mo *** pancreatic duct incision with stone removal and T-type tube drainage is applicable in carefully selected patients and can be effectively and safely used for the treatment of the abdominal pain of chronic pancreatitis.
