travelling wave solutions have been played a vital role in demonstrating the wave character of nonlinear problems arising in the field of ocean engineering and *** describe the propagation of the nonlinear wave phenomenon in the ocean(for example,wind waves,tsunami waves),a variety of evolution equations have been suggested and investigated in the existing *** paper studies the dynamic of travelling periodic and solitary wave behavior of a double-dispersive non-linear evolution equation,named the Sharma-Tasso-Olver(STO)*** evolution equations with double dispersion enable us to describe nonlinear wave propagation in the ocean,hyperplastic rods and other mediums in the field of science and *** analyze the wave solutions of this model using a combination of numerical simulations and Ansatz *** analysis shows that the travelling wave solutions involve a range of parameters that displays important and very interesting properties of the wave *** relevance of the parameters in the travelling wave solutions is also *** simulating numerically,we demonstrate how parameters in the solutions influence the phase speed as well as the travelling and solitary ***,we discuss instantaneous streamline patterns among the obtained solutions to explore the local direction of the components of the obtained solitary wave solutions at each point in the coordinate(x,t).

Propagation and Pinning of travelling wave for Nagumo Type Equation

In this paper, we study the propagation and its failure to propagate (pinning) of a travelling wave in a Nagumo type equation, an equation that describes impulse propagation in nerve axons that also models population growth with Allee effect. An analytical solution is derived for the traveling wave and the work is extended to a discrete formulation with a piecewise linear reaction function. We propose an operator splitting numerical scheme to solve the equation and demonstrate that the wave either propagates or gets pinned based on how the spatial mesh is chosen.

The Lie Group and Integrability of the Fisher Type travelling wave Equation

For the Fisher-type wave equation, which has two stable states and one unstable state, it is proved that only in two particular cases, the corresponding travelling wave equation admits a double parameter Lie group, and based on a method different to the traditional one, its two independent first integrals are given. It is proved further that in the two integrable cases, the different bounded and non-trivial travelling wave solutions, which are corresponding the invariant manifolds of the corresponding equation under the Lie transformation, can be expressed with elementary functions although they cannot be obtained directly from the two independent first integrals.

RF-thermal-structural-RF coupled analysis on a travelling wave disk-loaded accelerating structure

The travelling wave （TW） disk-loaded accelerating structure is one of the key components in normal conducting （NC） linear accelerators, and has been studied for many years. In the design process, usually after the dimensions of each cell and the two couplers are finalized, the structure is fabricated and tuned, and then the whole structure RF characteristics are measured by using a vector network analyzer. Before fabrication, the whole structure characteristics （including RF, thermal and structural ones） are less simulated due to the limited capability of currently available computers. In this paper, we described a method for performing RF-thermal-structural-RF coupled analysis on a TW disk-loaded structure using only one PC. In order to validate our method, we first analyzed and compared our RF simulation results on the 3 m long BEPC Ⅱ structure with the corresponding experimental results, which shows very good consistency. Finally, the RF-thermal-structure-RF coupled analysis results on the 1.35 m long NSC KIPT linac accelerating structure are presented.

This paper research on the pointwise behavior of perturbations from a viscous shock solution to a scalar viscous conservation law by introducing an approximate Green’s function. The authors obtain not only the pointwise decay of the perturbation and but also the high derivative of it. Stability in anyL(p≥1) norm is a direct consequence.

A travelling wave ultrasonic by the clutch coupling longitudinal and bending vibration modes is proposed to improve the output performance of the current ultrasonic *** proposed ultrasonic clutch mechanism is a crucial component and it mainly includes a driving friction plate,a slave friction plate,driving and slave Langevin transducers,driving and driven *** proposed ultrasonic clutch has the connection and disconnection *** addition,a driving travelling wave is generated by compositing the longitudinal and bending vibration modes of transducer and friction plate for realizing the regulation of output *** matching frequencies of two vibration modes are obtained by modal simulation analysis using finite element method.A prototype of ultrasonic clutch is manufactured and the vibration characteristics are *** results indicate that the travelling wave ultrasonic clutch coupling by longitudinal and bending vibration modes is feasible.

Adequate Closed Form wave Solutions to the Generalized KdV Equation in Mathematical Physics

In this paper, we consider the generalized Korteweg-de-Vries (KdV) equations which are remarkable models of the water waves mechanics, the shallow water waves, the quantum mechanics, the ion acoustic waves in plasma, the electro-hydro-dynamical model for local electric field, signal processing waves through optical fibers, etc. We determine the useful and further general exact traveling wave solutions of the above mentioned NLDEs by applying the exp(−τ(ξ))-expansion method by aid of traveling wave transformations. Furthermore, we explain the physical significance of the obtained solutions of its definite values of the involved parameters with graphic representations in order to know the physical phenomena. Finally, we show that the exp(−τ(ξ))-expansion method is convenient, powerful, straightforward and provide more general solutions and can be helping to examine vast amount of travelling wave solutions to the other different kinds of NLDEs.
