Ecological vulnerability refers to the degree of ecosystem disturbance,system damage,and the ability of system *** case-specific evaluations of ecological vulnerability are progressing rapidly,they have been carried out mainly in areas with intensive human activities or in harsh natural *** the Web of ScienceTM core collection,this review paper summarized studies on ecological vulnerability published from 2000 to 2022 and analyzed in depth major case *** was found that traditional ecological vulnerability research has been addressed largely in terms of assessment models,data processing models,and analysis of influencing factors,however there was a lack of research on the process of vulnerability *** the vulnerability transformation in a hierarchical vulnerability index system is regulated by multiple factors in a heterogeneous region,it is urgent to understand how the ecological vulnerability in a region evolves from one level to another over *** this paper put forward the new perspective of research,i.e.,applying quantitative analysis to identification of regulating factors and exploring the mechanisms of ecological vulnerability *** new perspective could assist in monitoring the complex spatiotemporal changes in ecological vulnerability and taking necessary measures to prevent from decline of ecological stability.

Rare earth recovery from fluoride molten-salt electrolytic slag by sodium carbonate roasting-hydrochloric acid leaching

Fluorinated rare earth molten-salt electrolytic slag contains a considerable amount of rare earth elements,as well as a variety of heavy metals and fluorides that cause environmental ***,it is of great importance to fully utilise this *** this study,the transformation mechanism of fluorinated rare earth molten-salt electrolytic slag roasted with sodium carbonate,and the regulation mechanism of rare earth leaching under different roasting conditions were investigated with the help of thermodynamic calculation of the reactions and kinetic *** thermodynamic and differential thermal thermogravimetric(DTA-TG)analysis shows that the transformation of rare earth fluoride to rare earth oxide is promoted at elevated ***,the leaching experimental results show that increasing the temperature,time,hydrochloric acid concentration,and liquid-solid ratio can effectively promote the recovery of rare *** optimum experimental conditions are a roasting temperature of 700℃,roasting time of 2 h,and sodium carbonate to molten salt electrolytic slag mass ratio of 0.6,followed by leaching at 80℃with a liquid-solid ratio of 10:1 by adding 3 moI/L hydrochlo ric acid with stirring for 2 *** these conditions,the rare earths in the molten salt electrolytic slag are biologically transformed at a lower temperature and the leaching efficiency of rare earths exceeds 98%.

Fabrication and Microstructural Control of Nano-structured Bulk Steels: A Review

There exist strong interests of developing nano-grained steels because of the outstanding properties including high strength/weight ratio, wear resistance, excellent toughness, and favorable cellular activity. This article reviews the main fabrication process and microstructural control of nano-structured steels over the last decades. Severe plastic deformation is considered as an effective route of obtaining the nano-grained microstructures. The process of cold-rolling and annealing of martensitic steel is a viable method to obtain bulk nano-structured low carbon steel, while the final thickness of the cold-rolling plate is limited. According to the theoretical results of the thermal simulation studies, a novel alloy design combined with the rapid transformation and rolling process is proposed to successfully fabricate nano-grained high strength bulk steel. The refinement mechanisms are expected to be taking advantage of increase in the transformation nucleation sites and inhibiting the grain coarsening. Moreover, corresponding mechanical properties are summarized.

Under the vision of development for the new era,China has entered a stage of high-quality economic development and an important window period in which we have the conditions and ability to address the prominent issue of economic development and ecological protection in a coordinated ***,all kinds of environmental benchmark values in China are lacking and need to be constantly supplemented and ***,exploring and putting forward a simple and efficient method for the transformation of environmental criteria into environmental standards is an important basis for the rapid establishment of relevant environmental criteria system and the effective promotion of the development of environmental standards system towards a scientific and reasonable *** this paper,the water environment is taken as the research *** analyzing the research progress of environmental criteria and standards at home and abroad,and the foreign method of transforming environmental criteria into environmental standards,combined with the problems faced in the process of transforming environmental criteria into environmental standards in China,an effective method to transform China's environmental criteria into environmental standards is *** analysis and comparison,it is found that the pollution reduction accounting method could achieve their simple and efficient *** the premise of obtaining environmental criteria for certain pollutants,environmental criteria for certain pollutants could be obtained by distributing pollutants reduction costs,and accounting economic benefits after reaching standard,thus obtaining the environmental standard of this type of pollutant,which provides reference to determine the environmental standard limits of such pollutants.
