BACKGROUND As one of the most important members in clinical trials,the number of clinical research nurses(CRN)can't keep up with the growth of experimental projects,so it is urgent to build clinical research training and strengthen the background knowledge of *** To construct CRN training program based on position competence,accelerate the construction of CRN talent pool,and provide scientific guidance significance for CRN *** Based on the position competence model,combined with literature research and qualitative interview results,the first draft was prepared of the CRN training *** rounds of correspondence with 16 experts were conducted using the Delphi method to determine the training *** The effective recovery rate of the expert correspondence questionnaire was 100%and the authority coefficients of the 2 rounds of experts were 0.826 and ***,4 first-level indicators and determine 15 s-level indicators of training *** training program included 4 first-level indicators,training requirements,content,methods,assessment and evaluation,15 s-level indicators,and 74 third-level *** The CRN training program based on position competence is scientific and extendable,providing a basis for participation in CRN training.

Quality of maternal and newborn care could be improved if health care providers’ knowledge and competencies as well as system level constraints are addressed. However, due to several barriers staff nurses who form the frontline of health care workforce have limited access to enhancing their clinical knowledge and competencies. To address this gap, a new cadre of nurse mentors (NMs) for the public health system were trained by specialists from a teaching hospital in a special 5-week training course. This included 54 hours of theory and 110 hours of practical in clinical obstetric and newborn care, apart from mentoring, quality improvement and health systems issues. The nurse mentors were assigned to support staff nurses in the primary health care centres (PHCs) in eight northern Karnataka districts. Each NM covered 6-8 PHCs monthly for 2 - 3 days and thus a total of 385 PHCs were reached. They received support in the field through supportive supervision visits done by the specialists who had trained them, as well as by refresher training and clinical postings to the district hospitals. This paper presents impact of the training program on change in immediate and long term knowledge and competency scores of nurse mentors. Their baseline knowledge scores changed from 44.3 ± 12.7 to 72.1 ± 13.8 immediately after the training in obstetric and from 18.2 ± 19.1 to 66.4 ± 14.9 in newborn (p p p > 0.05). Skills score soon after training increased from 62.2 ± 13.2 to 69.6 ± 12.5 in obstetric after a 1 year period and from 52.6 ± 9.3;63.5 ± 14.4 in newborn (p < 0.001) content areas respectively. These findings have implications for those interested in improving quality of maternal and child care through nurse-dependent health delivery systems.

The main objective of the work presented in this paper was to develop a customized safety training program that can be incorporated into the demolition projects undertaken as part of blight reduction efforts in urban centers. A subsidiary objective was to devise and implement a safety program evaluation methodology, and gain insights on the relationships between knowledge acquisition through training and trainee demographics. Salient aspects of blight elimination efforts, as well as the main facets of building demolition practices and requirements, were reviewed. Information on various related safety and health hazards was studied in depth with a focus on demolition operations dealing with blighted properties. A unique safety hazard awareness training program was created for demolition workers, contractors and inspectors based on this research. In addition to devising a curriculum of relevant training topics along with traditional and online delivery systems to be employed, effectiveness evaluation instruments were formulated. Based on the limited data collected from the trainees it was concluded that the program was well-received by them and provided effective learning. It was also found that no statistically significant associations existed between the knowledge gain of the trainees, and either their experience level or union status, after taking this training.

Purpose: To establish a training program for residents with no previous laparoscopic experience to perform anatomic retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy (ARA) and evaluate its safety and efficiency. Materials and methods: Based on the six segments of key techniques of ARA, a teaching schedule was designed. Thus we established a six-step training program where the residents learned the procedure in a mentor-initiated approach. Five residents with no previous laparoscopic experience joined the program. On intensive laboratory training received or not before the program, they were classified into group A (no) and group B (yes). During the training, the trainees acted as camera holder firstly. Subsequently, they repeatedly performed each step in the schedule, which was assisted by the mentor who performed the remaining steps of the procedure. Only when their performance satisfied the mentor, could they do the next step. Finally, they performed 30 procedures independently by supervision of the mentor. Results: The mean total repeats required by group A was more than group B (41.4 vs. 30, p=0.03). The mean operative time (OT), estimated blood loss and complications of the 30 procedures were not significantly different among group A, B and the mentor. Though the OT of the second15 procedures of group A and B were longer than that of the mentor (p=0.035, p=0.049, respectively), there was a still steeper learning curve compared with the mentor. Conclusions: The six-step training program was efficient to transfer the key techniques of ARA to the trainees without compromising patient care.

Preparedness training programs improved the emergency response and crucial outcomes among nursing students:a scoping review

It is a feasible choice for application-oriented finance and economics colleges to choose "2+1" training mode. It is the implementation of the "Opinions on Further Strengthening the College Practice Education Work" jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and other seven ministries. In the model, "+1" refers to the practice during the last academic year;"2" means the theory course in four semesters of the first two years, 2/3 of which is for the course, and 1/3 of which for the practice;In the design of training program, we encourage the students to improve their qualifications, actively promote the "double certificates" system;set module courses and optional courses, and implement mutual recognition of credit, not to increase the burden of students. It helps to improve the students’ comprehensive qualities and employment competitiveness.
