Underwater Recording and 3D Modeling during a Dive training course： A Case Study at Panormos, Skopelos, Greece

In the field of underwater survey, there is a variety of methods which differ from each other in terms of the operating environment and the purpose that each method is used. Hence, some of the state-of-the-art methods, that have many applications in the various scientific fields nowadays, are introduced in this paper. Additionally, the application of the procedures for an underwater survey in shallow depths is analyzed in accordance with the training standards of the PADI Underwater Survey Diver distinctive specialty. The main goal is to demonstrate not only the theoretical background of underwater surveys but also their operational issues, in order to facilitate the development of knowledge and skills during a training course. Finally, a case study for the recording and 3D modeling of the seabeds＇ morphology in shallow water is presented as it has been organized and accomplished by the participants of such a training course. By this way, it is expected that the reader will understand explicitly the application of the procedures prior, during and after the dive for an underwater survey in shallow depths.

Professional One-Day training course in BIM: A Practice Overview of Multi-Applicability in Construction

The implementation of Building Information modelling (BIM) methodology in the construction industry has been covering wide applicability with recognized benefits in designing, constructing and operating buildings. A recent short course organized in the University of Lisbon, actualized with the most relevant achievement based in master research, was offered to professionals of the industry, namely, architects and civil engineers coming from diverse engineering areas, environment, construction, maintenance, consult and patrimonial enterprises and also from public organizations like city councils. The proposed action covers the areas of construction (conflict analysis, planning and materials take-off), structures (interoperability, analyses and transfer of information between software) and the most recent Heritage Building Information Modelling (HBIM) topic. The course aims to contribute to the dissemination of the potential of BIM in the areas of designing, construction and refurbishing of historical buildings. The participants followed the course with great interest and satisfaction, formulating several questions directed to the particular activity of each of the attendees.

The purpose of this research is to discern the current problem of staff training system and how to increase the efficiency and approach to develop the staff training system of ZL fencing *** club was founded in 2019 and located in Chongqing city it has changed hands twice in three *** research uses real business cases to analyze and develop additional *** research methodology used for this study is qualitative research,using two data collection tools: interviews and *** participants included 19 service staff from full-time staffs and part-time *** is to gain insights by collecting data from everyone in the organization divided into ZL fencing club staffs and managers or head coach of clubs who have succeeded in the administration and management of staff training *** increasing the efficiency of the club's staff training system,it is used the principles of Human Resource Management combined with the application of various advantages from the model club to create a training system and training courses for ZL fencing club *** research objective is to diagnose the problems in the existing of ZL fencing club's current training system,then to find solutions to optimize and develop the training systems and courses for staff in the *** research results suggest that the main problem of ZL fencing clubs is the lack of a clear management model and staff training *** research receives management enlightenment,draws on the experience and advice of model clubs in developing an organizational style and a style of staff training that is suitable for the club's current state and size in order to further grow in the future.
