Atrial fibrillation(AF), the most common cardiac arrhythmia worldwide, is associated with a higher risk of mortality and morbidity, in which paroxysmal atrial fibrillation(PAF) approximately accounts for 25%-60% of AF. Anti-arrhythmic drugs(AAD) have been used to treat different indications of AF for a long time, but its use is limited due to potential proarrhythmic cardiovascular and non-cardiovascular toxicity as well as the modest impact on the maintenance of sinus rhythm. Recently, traditional chinese medicine(TCM) exhibits an excellent effect on PAF. This article primarily investigated the key points of common syndromes, TCM nursing methods and healthy guidance of PAF, aiming at maintaining and developing the strengths of TCM, improving its efficacy and standardizing its behavior.

At present, unified and effective treatment for diabetic peripheral neuropathy （DPN） is still lacking, however chinese medicine techniques characterized by syndrome differentiation and treatment, for example traditional chinese medicine preparations, acupuncture, and fumigation, have been considered the promising alternative for DPN. traditional chinese medicine nursing, which is development on the basis of traditional chinese medicine （TCM） theory, uses not only acupuncture, acupoint application and other treatments but also cares for the patient＇s diet and emotions in order to promote the recovery of skin and nerve endings in patients with DPN. Vast amounts of studies have explored the efficacies of various TCM nursing techniques in managing DPN, however, the article, which comprehensively documented these TCM nursing techniques in DNP patients, cannot be cap- tured. In the present article, we summarized the latest findings of TCM research on DPN in recent years in order to provide a reference for DPN.

Methodological exploration on the construction of a traditional chinese medicine nursing expert consensus based on evidence--taking stroke as an example

Objective: To explore the methodology of the evidence-based expert consensus formulation process of traditional chinese medicine(TCM) nursing taking stroke as an ***: First, preliminary and comprehensive presentation of all stroke-related symptoms and corresponding TCM nursing techniques involved were revealed through bibliometric analysis. Then, selection of stroke symptoms and TCM nursing techniques for inclusion in the consensus was performed using an expert consultation method. Next, we determined the search strategy for a precise evidence search;conducted an evaluation of evidence quality and the grade of the evidence;and completed evidence extraction, evidence analysis, and evidence synthesis based on the included symptoms and TCM nursing techniques. The Delphi method was then applied to determine the strength of each recommendation and the choice of nursing care points by referring to the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations grid. Finally, we conducted an external expert validation of the Delphi results to form an expert consensus ***: Through the bibliometric analysis, 22 stroke symptoms and 18 TCM nursing techniques were identified in the literature. Then, after expert consultation, 22 symptoms and 111 pairs of symptoms combined with TCM nursing techniques were selected for the evidence search. Evidence integration yielded 10 stroke symptoms corresponding to 29 bodies of evidence;these 10 symptoms were retained through the Delphi consultation, and recommendation strength results for 26 recommendations were obtained. A total of 9 symptoms were further retained for expert external validation to form 24 recommendations, with a recommendation process score range of 7.64-9.99 points and a more scientific and standardized recommendation-formation ***: Owing to the current limited conditions of evidence-based resources for TCM nursing, the present consensus-building process represents only a

At present, unified and effective treatment for hypertension with insomnia is still lacking, traditional chinese medicine (TCM) nursing technology can improve insomnia symptoms, reduce blood pressure, alleviate fatigue, improve anxiety, depression, improve the quality of life for patients with hypertension and insomnia. There is not only the application of the single TCM nursing technology, such as acupoint massage, acupoint application, ear acupoint pressure beans and so on, but also the application of two or a variety of TCM nursing techniques in hypertension with insomnia. In this article, the results of TCM nursing technology on hypertension with insomnia in recent years are reviewed in order to provide reference for the treatment of hypertensive with insomnia.

Master-apprentice system is a main mode of talent cultivation for traditional chinese medicine(TCM). To vigorously push forward inheritance and innovation of TCM nursing, Beijing Administration of traditional chinese medicine carried out TCM nursing inheritance work in 2016, establishing 3 studios and 1 workstation. In this paper, we summarized constructional methods and achievements in TCM nursing inheritance studios and workstation, raised issues during working, and thought about how to work in the next stage, in hoping to lay a good foundation for carrying out in-depth work about TCM nursing inheritance.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of traditional chinese medicine nursing on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after abdominal operation. Methods: A total of 148 patients undergoing abdominal surgery from June 2013 to June 2014 in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 74 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing and the observation group was treated with the pointer, acupuncture and external application of abdominal treatment on the basis of routine nursing, which is 2 times a day,7 days for a course of treatment. Results: The recovery time of bowel sound, the first anal exhaust defecation time the in the observation group and the hospital day was less than the control group. With the comparison of two groups, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P nursing, the implementation of traditional chinese medicine characteristic nursing can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, reduce the occurrence of complications, shorten the length of stay and improve the clinical effect.
